Chicken fried new york strip
Steven R.

First time trying a chicken fried new york strip so good my wife said her breakfast hey quesadilla was good my new favorite diner highly recommended

Terry J.

I had to laugh...restaurant was described as fancy. While my sis was having her Nails done I decided to give this rest a try. I've seen it many times but the name and location didn't grab me. Ordered the meatloaf, prepared at the restaurant with gravy, Garlic mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, green beans. I couldn't help but notice the dessert case and went for it. What arrived was scrumptious! Excellently prepared and tasty. The blue negative critique is the greens beans, potato's and Mac n cheese arrive "cold". The meatloaf and gravy was piping hot. Regardless the food was delicious. Meatloaf was wonderful, Wrapped in bacon and topped with breaded stringed onions. The gravy was homemade. It's billed as a shiner Brock brown gravy and it compliments the potatoes and meatloaf perfectly. Th green beans are freshly prepared and seasoned. Mashed potatoes had the right amount of garlic. Enjoyed them. The highlight was the Mac N cheese. It was cheesy. Yo could taste the cheddar. Superb! Finally, Triple coconut cream Pie with coffee. It turned my whole day around. Both were fantastic and tasty. Classic lesson for today...don't judge a book by its cover. I'll be back...with family and Friends!

Plenty of seating at lunch. Huge portions. Very tasty food. Friendly service. Variety on the menu and specials. Mix of tables and booths. Very nice meal and we will be back.

Breakfast Special #1 - Buttered Pancakes

Omg, never been here before- but Damn this is definitely the best breakfast I've ever had! The pancakes were so soft and easy to cut into!!! But waitress was so nice and funny with cracking jokes with us. Love the open space and it was very clean and airy. Definitely will be back!

Had to come back and try all the delicious food again. Dropping in to leave this photo. Sirloin chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese!! It is a plate that can easily but shared.. large portion!! Yum

Been here several times. Very good. The only thing we would say is it's very loud. And sun shades needed.

She allowed us an extra long time to unwind & converse over drinks without hurrying us at all. She was very pleasant & interesting to talk to as she gave us the names of other sister restaurants & elaborated on their specialties & their world- famous chefs. While each of us had different entrees we all raved about the appearances & flavors of each one. And the assistant manager, Michael, stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals & to see if we had any complaints. There were none, but it isn't often that restaurant managers come by & greet their customers. However, the highlight of our meals we agreed was dessert. Several of us had the Key Lime Pie which was excellent & enough for 2 to share. But the winner of the dessert competition was the Butter Cookie-Cake which wasn't even on the menu but was so yummy all of us had rather large bites & said we'd come back just for that dessert alone. Thank you, Marissa, for suggesting we try it--but it's puzzling why it's not on the menu. Before we left the restaurant Manager, Stephanie, came by to introduce herself & hear our feedback. THAT very rarely happens & demonstrates a concerted attention to customer satisfaction. All in all, the Towne Grill provided a delicious meal & excellent service. We can highly recommend it & will most certainly return.

Our food took over an hour to come out, which was honestly surprising considering one of the meals was just a salad. The food itself was good, and our server was fine, but communication was lacking. We repeatedly had to ask for updates on our food and never really received any clear answers. I understand holidays are busy, but the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. Based on this visit, I would definitely avoid coming here on a special holiday. I have definitely had better service here before.

As the community that lives around the marina we will miss this family restaurant and wish them well on their next adventure. Dear Friends, Family, and the Wonderful Community of Eagle Mountain Lake, With a heart full of gratitude and a touch of bittersweet emotion, I'm writing to share that Sammy's on the Lake will be closing its doors. Since opening in 2019, we've had the honor of serving more than just great food and lakeside views--we've had the privilege of building a community. What started as a dream quickly turned into a place where strangers became regulars, and regulars became friends who feel like family. Every laugh shared across a table, every celebration, every quiet moment watching the water together--it all means more to us than words can express. To our incredible customers: Thank you for showing up, through every season and every storm. You supported us during the hardest times, especially through the uncertainties of COVID-19 and the long, cold winter months that would have closed many other doors. Your loyalty, your warmth, your presence--it's what kept us going. To the musicians who sang, played, and entertained us--thank you for filling our space with music, energy, and soul. Your talent brought our patio to life, set the tone for countless memories, and made Sammy's more than a restaurant--it made it a place to gather, dance, and celebrate. We are so grateful for every note and every night you spent with us. To the staff who've been part of this journey: You are the heart and soul of Sammy's. Every dish, every smile, every late night--we did it all together. We love you all deeply, and we are endlessly proud of the work we did and the family we built. And to the marina owners and staff--thank you for your unwavering support and partnership over the years. You welcomed us, and helped make this little spot by the water a true home. Although this chapter is closing, we are choosing to end it with a grateful and joyful heart. Sammy's on the Lake was more than a restaurant--it was a shared dream lived out with the best people we could have asked for. And now, as we pass the torch to a new owner, The Anchor on Eagle Mountain Lake ! we hope you'll join us in welcoming them with the same warmth and support you gave us. We are excited to see what the future brings for this beautiful place we've all come to love. Thank you, from the bottom of our heart's for every memory. With love and gratitude, The Molina Family

For an appetizer, we got the spinach artichoke dip. It was okay -- pretty average. It tasted mostly like cream cheese, so if that's your thing, you'll probably enjoy it. It wasn't bad, though -- we did finish it. My boyfriend had the fish tacos and said they were phenomenal. I, on the other hand, ordered the half chicken, which was unfortunately way overcooked and really tough to chew. For sides, the zucchini was excellent, but the "loaded mac n cheese" was horrible -- easily the worst part of the meal. I actually had to send it back. They did take the chicken dish off our bill, which I appreciated, but we still somehow ended up with a $90 lunch bill -- for just one meal, an appetizer, and a couple of drinks. Definitely felt overpriced. All that said, our waiter was very nice, and the place itself had a nice, chill vibe. Just wish the food had matched the ambiance -- and the price point
