I was given an estimate $5000 on phone . I towed the car there to fix there. After the car was delivered there the estimate was increased 2.5 times to $11,500. So I decided to tow my car from their lot within 15 hours . Then the business demanded that I pay the storage fee that was not disclosed anytime before. Not only that they then proceeded to charge me The storage charges for 2 calendar days even though the car was not on their premises for 15 hours. They also proceeded to charge me 4 % credit card surcharge, again not disclosed unless I paid them via Zelle. Also they overcharged me $300 to tow my car when I going market rate is $130. MY car was held hostage at their lot unless I pay the $800 fraudulent charges with storage charges added daily. read more

I got hit and run about 2-3 weeks ago. Going through insurances is always so frustrating. Thankfully i found out who it was and was able to provide info to my insurance. I called Honda and they recommended me with Reliance Collision Center where I was treated with so much understanding and compassion since i got there. Tracey was amazing !! My insurance tried to pushed so much on getting after market parts. I was very upset because i just got my car from dealer a year ago- technically my car is new. Although my insurance was getting reimbursed, they continued pushing for aftermarket. Tracey was amazing and was able to get me ALL except one little piece (not available) OEM. I swear this place is soo good. Also on prior experience with a different car- color matching was also something i would worry, but with them my white pearl color is perfect!!! I had a big project that needed to be done on my car and Reliance Collision Center was able to help me. I got the pleasure working with both Tracy and Tony. For auto customization, I needed my Mugen front bumper, aftermarket aggressive hood, Mugen side skirts, and Mugen rear lip all painted and installed. For repair, I needed to get both fenders replaced and painted, left door ding fixed, and rear bumper scuff repaired. They did all that without any issues. Communication: 5/5 The communication was top-notch and excellent. Tracy answered when I called for a quote and she was very nice as well as genuine to help. It was my first time auto customizing my car and her explanation was helpful. When the shop was working on my car, she always respond to my text in a timely manner. The thing that I like the most is that she would text me update pictures of my car. It gave me sense of assurance that I left my car in good hands. Work done: 5/5 Boy do they do great work! All the customization and repairs matched with my existing paint perfectly. I basically got the whole front end of the car done and the color just blend into the body. They also did an excellent job on modifying a few things so that my parts fit. Turnaround time: 5/5 The whole process starting from the time they picked up my parts and car to getting a text that my car is ready to be picked up was 2 weeks. For all the work that I needed to get done, that was pretty fast and efficient. This was excellent since I was planning on entering my car for a car show next month. My Tesla model x came here for a repair due to an accident. They remove the entire back bumper and replaced it w a new one. When we got it back there were gaps in both side of the bumper. They said it was a Tesla build defect. They said they will repair it for an additional cost. There were no gaps defect prior to the accident and now there are two gaps. You would think that if they removed the entire bumper to replace it w a new one that it it be like it was.. no gaps. Now we have to take it to another tesla certified auto shop for repair and possible have to pay it w our own money. This is not acceptable and very very bad business practice. Who would buy a tesla w gaps in the seam of the bumper. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

They will milk your insurance and put in all after market parts. Karma will eventually come back to them. They always leave the seat belts last so they can scam insurance again. Noticed a few people came in for the same problem after they got their car back. "Seat belts problem". Plenty other places to take your car. Matter of fact go to Caliber Collision. I found this review sitting in my draft box from long ago. I think it is worth posting; hopefully, things have improved since this incident. So, let me start off by saying that the technicians did an excellent job with repairing and cleaning my car. Also, Lisa always kept me updated on the progress of repairs, as well as Here's the not so good that totally irked me: 1) The technicians mistook my plastic bag of trash hanging on my gear handle as personal belongings. They mixed my "actual" personal belongings that I kept in the car compartments (pens, lipstick, gum, rosary, notepaper, business cards, and so on- too many to list) in with the trash. Really?? At first I thought some of my things were missing until I looked in the trash and found them mixed in with my kids' snot-filled tissues, rotten apple cores, you name it. You'd think they would have had a bit more common sense before dumping my personal items into the trash. 2) I had 2 separate claims. My Allstate agent said that Reliance "charged Allstate a lot" and could have easily waived one of my deductibles. Not so, but they did give a discount. 3) My car was sitting in their body shop for one month. When I picked it up, the "check engine" light went on. I took the car to my regular dealership to get it checked out since it was due for its 6-month maintenance and tire alignment anyway. They could have called me sooner to let me know the car was ready! I don't recall when I had my car repaired, but felt I should still post the review. read more

My van sustained comprehensive damage due to snow chains. I was reluctant to go with my insurance's recommendation and sought RCC (540 Parrot Drive, in front of Senter Rd, Costco). I am sure glad I went with them Tony, Tracy and the crew were fabulous at their work. They took pride in making in their work and that you were well informed of the process! This was new to me. The RELIANCE COLLISION CENTER auto body at 540 Parrot St San Jose CA 95112 is BAD auto body service. The reason I said that because they told me and my insurance that they're going to change and change a new bumper on my car and the paint is lifetime warranty but after a month when I wash my car the paint on the replaced bumper is rack so found out that they tried to fix the old bumper instead change the new one. I took my car back to them 2 times, but every time, the short lady who owned that auto body shop tried to ignore me, so I gave up and took my car to another shop. I gotta say...this was the BEST recommendation from Alum Rock Auto Care, a company I have trusted with my car since my first car over 20 years ago. Brian and Adam recommended Reliance and I knew it was going to be my spot to get this diffuser installed. I called and asked for Tracy, she was honest, patient and right on the money. She knows her stuff. She gave me an honest quote and it was VERY reasonable. She did let me know that it would be 24-36 hours to pick the car back up, which was ok, I had the next couple of days off since I was getting vaccinated. I paid for the bumper part and they painted the new bumper and then called me when the bumper was ready to be installed. They had my vehicle for 3 hours today and did a fantastic job. AllState's recommended body shops were very busy on Nov, 2022. I was required to waiting at least 3 months for fixing my car. "Reliance" was recommended by my client; thus, I had no hesitate to try. "Reliance" seemed one-man-operate business. Tracy, the manager, was the only one could speak fluent english, and she seemed not only handling paper work but also "handy work" Tracy told me that my car was served when I arrived to her shop. Of course, my simple thought was that it was my client's loved shop, it might give me more flexible and nice offers. Once I arrived in, Tracy wanted me to pay the insurance deductible payment, I shocked but paid it without asking. Honestly saying, she knew what the charges she expected for. The payment of the repairing work was much higher than my AllState's partnership shops did. The repairing work of this shop was just fair, of course, it was far from the original ! Unfortunately, my rental car's small window got broken by the burglary again. The rental car shop wanted us to let them check and quote how much was the cost. Indeed, I could assume the cost would be much higher than I asked for Reliance to do so. Actually, I had already found when I got the part and how much it was. However, the rental shop required not me to replace it, thus, I gave "Reliance" did it to me. The funny was Tracy's tone looked like she gave me a great help. Actually, the part was at $35 only and I was asking to pay $105. Followed her lady helper repeated to me over and over again by her reluctant broken English, she said, "Did you pick up your car today?'' I said at least 3 times, I only had one parking spot , I could not pick up my car on that day because the rental car needed to be fixed. The worst was whatever I explained to Tracy's helper, she seemed she did not understand. Perhaps her helper wanted to finish her job only whatever the client situation was! After 4 days, the part arrived and I went to "Reliance" again. At that moment, the shop had the same lady who spoke broken English only. She wanted the rental car being fixed first before I picked my belonging back to my own car. Actually, my initial plan was that I was able to shorter my time for handling both cars at the same time. However, I had no other option at that moment! Boil! On next day, I found my car's the rain receiver which was a black plastic rim was broken. It was on the other side of my car door and was not required to be fixed but needed to be checked how was the condition doing of the burglary. My humble requirement was given to "Reliance" staff, Tracy and her inspector at least two times. Afterward, I called Tracy and drove back to "Reliance" asking what had happened of my car? As I mentioned on the above, Tracy seemed she was also in charge "handy work" !! She said she did nothing on the broken park , even she did not touch but "only used visual check my car door", how professional she was in. She emphasized my car was old! Sarcastically, my car was the first time to be repaired and I just paid off my leasing payment only. Concluded that Reliance Collision Center located at 540 Parrott St which is Tracy's the second auto body shop, all she needs is more businesses!! read more
