The tools she used to scrub my scalp were nice because I felt like she really got in there. But I didn't feel like there was any "acupressure." The hand massage had no consistency, and I found myself counting what she was doing. She massages like in between my pinky finger like 5 times, then the thumb once and then pulled index finger only. In between our thumb and pointing fingers are where the best pressure points are. It's great for relieving stress and headaches. I do hand and arm massage daily. Someone dropped a box of supplies or something and was loud picking it all back up in the middle of the massage. Definitely not relaxing at all. During my facial, she used a wet sponge or towel that was a little TOO wet, and water was dripping inside my nose. Although that part didn't feel as good, the facial was my favorite part. The neck and shoulders massage could've been better and consistent. This place has such good potential. I think they all need to experience this service themselves. Maybe do it on each other. If they had a dance party, we felt like we were in the club with them. Within our first few weeks, we had a giant package delivered--and it got stolen from *inside* the building. Yes, INSIDE. I thought indoor deliveries were supposed to be safer, but nah, apparently, it's fair game. The pool? Great... unless there were more than four people in it. Suddenly, it felt like sardines in a can. And at night? It turned into the hottest (and least exclusive) nightclub in town. Random people snuck in all the time. Cue police sirens and new security guards patrolling all night like it was a Fast & Furious movie. Also, Building Two has *limited* parking thanks to the dog park behind it. Finding a spot felt like playing parking roulette most nights. It's Independence, MO, so some of this is expected. But after a year, the reality hit different than our first dreamy few weeks. The items are discounted and most things are really good quality. Last time I was there we got a 25 lb kettlebell for $20, some named brand face cream that was $4, and my husband got some Monster headphones he was really excited about for $40. Unfortunately when we got back to our family's house only one headphone worked. We took it back and I was pleasantly surprised that the return process was seamless. We will continue to go back when we are in town and see what deals we can find.

I think some prices are good but others aren't that great so you have to be ready to spend some time looking. It's just not very organized. Maybe they try but it's not. But when you run across something you really want, that's fun! One huge issue is no dressing rooms. They say you can return but it's about a 40 minute drive for me each way so it would be much better if I could try on before I buy. The last time I was there, I literally got in the corner of the store and tried on everything over my clothes and my partner took a photo so I could get an idea of what it looked like on me even with my clothes underneath. I got paranoid at one point because they have a lot of plain clothed security in there and I was worried they might think I was up to something but I was rather conspicuous so I'd be a really stupid criminal. Lol BUT, I liked everything I tried on so that's a positive for Cargo Largo! I also had an item in my cart with a red sticker on it as a markdown. The item was still about $30 but it rang up for over almost at $50. The guy ringing me up looked it up by the date they received it (May of 2025) and said the price on the ticket was wrong so he called over the manager. At first she told me she wouldn't honor the price on the ticket but then she said she would. I thanked her and I got the idea she really had to go by this date system but that's not cool. If you make an error, you should honor the price. And you've had the item in your store for 5 months so reducing it $15 to sell it isn't crazy. Again, in the end I got it for that price and I appreciate the manager's help, but it was a bit embarrassing having to feel like I'm haggling when the tag clearly stated that price. If it weren't for that incident, the lack of dressing rooms, and the intimidating presence of the security (you can definitely spot them even in plain clothes), I would rate them higher. I was a bit nervous to see what groomers were out there, but I saw that this place had excellent reviews and in this case, it was an emergency I had found a tick on my dog and wanted to make sure that we took precautions got him groomed and treated. I called the puppy parlor and right away. They booked me for the first availability that they had the same day. It was a miracle and I was so grateful to be able to get a spot. They were very professional and thorough. They asked me questions about the dog. If I had any concerns, they listed the pricing over the phone of their services so I had an idea before walking in once I got off the phone they sent me a confirmation text and a form to fill out that was super easy to do any additional questions that I had the team was on and super quick to respond and pass along any messages I have for the groomer. When I got to the location to drop off Jack, they were very friendly super quick with checking us in the groomer came out and she was amazing. She made sure to introduce herself to Jack. She went over any concerns that I had or that she has regarding the grooming, great communication skills overall, and I'd love that she made sure that my dog felt safe with her before she took him. She even got to ground-level to introduce herself once I dropped off Jack. They let me know that they would call me and then I can go pick them up. They sent me a text once he was ready and I went to go pick up Jack once I got inside they immediately brought him out and he looked amazing. He was clean. He was happy which is overall the best thing that I can expect he didn't seem scared or skittish he seemed confident and a happy pup. The grooming came out. Perfect he smelled amazing his nails and everything was done perfect perfectly. I am thrilled to have found this place and will definitely be coming back for our regular grooming.
