0 Stars, STAY FAR AWAY. Disgusting employees. On May 30, 2026, I came in ready to lease a 2026 Acura ADX. We agreed to terms in writing ($4,000 down, $389/month), I signed the paperwork, they ran my credit, I set up insurance, and they charged my debit card about $4,800. Only *after* all that did they try to change the deal and demand more money, effectively holding the car and my money hostage unless I paid extra. When I refused, a manager spoke to me in a condescending way ("are you capable of having a gentleman's conversation?"), another salesperson got aggressive and told me to "get the fuck out," and another mocked me saying I couldn't afford the insurance. They never gave me copies of anything I signed. Was I angry, and shout, absolutely. 4 hours of my time to purchase a car, for them to hold it hostage and try to con me into paying more and refusing to honor THE SIGNED AGREEMENT. I ended up calling the police; only then did an officer go inside and come back with a refund receipt for my $4,800. That is the only document I ever received. I have reported this dealership to the NJ MVC and the BBB regarding their conduct and unethical behavior. Executive Leadership at Acura Corporate has been made aware of the situation as well. This was the most blatantly unethical, hostile dealership experience I've ever had. I will never do business here again and strongly warn others to stay away. Do NOT go here, do NOT fall into their scams. Their GSM is a disgusting human being as well as the sales team I dealt with. They know who they are. I would not recommend Springfield Acura based on my repeated experiences with one particular employee, Franklin. Every time I come to this dealership, I have an issue with him. I do not know him personally, yet his nonchalant and dismissive attitude has been consistent and extremely off-putting. Most recently, I came in for an oil change. I have a Certified Pre-Owned Acura warranty that provides one year of free oil changes at any Acura dealership, with the second year requiring service at Clinton Acura where I purchased my car. Franklin said you can take your car there if you want to get my oil change. I said I'm here now and will pay he proceeded to tell me the price like I didn't have the money to pay for the service, his attitude remained dismissive. This is not the first time this has happened. In December, my vehicle was towed to Springfield Acura under warranty. At that time, Franklin told me I could not use my warranty because I did not purchase my car from their dealership. That was completely false. My warranty is through All State , which Acura dealerships do accept. His misinformation caused unnecessary stress. After multiple negative interactions, I made it clear this would be my last time coming to Springfield Acura. I will not tolerate being spoken to dismissively or given incorrect information. No customer should feel disrespected when seeking service they are entitled to receive. I will be taking my business elsewhere and would advise others to do the same. I purchased a 2020 Acura MDX from Acura of Springfield on March 26, 2025, under the impression that it was a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. However, I later learned that the certification was not completed until May 1--more than a month after the sale and delivery. This means the car was sold as CPO when it was not officially certified, which is misleading and unacceptable. I paid a premium for CPO benefits that are supposed to be in place before taking delivery, including the 182-point inspection and extended warranty. I also had to follow up multiple times to get basic items like the second key fob and floor mats. A malfunctioning side mirror, which should have been addressed during inspection, was also overlooked. I reached out multiple times by email, letter, and phone with no formal response. Even after Acura corporate acknowledged the issue and tried to help, the dealership's sales management team never followed up. Very disappointing experience overall. I expected more professionalism and accountability--especially when it involves trust and safety. I hope others ask detailed questions before assuming a vehicle is truly CPO. read more

Please help, I purchased a 2022 Acura MDX from Acura of Springfield in April 2025, under the impression that it was a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. However, in July 2025, the car stated leaking gas and I took the car back to Springfield Acura. My car is under factory warranty and extended warranty. The warranty covers a defective fuel tank. To my surprise, they did not honor my warranty and came up with an excuse that your car was vandalized. They told me you need to get in touch with your auto insurance. I did and they came to determination that the car was not vandalized, and this was a pre-existing condition when they sold the car to you. Now Springfield Acura is asking me to pay for their lack of honesty. They put me through so much trouble and pain to the point that I got sick. Why should I pay for the car that is fully under warranty? How am I going to come up with a couple of thousand dollars? Mr. C, I need your help. read more

The gentleman could not find my sons correct information found him under another name which showed that the vehicle was purchased three years ago sell him $400 worth of oil change tire rotation, and transmission oil change when my was only coming here for his first oil change. I tried to get into the conversation to explain to him that something wrong he immediately answered back to me that he was talking to my son not to me very rude. Very bad customer service. Went to Springfield Acura to attempt to purchase a vehicle. Sales was extremely disorganized. Couldnt find keys, etc. Once I was finally able to look at the car and attempted to sit down and run prices, it was a horrible experience. When asking about current interest rate promotions I was told "how would we know we arent the bank". When looking to speak to a manager, we waited, and then eventually the sales person came out and said "the manager doesnt want to speak with you, you can go". I was stunned and appalled and absolutely could not believe the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness that occured at that dealership. As a previous customer who had a terrific experience with prior car purchases there I was appaled at the quality of sales staff and management this time and it was honestly disgusting to be spoken to the way we were when trying to spend tens of thousands on a car. My son ordered a new ADX from Springfield, there was a delay in getting it and so I decided to try and sort things out for him. My contact at the dealership was Samantha Hunter who later brought in Anthony Bruce to assist. I've been buying and leasing cars for myself and business for the past 35 years and usually I dread dealing with this. Well sometimes you find out there are some great people out there to deal with. Samantha was there every step of the way, keeping in constant contact, making sure I was kept in the loop and then putting Anthony inside the situation to move it along. They did everything possible, in fact moving faster and finding the exact car my son wanted, got it from another dealer and had it delivered last night. It felt like they were dedicated to nothing but making us happy and they did. My son said even the pickup was quick, no last minute bumps that often happen with dealers and the car is beautiful. This kind of deal makes you want to go back. These two people are truly dedicated, hard working, honest and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an Acura. Am I the only one who calls but can never get anyone on the phone? The process of buying the car was perfect, my sales person was awesome. Once that process is over and you need service or anything from the dealership, good luck on getting help or actually speaking to anyone other than the receptionist. So to sum it all up, if you need the receptionist, or sales person T.D or D.F the service person your in good hands. Anyone else, you'll never get anywhere and that's including the manager. Had a 9:15 a.m appointment for a recalled part. After sitting in the waiting room for over three hours I was told that they didn't even start on my car because I never "checked in" with the front desk. As a new customer how am I supposed to know the procedure? The valet took my car, handed me paperwork, and I proceeded into the building. So if I had a standing appointment, is anyone wondering why I didn't show up?? And you take my car for over three hours and not wonder "whose car is this?" I came back to Springfield Acura because of Samantha Hunter their internet rep. She was incredible, nice and honest with me. She knows how to treat customers. I have had Acura's for over 20 years. This time I leased a MDX. She gave me the price and I told her "not a penny more" she said correct. Went to Pick up my car and the dealer manager said, you have to pay $411 for registration. I said no. Than he said I want another $5 more per month on the lease, I said no. Not a penny more is what I came in for. They finally said ok. Samantha got me to come in and get a car and their head manager was trying to drive me out. Acura should replace the dealer manager with the Internet rep Samantha Hunter. Matt has a super high standard of customer service and always is a pleasure to deal with . Some times you can have a trust issue with an advisor trying to up sell you and so on . I don't feel pressure by Matt , but he always explains what they find and let's me make the calls. Now to the lounge area come on people these chairs are beyond there life my but Hurts sitting on them . And Cheap eats ! Possibly one of the worst dealership experiences of my life. I have never dealt with someone so rude and unprofessional in my life before. And there is only one person to blame, David. A sales manager there at Springfield Acura. I called in early in the day requesting some info on an RDX. I spoke with someone named Carl and after discussing some payment details, he pushed me forward to his manager, David. I told him what I expected to pay and what another Acura dealer had offered. David, a manager and a LEADER at Springfield Acura guaranteed me he won't only meet me at that competitors price- but will beat it. When I arrived at the dealership I was met with Patrick who told me David is busy and that he would be the assigned sales rep anyway so that he can push the paperwork through. After speaking to Patrick I was at complete distress realizing that David has been misleading me this entire time and is a LIAR and purposed deceived me asking me to come in to force me into making a deal. I was transparent and clear with him from the start. I specifically requested he too be transparent with me and that I had a specific budget. This was my SECOND Acura in 2 months and I did not want to BS. He wasted my entire evening at the dealership to not just push me away, but not even have the common decency to come out and meet me. Are you serious? I drove almost 1 hour away and you can't come out and apologize for wasting my time because you deliberately lied to me and mislead me? This level of professional is unprecedented, even for a damn dealer. He was shady, rude and dishonest the entire time I was there. Oh and not to mention- Patrick had 0 idea what was going on and what we had already discussed. Resulting in an extended waiting period and an ever longer waste of time. I don't understand what would have been the big deal had he just told me; "sorry I can't make that deal as we'd be discounting too much". Like really? I have leased over 8 vehicles between Richard Passananti and another salesman by the name of Leo Daniels (rest in peace) who has since passed. All of my experiences with Leo & Richard have been or were professional, experienced, informative, honest and easy going. So I just leased my latest new vehicle from Springfield Acura, a 2023 MDX Tech on 4/25/2023. The entire experience was a pleasure up until the day came to pick up my new vehicle. At some point in my pick up experience a finance manager by the name of Manny Lazo (who by the way has no business cards - since I asked I guess... how unprofessional) but this man is a straight up liar. STAY CLEAR OF MANNY LAZO if you shop at Springfield Acura. I had shopped around at various Acura dealerships because even though Richard Passananti is an amazing salesman, I am a business women, an investor and this current car market is bonkers and super expensive post the COVID pandemic - so I wanted to ensure that I had the best deal. But back to Manny Lazo. MANNY LAZO LIKES TO PLAY THE "BAIT & SWITCH" SALES TACTIC, which is a form of fraud and seems to happen a lot in the automobile industry. He knowingly and intentionally gave me fraudulent data stating that my credit tier was MUCH LOWER than it really was. Manny lied and stated that I was tier 5 when 2 other dealerships had already proven & confirmed that I was a tier 2/3. Even my salesman Richard P, of Springfield Acura, had confirmed my credit score and credit tier level the Thursday prior, April 20th, 2023 - during my initial visit, in which my credit was ran, the monthly payment was negotiated and agreed upon by both parties, Acura and I, and my car delivery date, which was 5 days after my initial visit, April 25th, 2023. Manny Lazo, the finance manager, swept in on the transaction at the last minute in hopes that his "unfortunate news/my lower credit tier" was going result in an increase in my monthly car payment of "no more than $25 more per month" If Manny's information was accurate I would have just rolled with the punches and accepted the "new information" on the day of pick up. But what Manny did not know was that I was texting and communicating with another Acura dealership getting verification that proved otherwise, simultaneously while he was feeding me this crap. I am a smart shopper so I was one step ahead of him. After I informed Manny of this - my credit tier magically went from a 5 to a "3" within 10 minutes max - but still not back to the 2 that all other dealerships stated that I fell into not a tier "3". I can't make this stuff up. Manny's involvement in the deal was SOOOOOOOOOO SHADY!!!! I have NEVER had an experience with a finance manager in 27 years, like I did with Manny. And just to think - before he knew that I was more knowledgeable than he thought I was... he was actually trying to challenge me regarding the inaccuracy of the credit tier information and then attempted to proceed on to see what additional accessories options/plans I may be interested in. lol... is he crazy? I was pissed, close to walking away from the deal, very very very very offended that he would challenge my intelligence the way he did. I just wanted to get out of that dealership. Manny straight up lied, making a good day go from good to bad and a day in which I should have been celebrating go from happy to sad. Interacting with Manny killed the entire vibe. I just thank God for additional info and outside support from the other Acura dealerships because providing fraudulent & invalid credit tier information to potential customers in an attempt to get a higher monthly payment out of them is not cool... IT'S FRAUD & UNETHICAL so BEWARE when interacting with Manny Lazo!!! Richard Passananti & the GM, Bill Ronnow worked effortlessly to put together an amazing deal for me. Which I was truly thankful for. But Manny Lazo attempted to turn a great experience into a horrible experience after dealing with him. Best price, courteous folks - Mar 2019 I primarily interacted with Joseph Tyson who is Client Care Manager at the dealership; he gave the best offer for RDX SH-AWD with Tech package among all the dealerships in NJ. It was good to that extent that all I had to do was go down there and get the car. I had done my homework of reading forums on the net on best or good price; had already did a test drive; all I wanted now, is the car. In dealership; I was taken care by Carlos, and he was patient enough to go through the technology demo & options in this car not once but twice with us. AND on top of it, he followed up personally after we took the car to see if everything is good. This was the shortest time that I spent in any dealership to buy a car i.e. less than 2 hours. Hats off to Joseph & Carlos. Long Story (in case anyone has patience to read) -- Every other dealer was like "You got to come to dealership to get the best price"; I understand that buying a car is not an easy decision but going to dealership and going through those rounds of discussion where the sales agent will make you wait for infinite hours, testing your patience and making you skip a meal AND then in the end - you may or may not buy the car. Long story short; cut the chase and give a good deal as "gone are the days of making you wait" especially if a person has done his homework of going through internet and is talking numbers. read more

There are negative comments about the sales department here. I purchased an Acura Integra here a long time ago. I barely remember the car, other than the fact that I never had a problem with it, so I cannot speak to this issue. However, I was treated fairly by the service department during a recent visit. I called for a service appointment, and they got me in the next day. I needed a headlight lamp replaced on my 2006 Acura RSX, and also requested an oil change and new transmission fluid. The service advisor, Matt, was forthright. He quoted me the charges in advance, which were close to what you'd pay at Jiffy Lube. He also offered me a complimentary multi-point check of the entire vehicle and a free wash. I waited in the customer lounge, which is pretty low down for a "luxury" auto dealership. There's cable TV, but it only gets channels 2-13. An instant-coffee dispenser with powdered creamer, a soda fountain, a popcorn machine, and a box each of doughnuts and bagels from Dunkin Donuts, which were all gone by the time I arrived at 2:30 PM. You should expect to wait about an hour for an oil change and wash at a dealership. After an hour, Matt came in to give me some bad news. The parts department did not have the headlight bulb in stock. However, he offered to send someone to an auto parts store to find one if I was willing to wait another 45 minutes. About an hour later, my car was all done. Matt knocked $50 off the bill for the delay, which was nice. My car was in perfect shape otherwise, and, to my surprise, at no point did he try to upsell me on anything. I would recommend the service department at Springfield Acura. read more

Review for Parts and Services. Pros: Complimentary car washes with service, refreshments (donuts, coffee, soda, water, bagels) and entertainment (TV and Magazines) in waiting room. My service rep was polite and gave me a couple of discounts. Also, the guy I ordered my parts from was polite and also gave me a discount off of the stock price. Service is fairly fast. Cons: Staff can be more informative. I pulled up in the service line where a worker notates mileage and damages on car and he gives me a ticket without telling me what I should do next. He could have directed me to see a worker inside to take care of paperwork, but instead, I went straight to the waiting room (thinking they had all my information since I was on their appointment log). I sat there for 20 min until the same worker I dealt with comes in and tells me, "You have to see a worker first," in an impolite manner... assuming it was something that I was already suppose to know. I think they should always be informative, esp not knowing if a customer is new or not. Staff can be more polite. I called to make a service appt. and a service lady I spoke with had an attitude, like she didn't want to be there assisting me. Prices are high (as expected). I called my usual mechanic and asked how much he would've charged me for the services I had done at Acura. In short, a heck of a lot less. I just didn't have time to spare so I had the services done here. Next time, I'll order my parts here and have them installed at my usual mechanic. read more

WARNING! SPRINGFIELD ACURA completely ripped our family off for $1900 for a brake job! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! We brought our 2010 TSX (73K miles) to Springfield Acura after our mechanic, BERNIE'S in Millburn, correctly diagnosed a problem with the car's ABS system, an expensive repair requiring an Acura software sync which BERNIE'S cannot provide. BERNIE'S ruled out master cylinder and caliper malfunction after performing a mechanical diagnostic (at no charge). Next step, we drive our TSX to Route 22 and meet with SPRINGFIELD ACURA service advisor, and were told that a complete $149 diagnostic will be performed, the cost of which is credited against any repairs. The following day, we are advised that our Master Cylinder and Booster Pump are broken which is causing the "mushy" brake pedal feeling. Four days later, we receive a call from SPRINGFIELD ACURA saying the parts have been replaced for $1900 but the brakes are still not operating properly. The Service Advisor continues to tell us that we must replace broken calipers at a $1700 cost, and the car is not safe to drive. Next, we arrange a tow service and bring our TSX back to BERNIE'S in Millburn and report these findings and ask Bernie to replace the calipers ($400 total cost at BERNIE'S). Once the caliper replacement is complete (against BERNIE'S advice) the brakes are still mushy and we are in exactly in the same predicament before this nightmare began, except were now down $2300! Next step, we drive our TSX to DCH ACURA in Verona and pay $149 for a complete Acura diagnostic again. We are told that our car's ABS system needs replacement at a $4400 cost! HERE'S where this story gets really ugly...we reach out to SPRINGFIELD ACURA Service Manager asking for a refund, who engages the SPRINGFIELD ACURA GM, Bill Ronnow, and offers to conditionally refund the full $1900..if they perform the $4400 ABS repair. We decline this offer and ask for the full $1900 refund with no further repairs done at SPRINGFIELD ACURA. We are told no way will a full refund will be offered because they are losing money. OK, we offer to pay dealer cost for the parts ($400), and receive a $1500 refund. SPRINGFIELD ACURA refuses our offer and counter-offers with a $1000 refund, take it or leave it (exact words). While we hope to avoid getting screwed, we decide it's best to call the SPRINGFIELD ACURA owner Ron Ciassuli and plead our case. Our call is answered by the SPRINGFIELD ACURA GM, saying "I'm the person in charge and Mr. Ciassuli is an absentee owner". Mean, foul, nasty words ensue and we are then told by this GM that the $1000 refund is off the table and if you want my money, we'll see you in court. I went to this Acura dealership looking to get a new car, Antonio Estacio who is a sales advisor helped me through every step with my dream car. Luckily, I found exactly the one that I was looking for, he managed to help me in every way he could. Worst experience, save your self the time and go to another dealer. These people only want their money and that's it. After you have the car it's not their problem even if it's under warranty. This place leased me a "brand new ILX" which was completely water damaged and rusted to the point where it broke into pieces from the trunk forcing me to use a pole to hold it up for the remainder of my lease. I was told I would get a courtesy fix never got one! Mangers one after the next tried to talk to me in the office so a scene wasn't created in front of their customer. Super disgusted by this dealer ship, I really wish I could give no stars. There's no reason a car should be this rusted inside only after 2 months of a lease.. please see pictures read more

If there was 0 star I would have given that! Springfield Acura, my sales man was Eisam, sold me an Acura MDX 2014 saying it is fully loaded. I specially asked for safety features and said it has the Technolpgy package and it is fully loaded. I didn't realized after driving for a day that this thing has no parking sensors. So please beware about sick selling tectics. Also I feel they lie and you have to call so many times to get to the right person. Also when I went to get the number plate and a part replacement for 3rd row seat, the part was replaced after waiting for 1.5 hrs but they didn't put the number plate on or handed over to me. My temporary number plates expired on July 14th that was the last day and they didn't put it on. I was told that I received a phone call on July 6th but I didn't and no voice mail was left. I am told to just come again to drive 45 mins, leave everything I am doing to get the number plate. I am changing my dealership to a different Acura service for future. That is their current service, either they have lot of business and don't care or just don't care about my business. read more

Brought my car in for routine maintenance & to have my brakes looked at. I had a 10:30am appt. & arrived 30mins early. I was told that they would let me know if I needed brakes. We've been sitting here for over 2 1/2 hrs. No one ever came out to let me know if I need brakes. So my husband went out to check on the car & speak to the lady who checked us in. She mentioned nothing about my brakes. So I went out to speak to her. She lied & said she told my husband that I needed brakes. No one ever bothered to inform me that they checked my brakes & whether or not if they needed to be replaced. When I scheduled this appt I requested a loaner car but when we got here they told me that none were available. So here we sit from 10am & still sitting here waiting, it's nearly 1pm. This waiting room is a dump with ripped up ragged vinyl chairs & a dirty gray/black carpet. I will never return here again. This is the worst service center that I ever seen. This does even deserve 1star. read more

I worked with a salesman named Mike and he basically pulled a bait and switch on me in terms of pricing on a lease. I drove from 2 hours away after confirming over the phone, and also having text messages and emails that also confirm what we spoke about. When I got there, they told me that there was a down payment due for the vehicle I was leasing. I told them and showed them in writing from the salesman that we agreed to a sign and drive deal (zero due at signing). The dealership told me that zero due at signing did not mean that I wouldn't have to pay anything at signing, that I in fact would have to pay something at signing and that I was confused. I've leased over 20 vehicles in my life but suddenly I don't understand leasing terminology. I also asked 2 other salesman in the dealership if I was wrong about this, the other salesman shook their heads and apologized to me on behalf of the dealership. Complete waste of my time, I would never refer this place to anyone. read more

I had a terrible experience with this dealership. From when I walked in made me wait to even see a associate, to the price of the car being more than they advertised, to the making me wait 30min to even give me the price of the car. They never even asked me if I wanted a drink of water. Horrible customer service. They came back later with an even higher price...thanks I'll take my business somewhere else, Mike was our sales man he did the bait and switch with the price. read more

I came in to get a scratch on my front bumper fixed and a oil change. They were able to get the scratch out and do the oil change in just 1 hour. Everyone there was super helpful. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Will Ortiz. I knew I wanted a 2022 MDX, and he spent about two hours letting me test drive the demo, answering my questions, and finally doing another test drive of the actual car I ended up buying, all to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase.
