This was very confusing to me and over twenty other motorists who stopped here for gas at this HUGE gas station adjacent to the Morongo Casino. This place takes advantage of its close location to the 10 freeway to charge extra for cash vs…read morecredit. If you use a credit card, in addition to charging you $0.10 more per gallon for gas, they limit your transaction to $50. If you have a car or truck that takes more than 15 gallons, you are probably going to be out of luck and have to do two transactions. That seems really inconvenient for a Shell gas station, which should easily accommodate larger transactions and should not rip customers off for using credit cards. If you have a club card, you might be able to get a discount - but most of that will be absorbed by the needless business practice of overcharging customers for using the most common form of payment at gas stations. The convenience store is very small and does not offer many choices. They also overcharge for just about everything and it is definitely not worth getting any snacks here. Specifically Arizona iced tea is supposed to be $0.99 but they add an additional charge on top of that (in addition to tax and CRV). If you are on a road trip, give this place a miss in favor of another gas station.

This is my favorite gas station. Jesus and the rest of the crew are so pleasant and polite, and professional. The place is super clean. The bathrooms are clean. Every employee I've ever dealt with here has been absolutely professional, courteous, and efficient. I'm very picky about gas stations. This one is like an Apple store. Well, not quite. I mean, I wish they would fix the fact that their south-facing terminals, the LCD displays don't show very well in the sunlight. But that's not the fault of the people running this. I have been seeing the same people here for at least 2 years and that is saying a lot for a gas station. And they run it clean. Best gas, my favorite.

I was slightly disappointed on my last trip, though. I was going to grab some quick hot food, probably pizza, and the line was way too long! I thought I had free play, but none of the travel center machines accept it! They also don't have a way to print a player's card, which is very odd, since they have machines that can do so in the main casino. So much for that plan. The gas here is super cheap compared to anywhere else in the area, so you'll often see lines to get gas, but they have a ton of pumps, so if you have to wait, it probably won't be that long.
