I've stopped here a few times since it opened with various experiences. The most important thing to know is they can get crazy busy on the weekends, so they may not be as quick in and out if you're getting something other than gas. I was slightly disappointed on my last trip, though. I was going to grab some quick hot food, probably pizza, and the line was way too long! I thought I had free play, but none of the travel center machines accept it! They also don't have a way to print a player's card, which is very odd, since they have machines that can do so in the main casino. So much for that plan. The gas here is super cheap compared to anywhere else in the area, so you'll often see lines to get gas, but they have a ton of pumps, so if you have to wait, it probably won't be that long. It's also listed as Top Tier gas, which is unusual for tribal stations, so definitely take advantage of that if you can. Plenty of pumps here, and I like that they also have gas in the lower area, which most people don't usually visit. This new spot is okay -- it's your typical gas station vibe with food and snacks, but what sets it apart is that they have a casino inside. A friend asked me to pick up cigarettes, and wow -- the price was $20 a pack, which is way too high. You'd be better off going somewhere else for smokes. I like the new station at the top of the hill as it is more modern and had restrooms and a store for quick shopping. Hubs likes the original location better because it is less busy and he likes the old school feel and style of the gas station. So either way we are both happy with the gas prices and amenities. It's a great place to stop and rest too. There are lots of places to get out of the way and not hold up people or traffic. read more

Made a point to stop here assuming newer pace would have clean restrooms. Wrong. Restrooms at the lower gas station give dirty gas station restrooms a bad name. Then the restrooms in the newer upper store were closed for "cleaning" so we waited like 20 minutes to be let in to dirty restrooms. We came to the conclusion that all the guy was doing in there was watching or making TikTok videos. Good luck if u stop here. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of snacks, drinks, souvenirs, gifts available for purchase. Gas was about $.50 cheaper than any other local place. Hoses were extra long so it could accommodate large vehicles or if you pull in on the wrong side of your gas tank. Not too far off the I10 freeway. BEWARE EVERYONE!! They have changed their Pre-authorization amount at the pumps. Until May 21, 2026 it had always been only $1.00 dollar pending on my credit card. However, I was aghast in reviewing my credit card statement the next day to find out that as of that date they pre-authorized $990 against my credit card in a pending status. That effectively removes $990 from my credit limit. I called both their Corporate offices and also went into the travel center and no one would help me. They said this is just the way they are doing things now. It is going to take anywhere from 3 to 10 business days for that pre-authorization pending amount to come off my credit card against my credit card limit. You might want to rethink using that credit card at the pump. read more

This place is a very updated version of the previous travel center. It is so new it is on.it's shakedown cruise. Very modern, up to date. Lots of graphic indicators of pump and fuel availability. I have had nothing but trouble with my cars fuel system since I filled up here right after it opened! The amount of sand & dirt that went into my gas tank making my fuel injectors stick open is ridiculous. Replaced the injectors twice, but need to drop the tank & clean & replace injectors "Again" you people suck! BEWARE:: came here to get gas on 7/8 and got a few snacks from the gas station. I had a 100$ bill and told the cashier to put the remainder of the money on pump # 30. When I went out to pump the gas it wasn't pumping so I went back in and asked the lady what was wrong. She said she put the gas on pump #33 and claimed that's what I said. Pump #33 was more for semi /diesel trucks. By the time we realized someone has already pumped the money that was in pump 33 so now I am out 100$ worth of gas. I asked to see the cameras because I know I said pump 30 and they refused to show them to me. I asked to talk to the lady I told pump 30 to and they claimed she had left for the day. Yeah I bet she did with my gas in her tank! I can not believe the manager would not honor their mistake! Morongo Car Wash is behind the casino tower. This brand new location is immaculate, as you would image. The cost seems reasonable too, at $15 for "The Ultimate", $10 for "The Deluxe" and $8 for "The Express", see Pricing Board photo. Btw, this is a Touch Free operation, so no fear of scratches. They accept Credit Cards, or you can pay for your Wash when you buy your gas at the pump. And because this is brand new location, you can only access the Wash via the Morongo Fueling Center, that's because the main road is literally being paved. read more

Morongo Casino Resort just build this new Travel Center. It's huge. It's modern (Touch screen gas pump!) And I will tell you an open secret: It has the cheaper gas price in Southern California! (About a dollar cheaper than Costco gas) If you are staying at Morongo, make sure to get gas! If you are traveling on the 10 interstate coming or going to/from Palm Springs, Just get off the freeway on Morongo Trail. Drive straight up the hill till the end, and it's on your right. No need to queue in. Just pull next to any open station. The store also has tons of snacks and restrooms. You will be impressed! As we were pulling out of our usual stop at the lower gas station, we followed the sign pointing to the New travel center just up the hill, and discovered new pumps, new huge store plus restrooms inside instead of our usual potty stop at the center below. Customer service sucks. I am not saying The Morongo as a whole Has bad customer service. I believe the company strives to offer a pleasant experience. It is more than once that I've ran into this problem. Their employees seem very unhappy. For example I was at the gas station I was purchasing their cigarettes Seneca brand and they have all these different colors but they don't explain what the different colors are so I've just been trying each one to see what I like. This time I asked for the brown pack. I paid she hands me the cigarettes and then I read they are non-filters. I asked if I could exchange it for a filtered brand. The girl goes we don't do refunds on tobacco products. I wasn't asking for a refund I had not even left the counter. The supervisor comes down and goes no to say we don't do exchanges or refunds tobacco products. I've been to many stores they all have a no refund policy if you leave the store. But if you had not left the counter you can exchange. I mean they don't hand you the pack until you have paid. So how would you know they were nonflitered you couldn't read them until you paid. It's just BS and obvious the manager whose name was Jennifer was on one and unwilling to make the customer happy and simply exchange them out. read more

Gas was only $5.1 this AM. I don't get to drive out far much only on National holiday weekends as such. There was zero traffic This AM on Veterans' Day Weekend/Nov/12/22.... Good gas prices. Visited in February 2025 and store was closed (maybe for construction/remodeling?). Bathrooms were in a separate building and were clean to use, but did not have any soap to wash your hands. There's an In-N-Out and a Starbucks in the same parking lot. read more

I always come here for gas, energy drinks and snacks! They have just about anything you will need on your travels or just to stop in if you live in the area. Not even kidding. The security is always kind and you can tell they are doing a great job of keeping it safe. The cashiers are always kind and courteous. They are quick and efficient at their job! I haven't had one bad experience At all. This location is clean and always organized inside and outside. There is still more of this center I haven't explored but I look forward to checking more out in the near future. I have definitely appreciated the experiences I have had. read more

Horrible experience from start to finish. Pumps were busy with people parked at them playing in the casino. No one was regulating anything. Honestly not the worst part, the worst part was once getting inside the building. The inside of the gas station had a horrible smell with only 3 check stands open. I walked up to the line closes to the door and got in it. Cashier and I made eye contact. I waited probably 10 minutes as customers in the line were helped. As I was to be the next one the cashier called for others to come from the second line over by the drinks and snacks. Has the audacity to say the "lines over there" as she watched me walk up and stand in the line for that amount of time. I couldn't believe it. So I walked over to the other line just to be met with the same amount if not more rudeness. Avoid this place if possible. Both cashiers were older women with glasses. Only got one name.. Araba. Wow. I'm a nurse & I just got off a night shift & took a shower to take my son to his gmas house. I accidentally left my house without shoes & the pump didn't take tap to pay. I had no choice but to go in without shoes and the very, very rude cashier let me wait in line & then refused to sell me gas because I had no shoes on. As if I wanted to go inside without shoes ma'am I'm about to run out of gas & im ridiculously exhausted from working multiple 12 hour night shifts in a row in the ER. Usually stop for just gas, due to it being so much cheaper than anywhere else. But today I decided to try the casino and boy was I impressed! Small but some decent .25 cent machines that seem to have treated me good today. Only there about 5 minutes and I doubled my money . Cashed out for 160 quarters $20 more than I had. It wasn't easy to do as I felt this machine could pay much more but then again it could have taken all of it too. Always fun to earn a little cash on the way home.
