Nice convenient location to supercharge when going outlet shopping. Close to McDonald's so you can also grab a quick bite. Sometimes there can be a wait for a spot, but it is generally not too bad. The actual charging speed was quite unstable this most recent trip. It would go up and down and can be quite slow...but since I was shopping it didn't bother me too much that it took longer. However it means other cars that need a charging spot may have longer waits. read more

Lots of chargers at a great location. My wife always wanted to stop at the outlet mall on our way to Southern California but I always found an excuse to skip it. Now that we have a model Y I can stop and charge while my wife can enjoy the outlet mall for about an hour. It's how I helped to convince her that a new model Y had many benefits. Lol We arrived on Friday around noon and about half of the stalls were being used. 50 minutes later all stalls were occupied as I was unplugging. So it appears that this is a popular charging location. Plan accordingly. read more

Not enough chargers for this busy location. Had to wait and then when I walked to McDonald's which has disgusting food options very few of which are vegan. They informed me that they were closed and I could not use the bathroom because the outlet malls are closed. Needed a boost on the way to Joshua Tree. The superchargers at Cabazon are the last opportunity and we were glad we stopped. The high output chargers packed 113 kW at 380 mi/hr. We were fully charged in less than an hour. The added benefit is the location of the chargers at the end of the Cabazon outlet mall. There is a wealth of shopping and restaurant opportunities nearby to explore while your car is charging. When the charge is complete it is back on the 10 and on to the next adventure. Yay! read more

My parents love to shop at the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. Think of it as South Coast (in Costa Mesa) but outlets. As my parents aren't so keen on driving long distances I'm usually the driver... which means I'm taking my M3 with me. When going to the outlet malls from southern San Diego I can make it to the outlets on a charge but I would have to stop here going back. The same situation happens if I were to make a drive to Palm Springs, 30 minutes east. There are 16 v2 charging stations in this SC. It is located right next to a McDonalds for a fast food/bathroom break but a 10 minute walk should you walk to the end of the west end of the outlet. It's probably better to charge before or after your outlet visit. There are lots of places to eat at the outlet itself but personally my go-to is Hadley Fruit Orchards. Two words: DATE.SHAKES. Plus it's also a pretty decent grocery store. read more

Despite being the only car there, it was charging at an extremely slow rate for some reason 3. The McDonalds next door is closed (perhaps due to Covid-19?) 4. There is nothing else here besides the McD. 5. DON'T be in the left lane as you get within a few miles, because you are trapped by a concrete wall that lasts for miles and it is a long loop to come back around. The Tesla Supercharging stations at Cabazon are located at the far end of the parking lot, closest to McDonalds. There are lots of stations and when we visited, most were available and operating. I liked that a technician was there inspecting and cleaning the stations. The stalls did seem a bit narrow IMHO. So getting in and out of the stall with a lot of car traffic passing required an abundance of caution. As far as Tesla charging stations, this location is good and necessary. Palm Springs vacation at a hotel without a destination charger. Needed to "fill up" before getting to Palm Springs and before heading home. 16 stalls, convenient location, about 2 minutes from the exit. All the stalls are pull in forward, so if you are pulling something or have a bike rack, no problem getting in. And 20 yards from a McDonalds. Also a short walk to the Cabazon Outlet stores if that's your thing. So clean bathrooms and a place for decent coffee or a fast stop to get discounted clothes before the long drive home. read more

We always visit this place to run some errands and top of some Tesla charge at the same time. You can always find an available charger most of the time and all the stalls are in working condition. It might be little difficult to find thus place, if you are coming for the first time. Tip: keep driving to the end of the mall. It is situated at the far end of the parking lot, perpendicular to the valley market place. Bonus is that the strip mall has a grocery store, Bakery and you can get some shopping done while you are getting your Tesla charged! The con is that it is far away if you are living in Encino area and have to drive all the way up, just for this! During the COVID lock down, we visited this charger so many times to get some sight seeing done as well. read more

Right next to McDonalds at the far west end of the Cabazon Outlet Center. A couple of stalls were vacant when we first checked it out and the day we charged. Only a short distance (20 mins.) from Palm Springs directly off the 10 westbound side. Didn't see any Tesla personnel, but none was needed. This is a "nose in" charge station which I prefer to others that I have had to back in to. This was our first road trip of any good distance in our Tesla Model 3 and it was a beautiful sight to see the Tesla charging units waiting for us to top off our vehicle for a worry free trip back to San Diego. read more

I like the location of it just outside of the Cabazon outlets. However it's misleading. In the car it says 6 of 18 available, but when you get here all of those are coned off. After inspecting a couple of the coned off plugs the right side of the plug has a spacer that doesn't allow to be plugged in all the way. Or there's some damage to the plug itself. Either way about 50% of them are coned off. So you might have a wait. read more

AWFUL! We weren't even getting 72kW, I tried several spaces up and down the row. Total waste of time. So i went to Beaumont, just 7 miles west of Cabazon, with easy freeway on and off. My charge time went from 50 minutes to 9 minutes with 250kW. And there are numerous choices of places to eat, as opposed to just McDonalds at Cabazon. The Beaumont chargers are next to In-N- Out with very clean restrooms. read more

We've been to this charging station a couple months ago and thought it was great with the exception of all the trash and overflowing garbage can which is a bit ridiculous. We're back a few month later and have found at least half of the chargers have been vandalized and the trash is even more excessive now. This makes no sense. Unsure if it's kids or the homeless, but it's frustrating that this goes on in an area near one of the most beautiful shopping areas. My husband said the connectors have been damaged. There's not a close place for us to charge when visiting family in Beaumont and if traveling long distance it would be a bit of a drive between charging destinations. These chargers need to be fixed fast and more security is needed. The charge is very slow. Slower than our home. Not sure if it's due to the damaged chargers or because you have to share a charging stall. Needless to say it's frustrating to see that there isn't the security needed to ensure the safety of the area as well as the cleanliness. read more

This supercharger is located at the North End of a large Shopping Center in Cabazon. The only negative is that it is in a very hot and windy part of the desert. There is a casino nearby which offers a break from the Heat and an opportunity to lose money while you save money charging your car at Tesla's expense. I was able to get more than a hundred miles in about 20 minutes just enough time to get a hot fudge sundae at the nearby McDonalds. read more
