What do I say :) delivery was so simple in this showroom. You go and accept your delivery (in the app) and it takes you to ur car . Pick up the docs in the car , sign it and drive home ur Tesla ... it was amazing to see everything so much automated . No hassles dealing with sales rep and waiting for hours to get ur car delivered .. The only suggestion I would have is - probably have someone who can walk around asking people if they need help. There is absolutely no staff who smiles or asks people if he can help. Customers are confused as to what to do , and sometimes they wait in line for no reason. Also, after delivery , I wish there can be someone who can tell the basics in the car . Not everyone would have driven a Tesla before . Basic things like charging / and going thro the dashboard would help. Also , there is no water/coffee etc for customers. I feel the customer service could improve vastly ...

I had an outstanding experience at the Tesla dealership in Springfield. I scheduled a test drive thru the Tesla app and our car was ready when we arrived. The day we tested the car it was a downpour and the sales associate came outside with us to show us the feature of the Model Y while get soaked. He also explained to me how the day of pick up works. I picked up my vehicle 2 weeks later and been loving it since. I have been referring all my friends and family to Tesla of Springfield. If looking into purchasing a Tesla go to this dealership you will not regret. Also before purchasing vehicle use my referral code and get 3 months of full self driving on top of the month free that Elon just put out. Referral code is Https://ts.la/robert965337

Back to follow up. Still never heard back from the Manager Victor here. Went to the Tesla location in Paramus and they completely fixed our trunk. Apparently this location (springfield) did a crap job. Never needed to go to a collision location in the first place. Wish I could give this place ZERO stars. If you're reading this, don't bother coming to this location. Go to Paramus- better location, better employees, fast and efficient service!

A lie telling me my car was checked in when it was apparently not..

9/27/24: Took a day off from work to do basic maintenance. Logged on to the app and followed instructions to drop the car off. Waited two hours then was told they were not going to get me in and I have to reschedule for next month. Apparently I was supposed to check in with a human even though the app clearly stated they were aware it was there. Pic as evidence for my confusion. Rather than work me in after I waited patiently for three hours, I was told I had to reschedule. It's taking two months plus to get an appointment and I'm not confident they'll get it right next time. Remember it's always the customers fault for their lack of organization. I cannot say enough about how awful this place is. As fun as the car is to own, I will never buy another one. They are not worth the frustration when they have issues and there is no customer support to help you. If zero stars was an option...

I enjoyed the test drive of a tesla 3 today. I had never been in a Tesla car, so I signed up for a test drive. Website sign-up was easy. Once registered, I went to the location where all Tesla cars were getting delivered or test driven. Once I got into the building. I waited in line to get service. The service guy walked me to a car and opened the car and gave me a card key, and told me some critical information about the turn signal and how to change gears. The controls in the vehicle were very user-friendly. And he left to let me drive alone. He did not even come with me. That was weird, I was hoping I could ask a dozen questions about the car while test driving, so I drove around for about 15 minutes to return the vehicle. I gave the card key back. There was no pushy salesperson. I asked a couple of things about a car and purchase info (also tax incentives). Then I just walked out of the building, no pressure. It was so lovely. If I decide to buy the next car, I will look at Tesla. One thing I was a little annoyed with or did not like driving the car was it stopped soon as I let off the gas and pushed to go again, no coasting. I thought that was a little weird.

Can see why people would have a difficult time. The website when ordering online was not the greatest and the link to make an apportionment didn't work so I was assigned a day/time which was actually for the best since it was a quiet time and day and route 22 can be a mess, especially making two quick u-turns (Yikes) You do need to go through the checklist if ordering online and make sure you have everything filled out and photos of license, insurance, etc before so most of the paperwork is done. However, Stephanie who was my delivery specialist was great and really helpful. Took time to explain things and cared. There is hope the experience isn't always terrible seeing from other reviews!

This is Tesla's new service center where they service cars, they have a small show room and also perform deliveries of new cars. There are a few chargers (NEMA-1450) in the front parking lot although they are not superchargers. I recently purchased a new Model X and Tesla set me up with Springfield location for the pick up. Upon entering the staff was extremely friendly and seemed genuinely excited to show off the features of the cars. After that one of the sales guys walked me through some paperwork to sign off and handed us our keys. The entire process took about 30 minutes to complete and we were on our way. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Also the most amazing car ever. Every car service dealership should learn how to do fast and efficient service from Tesla!

This is a seat that is not in any way attached to the car.

Steve, on the other hand, was completely trustworthy, transparent, and easily the best salesperson I've ever dealt with. It was the last day of the month so it was clearly one of their busiest day but it was service with a smile! By the time I finished up meeting with finance, it was about 11:00 PM. Steve should have headed home since my business with him was done, but he stayed until the very end just to shake my hand and say congratulations. That kind of dedication and awesome experience will definitely be remembered. I live about 3 hours away, but I will happily make that drive again to buy my next car here if Steve is still around. I'll also be sending all my family and friends in the tri-state area his way. Steve is a class act. If you are considering a BMW, go see him in Springfield, NJ!

They were fine for the routine stuff, but something that required a bit more legwork...not so much. I've had a rattle in my headliner for just about a year now, and my previous dealership had my car for a combined 3 weeks over the course of 2025 trying to fix it. I get it, it's hard to pinpoint sometimes, but after 3 videos and 2 road tests with the shop foreman all confirming the noise, the latest visit this past Fall (9 days) resulted in a "it's coming from the passenger seat and we need to order a part that's on backorder" - needless to say, I gave up, and said magical part has yet to materialize. I took a few months off from this adventure, and brought my car to Springfield in December. A simple 7-minute drive with the foreman confirmed the noise, its origination point, and it was fixed within 3 days. I got a loaner no problem, and I now have my car back less a noise that was driving me nuts every time I hit a bump. And Jersey City has a lot of bumps. This is a very long winded way of saying they clearly pay attention to the big and the small, and the hunt for the elusive headliner rattle proved no match for the team. Cherry on top, the drive to Springfield vs. my old dealership is a lot better anyways.

We agreed to terms in writing ($4,000 down, $389/month), I signed the paperwork, they ran my credit, I set up insurance, and they charged my debit card about $4,800. Only *after* all that did they try to change the deal and demand more money, effectively holding the car and my money hostage unless I paid extra. When I refused, a manager spoke to me in a condescending way ("are you capable of having a gentleman's conversation?"), another salesperson got aggressive and told me to "get the fuck out," and another mocked me saying I couldn't afford the insurance. They never gave me copies of anything I signed. Was I angry, and shout, absolutely. 4 hours of my time to purchase a car, for them to hold it hostage and try to con me into paying more and refusing to honor THE SIGNED AGREEMENT. I ended up calling the police; only then did an officer go inside and come back with a refund receipt for my $4,800. That is the only document I ever received. I have reported this dealership to the NJ MVC and the BBB regarding their conduct and unethical behavior. Executive Leadership at Acura Corporate has been made aware of the situation as well. This was the most blatantly unethical, hostile dealership experience I've ever had. I will never do business here again and strongly warn others to stay away. Do NOT go here, do NOT fall into their scams. Their GSM is a disgusting human being as well as the sales team I dealt with. They know who they are. I will not stop following up with everyone I have put complaints into until this is addressed properly.

In today's review, the "Typical" are things Planet Honda did, but seem typical of car dealers in…read moregeneral. The Good: 1. Great selection. Largest used car inventory I've ever seen. 2. Cars appear* to have good prices. You'll see why I have an asterisk on that later. 3. The car we went to see was in great condition. 4. Salesman (Luna) is very pleasant, friendly, and professional. 5. After negotiation were complete, everything they stated in terms of the 'out-the-door' price was as agreed upon and the finance rate was accurate. 6. As a Honda certified car, the car came with new tires. 7. They washed the car for us and provided a full tank of gas. The Bad: 1. Their website states "Final Sale Price (inc $999 Doc. Fee)" for each car. But that's not true. They add in mandatory fees, referred to as optional, but you don't have a choice: - Appearance Package: Door edge guards and pinstriping. Value: approx $25 retail. Planet Honda price: $995. On our car it was obviously old pinstriping, with small sections missing. The door edge guards were on the car so long they showed sun fading. - Nitrogen Tire Protection: $199. Tire manufacturers give a road hazard warranty. Costco gives nitrogen fill for free. Where's the value? - Safe and Secure Package - $389 2-yr key replacement and wheel locks. What's the likelihood of a key fob going bad in 2-yrs? Better to save the fee and buy one if you need it. I've had key fobs last the life of the car and I've never lost or broken one. Wheel locks are ~$52 from Honda on-line. - $1500 Return customer discount. This was "already credited" to the Final Sale Price. So if you didn't buy a car there in the last 2-years, your price is goes up by $1500. Surprise! 2. We were made to wait hours for the car to be detailed. "Detailing" has a very specific meaning. Beyond washing, it includes clay barring to remove contaminants in the paint, waxing, deep cleaning the interior, restoring painted surfaces, etc. Planet Honda washed our car and used a lot of Armor All on the tires. That's it. The paint looked good but felt rough. After "detailing", we found French fries, drinking straw covers, a plastic spoon, a couple of toy pieces, a cigarette tip, a broken ear bud, and sticky coins between the back seats. There were light stains on the seats. And once the perfumed smell of cleaner faded, I could start smelling the cigarette smoke from the last owner. A real detailing would have taken care of this. Based on our experience at another Honda dealer, this would have been taken care of before we took the car. Not Planet Honda. Instead, we were made to sign a document that stated we accept the car as is. 3. It took 2 1/2 hours before we could go in to see the finance guy who then tried to sell us on overpriced warranty coverage. More on that under "The Typical" section. 4. 8 1/2 hours at the dealership. 4 hours in negotiations. The biggest time wasters: The manager raising the price on the car by $2,000 after we had already negotiated close to where we wanted to be. We began to walk out, and they started negotiating again. Next, they wanted us to sign paperwork agreeing to finance without telling us what the interest rate would be. They claimed they couldn't find out because their finance guy was in the other building even though they already pulled our credit. When we began to leave again, they immediately produced a printout that showed the interest rates for various credit ratings. Another 30 minutes wasted. 5. They refused to give us anything in writing even though we had agreed to the deal but needed the final contract so we can see that it reflected what we expected. The Typical 1. $999 documentary fee. A pure profit play all dealers use, and Planet Honda is among the highest. 2. Adding hidden nonsense fees to their "final advertised price". These extra fees were added after we agreed to terms. On the plus side, they didn't separately add in the expenses needed to bring the car up to the Honda certified standards like other dealers. 3. Finance pushed a $4,000++ warranty for the same 5-yrs as the CPO coverage. I've had multiple GM cars and one Honda over the past 30+ yrs, drove all over 200,000 miles and never spent that much in maintenance or repairs over the lifetime of each car. Bottom line: The overall experience was draining. Closing the deal shouldn't take 8 hrs, especially when we told them we wanted the car within the first 30 mins. The people are pleasant, but we almost walked out twice because they were playing games. Their trustworthiness leaves a lot to be desired because they wouldn't give us anything in writing (other than hand scribbled numbers that were all over the place) to look at while we were sitting in the dealership. In the end, the price we walked away with was fair in comparison to other cars we've seen and we're happy with the car. Unfortunately, I can't say there was any relationship built that day and I don't feel any loyalty to that dealership.

READ THIS - SAVE $5k @ PLANET HONDA…read more This is for certified pre-owned cars, though I imagine it's the same with brand new. I want to write this not to dissuade anyone from getting these optional packages, but to know what they are and that they have the option to get rid of them. Short Version: Planet Honda will try to preload a lot of optional fees but say it like it's mandatory. When you find an e-price online, they legally cannot charge you over that amount plus the DMV fees and NJ sales tax. Save the webpage where you found the price and screenshot it, they might try to alter the price later. The optional packages that they can't force you to take: 1. Cilajet - $1,449 (An optional paint sealant and interior fabric coating. Dealerships routinely claim this spray/coating was already pre-applied to the vehicle so it can't be undone--classic bait-and-switch tactics.) 2. Safe and Secure - $399 (ETCH or security marking intended as a theft-deterrent measure. Most of the time, the cars already have this pre-etched onto the windows/parts before you arrive--another bait-and-switch tactic.) 3. Vehicle Replacement - $2,349 (An optional supplemental financial coverage/GAP-style plan in case of a total loss. Unlike physical add-ons, this is purely a financial paper policy that they try to sneak into your contract automatically.) 4. Nitrogen - $199 (A fee for filling tires with nitrogen air rather than standard air. Dealers prep the cars on the lot by pre-filling the tires with nitrogen and putting on green valve caps so they can claim it's already done.) 5. Protection Package - $995 (This is the door guards and a pinstripe. What's funny is this is already installed so it should be a freebie to you.) Do not let them intimidate you. Save your money! The only optional package I'd recommend that they do offer is HondaCare which is for about $800 you get oil changes for 6 years or the first 72k miles. The numbers will change depending on your deal. They are crooks. I am not sure if this is what other dealerships do, but they are making about 5k over the e-price on every vehicle, which to me is stealing. I have filed with the Department of Consumer Affairs to end this malpractice. Not only are they sneaking in all these prices, but they are also stealing from other dealerships by getting you into their doors and thinking it is a better deal than what other places have to offer. In short, they aren't cheaper. The other dealerships show the true price I imagine. I hope you save some time and money! We, as a people, deserve better! BONUS TIP: If you buy a car from here, they will send you a survey after. If you fill this out and put a low score, the salesmen commission will be wiped out for the month. I'd only recommend this route if you encounter a shark.

One of them is buying a safe and reliable car at a price point we could comfortably afford. I actually did a lot of research through CarFax over the summer to make sure I got the biggest bang for my buck as I knew I needed a vehicle to last as long as possible. Robert Colon made my car buying experience easy and fun from the moment I called him to ask about the 2022 GMC Acadia Denali to the close of the sale. He was able to work within my budget and I really appreciated not feeling like there was any high pressure tactics. He was very kind and respectful and was very quick with finalizing the deal making it as easy as possible. Lou in financing was just as awesome too. Didn't try to upsell me to purchase any additional services/warranties that were not necessary and got me out the door quickly. They also was able to take all of the stress away by registering/titling the vehicle in Alaska for me. The coolest thing too was that although I bought a used GMC from a Subaru dealership (it was a trade in), they did all of the little things that a person buying a brand new car gets down to the group picture with the big red ribbon on the vehicle (which I declined). I cannot say enough good things about Open Road Subaru, their vehicles, and customer service. If you're looking for a relaxing and accommodating car buying experience, vehicles that they stand by (even non-Subaru vehicles), and prices that seriously can't be beat go to Open Road Subaru and tell Robert and Lou I said, "Hi"!
