After the diagnosis, he made a few recommendations ... not an upsale but a requirement due to the age of the unit. Ultimately, a new water heater was installed plus other items. The project was completed in a timely manner. They cleaned up nice and hauled away everything. After a few months, the inspector reported the water heater was manufactured in 2005 and hence, out of warranty. I contacted Alex and he responded. It turned out the inspector made an error which resulted with incorrect information. The unit was manufactured in 2025. This goes to show you Alex will not ghost you after the work was installed and invoice was fully paid. He will help you with whatever you need after the work has been done and paid for. That says a lot about the business and its integrity. Character counts! I highly recommend Alex! You be glad you did!

This request was AFTER my other plumber of several yrs did not come out to do the work on Friday or Sat. The Owner of Fair Price Plumbing TX named Dennis was the 1st business to reply to my request. He quoted a fair price (lower than my other plumber) AND was available the same day. What a Blessing!!!! I booked Dennis and he arrived 10 mins early, dressed professionally in uniform, very cordial and he even put shoe covers on over his work boots to protect my floors. He went straight to work and was done in no time flat. He took a picture of the old wax ring to show me where the awful smell was "probably" coming from. My toilet did not sit flush to the floor so Dennis added skims to shore it up so it was stable and secure. Who knew!?! WOW. We had to call them out 2 weeks after the initial service was completed. Today I called another plumber because the sink was still leaking. The same guy (short, skinny, white guy with tattoos and big hole ear piercings) came out and showed us pictures of the job that he did last year and tried to argue me down about what happened to the screws that are somehow missing. He was extremely combative, argumentative and looked demented. He kept talking about the pictures from last year and asking me what happened to the screws, so I pulled out my phone to record him and he left! Be ware! If you don't want to have to get someone to correct their sloppy work, do not use them!

While YouTube can be a great resource, there are definitely some things that only come with experience and knowing the tricks of the trade. Christian (Epic Plumber) quickly identified what needed to be done, installed the new faucet correctly, and even verified the repair by using the access panel behind the tub to ensure there were absolutely no leaks inside the wall. That extra step gave me real peace of mind that the job was done right the first time. He was professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. One thing I especially appreciated was that he put on boot covers before coming inside. I don't allow outside shoes on the upstairs carpet, and without me even having to ask, he took the initiative to protect my home. It's becoming harder to find contractors who genuinely care about doing quality work and treating a customer's home with respect.
