I took my poor car here after getting rear ended a couple months ago. They took the car the same day, arranged the rental pickup and quickly started fixing the bumper. They got the car back in 4 days, actually right on schedule. The service manager (Miguel) was friendly and helpful. The bumper looks like new again. They probably could have done a better job detailing the car afterwards but it wasn't bad. Really I'm just glad to get out of the horrible rental car before the weekend. Value? I brought my car to 101 Collision Center after badly damaging the left front while backing up, and they did an outstanding job. Miguel was friendly and genuinely helpful from the start, keeping me updated and explaining the repairs clearly. The left front was restored to a like-new finish. The panel gaps, alignment, and paint match were all excellent. When I mentioned a separate minor scratch on the rear bumper, Miguel arranged for one of his painters to fix it even though it was not part of the original repair. Had the rear hatch and quarter panel replaced after being rear-ended in my 2 month old model y. The hatch is quite clearly misaligned. I was told "Tesla parts don't fit right", and to bring it in for readjustment. I did. It still is clearly busted. You can see daylight in between the bumper and hatch, and it's still clearly crooked. And giving me my car back at night when it's impossible to inspect while admitting that it isn't right is shady at best. read more

After the initial repair, I noticed some subtle cosmetic issues having to do with the paint. We had a fantastic experience here and would definitely return!!! We accidentally made some big scratches to our Tesla trying to remove tree sap with a sponge (a very stupid mistake!! Don't do it!!). We came in to get an eval and quote and they recommended we first try buffing/polishing it (cost $500-$600), and if we didn't like the results we could try repainting (would cost a couple thousand). I had my Model S repaired here recently due to hitting a raccoon. My overall experience was that they are way too busy and the quality of service goes down because if it. I reached out on May 24. I had cracked bumper and leaking radiator. Had to wait for June 7 for first inspection which was me driving to their shop and them confirming parts for a bumper and radiator within 5 minutes and sending me back home in my car. Several email ignored and almost 0 proactive updates on the car even as days dragged on. The first drop off available was July 5 and estimate to repair was 5 days. On July 26 was when I finally received the car (after calling every few days for updates and new excuses each time). The worst part was on my drive home I had the same battery overheat issue and my car dangerously slowed to a crawl in higher speed traffic. When I picked up the car I asked if they drove it and they said yes. Then after I brought it back due to the issue they said oh yes we only drove it in our parking lot though. They're taking shortcuts. On top of that, I was asked to drive it back and did not even offer a ride home. Not sure if this shop is truly great for so many people but I had really inconvenient experience and poor customer service here. Some positives here were that every call was picked up politely and every question was answered. I think the shop knows what they are doing but don't care enough to ensure everyone has a great experience. read more

Took my Volvo to get repaired here and it took over 5 months to be repaired. There were multiple issues. I had to return 6 separate times because they have zero quality checks. Every time I came back Sung had a different excuse. He even accused me of not wanting my car because I kept rejecting their poor work. Hilarious. - Rear bumper paint had bubbles (excuse was that "it was too hot so the paint didn't stick well") - Hood was still dented when repainted (excuse was "the person who did this was fired") - Multiple scratches all over the car, even on surfaces that were not painted - Window trim molding was broken - Car was returned unwashed and interior (drivers side) was extremely dirty. Seemed like the workers went in and out of the car without any part of interior covered, not even feet mats. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be weary about places that have mostly 5 star reviews as they seem to be fake most of the time. read more

Very good repair experience with 101 Collision. Took in my Model Y after getting hit in the rear passenger quarter panel. They did the whole repair in one week and the repair quality is excellent. I needed a big dent on the fender and scratches on the bumper of my Acura fixed. I shopped around a bit on Yelp and of the 12 bids I got. 101 Collision center came in among the lowest. I took my car in and thought they may do a 'bait and switch' but no, Joe stuck to his previous estimate -- based on 2 pictures I had emailed him. His partner Chris was super nice and gave me a courtesy ride home. My car got done 2 days later as promised and they even had it all washed and looking amazing. All for a lot lower than a dozen other bids I got. Highly recommend Joe, Chris and his crew of highly skilled, expert and friendly staff. I just took my car back from them on 11/10/23 and took it to another honest shop and the mechanic just visual check the trunk and do some measurements and check the paint. You can see the body didn't get fixed at all, still see the seam crack from inside the trunk on the quarter panel. Trunk, tail light and quarter panel is not aligned! The paint job is really bad, and still have the blue tape on the gas cap. I think they basically just replace a non-perfect bumper new bumper, and just paint the quarter panel poorly and call this job done! And force me to take this unfinished car back or will charge my huge storing fee! I'm looking into any legal action that can defend my right and get my car fix properly without paying it myself. I should listen to the other review saying they just want to get your insurance money and get you out of their shop asap! If your car is not fixed correctly, you cannot do anything to them and the insurance said it is between you and the shop since it is not in the insurance network shops! And the insurance said they already paid the shop for the damage, if I'm not satisfied, it is between me and the shop! You guys can judges yourself from these new pictures I added taken on the day I took the car back and see what they did to my car! They even blamed it is 30 years old car, so it is normal to be misaligned, and call me picky and blamed me not to accepting this "finished" car. I feel really bad and sad! I'm not sure what excuse they can said for this undone job now. Either they don't know how to fix it or they intentionally didn't fix it but charge the insurance more than $5k for the whole job with parts or they just "missed" it? Or they still insist they finished the job and fixed the damage correctly?! Not enough room to post the bad paint jobs they did, will do it next time. read more

Anytime the slightest inconvenience happens with my car I automatically resort to panic mode. After my car was involved in a curb accident I immediately called 101 Collision Center to see if they'd be willing to provide me with a quote for repairs. They invited me to come in the next morning and I hurried down to assess the cost of the damage to my car. To my surprise, the team didn't try to upsell me on services or repairs that I needed and instead, they went and cleaned up the scraped area free of charge. While there were still paint chips from the incident, Joe and team used some touch up paint so that it was only visible if you really tried to look for flaws. I also had some curb rash on my premium rims, and because the car was a lease, they suggested to come back closer to the end of my lease in case something else happened during the duration of the lease. I was assured when I do come back, the rims will be repaired with OEM parts and will look brand new. The team here seem really knowledgeable about luxury vehicles so I highly recommend paying them a visit for any of your auto body/collision repairs! read more

Came here a few years ago to get my driver's side door/front bumper area repaired after a car had reversed into me. The work seemed to be good and legit until recently finding out that when they "repaired" my bumper on the left side, they never put the damn screws/clips back in which is why my bumper over time has loosened up and began to separate. Took it to another shop in Santa Clara with an HONEST owner/mechanic. He fixed my bumper then asked where I had work done previously because they did a half ass job. So, what was originally covered by insurance a couple years ago ended up becoming an out-of-pocket expense because somebody that day who was working on my car was doing a half ass job. I got some really bad scratches on my passenger and driver side doors and requested quotes from body shops through Yelp. Not only was Joe the first to respond, but he also gave me the lowest quote. My wife's Model 3 was rear ended on 680. All other Tesla approved body shops had months before being able to get her car fixed. 101 Collision was able to get her in and repair the damage before any of the other shops could even do an estimate. These guys overpromise and underdeliver. I took my Tesla for a repair here. Chris does a great job to get you into the shop by promising that parts have been ordered and your car should be ready to head to repairs as soon as parts arrive in a week. And then the waiting game starts and you are continuously given newer dates for when the car will get fixed. I would look elsewhere for any Tesla repairs as Chris was very unprofessional in how we were dealt with. read more

My new Model Y had an unfortunate meeting with a random construction cone in the middle of the freeway which damaged the front bumper and destroyed some trim and a wheel liner. Called on a whim Tues morning after getting two expensive estimates with 3-5 week lead times at other Tesla Preferred centers. Not only was the car ready in two days as promised and restored to perfect condition, they fully detailed the car which had just returned from Reno through rain and snow (yeah, in late April!). Something fell off a building during a storm and crushed my new Tesla Model Y with only 7100 miles on it. The team at 101 Collision Center was great every step of the way. They fit me in to take photos right away so they could order parts, kept me informed of the status of the parts and when to bring it in to be worked on. The damage was so severe it ended up being totaled after the extensive repairs needed. They let me grab all my stuff out of the car before it was released to the wrecking year and even helped me remove some after market mud guards I had installed. My car was pretty banged up since last year and since I didn't have much money to get it fixed right away-- plus covid19 so it took a while for me to finally get to a body shop and fix it. The insurance didn't pay for it coz I have a no name insurance while the one that hit me had geico and well my insurance settled coz they're cowards. ANYWHO-- so I took the poor baby here and braved myself for the cost actually. I knew it's going to be expensive out of pocket so I'm not even going to try and complain. Trust me-- this place doesn't need any more karens. When I got the estimate, I just said let's just do it. They even fixed the side dents but their main focus was the front. This place is literally AMAZING. Super prompt responses! They had really reasonable (dare I say CHEAP) estimates and most of all, the repair was amazing. I had dented my rear bumper down to the metal bar and somehow they got it looking brand spanking NEW. My car is also a tri-coat of paint and they regained that pearly white finish. The repair only took 4 days and that's with me dropping off during Memorial Day weekend. Service was exceptional! They were super nice and friendly (I think Sung helped me when I came). I left my glasses in the car and he brought them out to me before I even left the place. Joe (I think) rang me up and he was also really nice and gave me advice on washing my car (aka not washing too often to preserve the clear coat). My Tesla Y was hit on the side by a small landslide crushing several side panels and damaging a rim. I did not have an appointment and brought the car in to get assessed. I met with Joe, who was very busy, but took the time to work with me without an appointment. He took photos, explained how Tesla insurance works, and explained their process. This body repair shop is a Tesla preferred body repair location. Throughout the repair, Joe was great always being available to answer my questions and kept me updated on the progress. I have not had the best of luck with car damage repairs. This was a 5 out of 5 experience. The car was returned with a perfect repair. They also cleaned the car's exterior. Never in a million years I think I would need to go find a body shop. Never got in a accident before and my first one was a hit and run and I wasn't even there so I got pretty mad. This happen about a month ago and was quick to get an estimate from Geico. But the idiot who did the estimate at caliber collision Milpitas said one of the damage was not part of the hit and run. So I was fighting them for weeks before I got approve for everything to be fix. During that time of me going back and forth with Geico I was looking at two shop to see if they could fix the truck. Both got great reviews and work on all type of cars/trucks. But I decide to go with 101 CC. When I drop of the truck to Joe he went over everything with me from the estimate and what going to be fix to what will be new on the truck and should be 100% like new when it is done. Pick up the truck and Chris ask me how you like it and go over detail with me a little and that they used OEM on everything because they did not like the fit from aftermarket and I pay then left in about 10 min. I don't know how I pick 101 CC between the other shop but glad I did because from the beginning to picking up the truck everything was smooth and easy.
