I brought in my 2017 Model S after an Auto Summon incident where the vehicle sideswiped a garage pillar, damaging the passenger-side door and mirror. What should have been a routine repair turned into a complete failure in quality control and customer service. When I picked up my vehicle, it was returned in worse condition than when I dropped it off. Immediately, I noticed multiple new issues that did not exist prior to service: * Wind noise caused by a panel gap/misalignment * Climate system not functioning (no cold air, climate unavailable in the app, and Dog Mode disabled) * Park Assist not working * Exterior temperature not displaying * Rear passenger door handle not functioning * Missing front sensor rubber cap * Missing clip on the front mud flap * Front lip rubber improperly installed and blocking part of the grille * Vehicle returned extremely dusty * Scratched damages to the steering wheel These are not minor details--these are basic functions and components that were clearly disturbed or improperly reassembled during the repair. It is unacceptable to return a vehicle in this condition. So I had to drop off the car once again for repairs. To make matters worse, when I picked up the car for the second time, there new scratch on the passenger mirror (which was not present at drop-off), the manager suggested that I may have caused it myself. That accusation was both incorrect and unprofessional. This is something that would have been identified during the original walk-through. Although she eventually offered to order a new mirror cap, it felt more dismissive than a genuine effort to take responsibility. The interaction escalated further when, during our discussion, she brought another employee to stand behind her. He was one of the tallest team member there. This came across as an intimidation tactic rather than an attempt to resolve the issue. Instead of taking accountability, the conversation shifted to irrelevant points about "free work" (I paid my deductible), my vehicle being a "legacy" model, and my service history--none of which addressed the actual problems. This entire experience reflects a serious lack of accountability, professionalism, and quality control. Returning a vehicle with multiple new defects--both functional and cosmetic--should never happen at any service center, let alone Tesla. I honestly had a better experience at a Tesla-certified collision shop. The only positive part of this experience was Miguel, who was professional, helpful, and the only team member who genuinely listened and tried to assist.

Repair service came out good but they have a limited amount of rental cars available so you have to call/come back if theres not one available when you drop off. Also they can be kinda hard to get ahold of at times over the phone, but i appreciated that the car was cleaned up before they returned it to me, and that the charging tolls etc for the rental they provided were free. Overall still recommend taking your Tesla to a certified shop over 3rd party.

I brought my model 3 here for an estimate. Rudy was not very responsive and wouldn't answer questions. I declined the repair and turns out they have already been working on the repairs without my authorization. I was very clear I only wanted an estimate. His manager Tai? said "they keep it moving" because they have a lot of cars waiting. So they don't wait for authorization before they start working on your vehicle. And now they want $3000 for storage since I dropped the vehicle off 9 days ago and work that they started that did not authorize.

Geraldo and Jasmine are great! They are very responsive, easy to talk to, and understand! I got into a car accident that wasn't my fault. Dealing with the insurance and rental was a total nightmare! But when I had to communicate with Tesla, I knew I had nothing to stress about because Geraldo and Jasmine were on my team! They really help you understand the process and do their best to work with you and the insurances. Geraldo helped me out a lot and was able to accommodate the pick up times for me based on my busy schedule. He is very responsive as well and you can tell he cares about his clients! Even when I had issues with the insurances, Geraldo gave me tips to help me out! Yes it's true that the appointments are far out, but quite honestly it's the same everywhere. So that's not really something to complain about to be honest. I personally am okay waiting longer for my appointment if I know I'm getting it done at this shop. Because I know Geraldo and Jasmine will be there for any questions or concerns I may have. I also know the work that will be done on my car is good quality work. Honestly, I had a previous bad experience here that when I made my appointment I was nervous I was going to have the same experience. However it seems like this Tesla repair shop has really upped their customer service skills, and as mentioned Geraldo and Jasmine were a huge part of that great experience! Now if I do have anything that needs to be done for my car, I know I could come to this repair shop and say with confidence I will be taken care of. Thank you for all you do team members Tesla Collision Center of Mabury Rd! And a special thanks for Geraldo and Jasmine for giving me piece of mind during a stressful time! (:

I took my car in October 21st for a repair since there was damage at the lower car door frame when making a right turn. I didn't get to pick up my car until December 16th which was almost 2 months. The wait time was pretty long and at that point I was thinking of almost giving up my car. The office people that checked me in were nice and professional, and even the one that was in charge of overseeing my repairs. But this review is mainly for the people that worked on my car. Upon pick up, my car was dirty, there were smudges everywhere and the floor at the driver side was covered in dirt. My screen protector on the display screen was scratch and I just installed that prior to bringing it in for repairs. Also, I noticed a new scratch on the lower right side of my rear bumper. I brought in my car to be repaired, not to have more damage on it. Now I will have to bring it in again to get it fixed. I've only have this car for 2 months before it needed repairs, but the amount of time it's taken for it to get repaired is now longer.

The dick is gone! Looking brand new! Thanks, Tesla Auto Body Repair!

5 stars for Bob purely based on honesty, professionalism, kindness and customer service…read more I reached out regarding damage on my salvaged VW CC after a hit-and-run from an unregistered RV. Bob gave me a realistic quote, but more importantly, he took the time to genuinely guide me instead of just trying to sell me on expensive work that didn't make financial sense for my situation. Even though I'm probably not going through the full body shop route, he still went out of his way to explain my options, educate me on the differences between body work vs PDR, referred me to someone he trusted, and even personally vouched for me and texted the guy on my behalf trying to help me out. That level of kindness and authenticity is rare these days. You can tell Bob genuinely cares about people and takes pride in doing things the right way. If I ever needed proper body shop work done in the future, he'd absolutely be one of the first people I'd call. Highly recommend.

This was actually my second time coming here, this time to repair my wife's car. Leandro and his team did a fantastic job keeping me updated the whole way. They even arranged for Enterprise to pick me up within minutes, which made things really convenient. Leandro also called during the repair to keep me posted on the progress. I got into a car accident 9/25/25 and I use Geico as my insurance. The car was received by Michael…read moreJ's 9/26/24. This repair was done by Michael J's starting October. The damage was on front right side of my car which stemmed from the bumper all the way to the passenger side door. Front window and door was not damaged and there are more details for the repair but I wanted to mention the general idea of the work done. Another thing to note is I drive a 2022 Toyota Rav4 Prime which is relevant because its a recent car and no customizations so the parts should be easily available. Michael J's is also an approved repair shop by Geico so this process should have been seamless. The summary of this negative review is this: The repair took almost 60 days to be completed from dropping my car off at Michael J's lot to driving my car off. I had to pay over an additional month for my car rental which was over $1000. Many things to note but here are some highlights: -My car was in their lot for over 2 days and when the Geico adjuster finally made it onsite, they couldn't find the car which pushed back the adjuster to come back onsite. -I receive 3 calls about signing paperwork to start the work which was difficult since this was my only car. This took 2 days and by the 2nd day, I found out they could have just emailed me instead of have me sign it in person (the first calls they did not tell me this was an option) -I get a total of 2 calls back from Michael J's -I called 6 times asking for status checks -Michael J's had to submit 5 Supplemental estimate requests to Geico I've talked with 2 random shops around San Jose with 4+ star ratings about how much time the work should have taken and just focusing on the time alone, 4-6 weeks was the turnaround time. That's with a buffer for waiting for parts and some adjustments to the estimate. I did my due diligence as well calling the adjuster FOR the repair shop because the repair shop sent in a supplemental estimate that hasn't been addressed for days, I talked with both Geico and Michael J's to see if they can help with car rental or discounts, and I asked them for status checks 1-2 times a week after the first month of not receiving my car. AFTER all of this, I sent an email to both the representative handling my repair for Michael J's and Geico clarifying what happened throughout the whole process to determine if there was someone truly at fault and if so, which party. I sent this email on December, and as of today I have not received any replies from either parties. If anyone is curious about the whole endeavor and wants to know more details, you can ping me and I can send you the email I sent out to them. Overall, the 4.8 star rating for Michael J's is misleading and I will not return to do any repairs with them and would caution anyone planning to work with them to. P.S. I don't want to leave anything out but the person in charge of my repair offered 3 free detailing work for my car to offset the cost I paid for the rental car which I don't need.
