Brought my car in for routine maintenance & to have my brakes looked at. I had a 10:30am appt. & arrived 30mins early. I was told that they would let me know if I needed brakes. We've been sitting here for over 2 1/2 hrs. No one ever came out to let me know if I need brakes. So my husband went out to check on the car & speak to the lady who checked us in. She mentioned nothing about my brakes. So I went out to speak to her. She lied & said she told my husband that I needed brakes. No one ever bothered to inform me that they checked my brakes & whether or not if they needed to be replaced. When I scheduled this appt I requested a loaner car but when we got here they told me that none were available. So here we sit from 10am & still sitting here waiting, it's nearly 1pm. This waiting room is a dump with ripped up ragged vinyl chairs & a dirty gray/black carpet. I will never return here again. This is the worst service center that I ever seen. This does even deserve 1star. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Will Ortiz. I knew I wanted a 2022 MDX, and he spent about two hours letting me test drive the demo, answering my questions, and finally doing another test drive of the actual car I ended up buying, all to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase. Can't speak to the service department as I haven't used them yet, but the car buying experience was fantastic. read more

I came in to get an estimate on a few issues that I had with my mdx. I was welcomed in by a true professional by the name of Matt Hoff who was professional, courteous, accommodating and most of all honest . He took the car for an inspection and advised on which items should be addressed promptly and which can wait to a later time when i have the funds. In the mean time, he sat me in a top of the line 2017 mdx so I won't have any down time . My car was fixed professionally and under budget ! And the thing that really left me speechless was a birthday gift that Matt had left for me in my car as he knew that it was my birthday . He left me a brand new dlr light bulb ( 100$ value ) that he knew that I needed and couldn't afford at the time . If you have an Acura, look no further and go to Springfield Acura and ask for MATT ! read more

I had the best experience at Springfield Acura working with Josh. This was my first time purchasing a brand new car and he made the process as easy and as smooth as possible all while being the most enjoyable person to talk too. I will be a long term customer because of him. The reason I'm leaving 4 stars and not 5 is because i called them today to ask a simple question and got transferred to Valerie who had the nastiest attitude ive ever experienced. Next time i call in and get her on the phone I'm asking to be transferred to someone else because she clearly has poor customer service. Other than that my experience was all in all a great one. read more

I had such a great experience working with the guys at Springfield Acura. I spoke to Mike on the phone and email- their pricing is very competitive and they don't have any gimmicks like other dealers. Springfield Acura made my new car buying experience so wonderful. I highly recommend anyone looking for an Acura to go to Springfield Acura!! read more

Yelp had to take down my initial review because it had promotional material for the dealership I ended going with. So.. I'm going to repost my initial review minus the much dealer and dealership I worked with because these people are TERRIBLE. This is absolutely the worst dealership I have ever been in contacted with. I called to get a price and quote on the car. The would not even give a price. The manager had the audacity of hanging the phone up on me, after I told her a quote I got at a dealership. She hung up by saying your quote is a "lie". Only lies here are the one you give your customer. These people are the worse.. Please do not go them. Latoya and her manager are the biggest crooks in the business. read more

I had the most simple, seamless and wonderful experience with this dealership. I was in the market for a white TLX with black interior to replace my current ILX. None of the dealerships near my house had one in stock but I was able to find one via the Acura website at Springfield. I called over and spoke with Kyle. He was very personable and we came to such a quick and easy agreement on price (that was far below what other dealerships were quoting for the same car) that I was suspicious. My husband actually had me call him back to request that he send me an email outlining the terms of our deal because we were both sure that it was too good to be true. I was able to fill out the credit application online and the next day I went to the dealership after work to take delivery of my car. Carlos sat with me to finalize the paperwork and he was so nice and the transaction was so easy. I signed my papers, he took my old ILX back and showed me all the gadgets in my TLX and how everything worked. No one pressured me or tried to upsell me at all. I kept waiting for them to try to tack on more money or for some issue to arise but nothing ever did. I would highly recommend Carlos and Kyle to anyone in the market for an Acura. They are straight shooters and it was a pleasure to deal with them. read more

I had a fantastic car leasing experience last month at Springfield Acura. Mason and Jimmy were terrific. They gave me an absolutely unbeatable price on a premium ILX. They went the extra mile in so many ways (handling the return of my car, taking over my old lease payment, finding me the exact car that I wanted, getting me a competitive insurance quote, and even offering home delivery of my car due to my work schedule). I never felt that Mason was upselling me. He was super down to Earth and was always reachable and would respond literally in minutes to any inquiries I had. I'm so happy with my new car and my experience was so positive here, that I would undoubtedly return to this dealer and the car brand. Would recommend to my friends and family. I just purchased a new 2014 MDX with Tech package from Springfield Acura. I worked with Larry Rhodes who was one of the best salesman I've ever dealt with. He was knowledgable on the car, showed us all the options and was very patient with all of our questions during the test drive. When it came to working the numbers, we first had a sales manager who attempted to negotiate with my wife and I on an Advanced Package MDX. The sales manager was very rude and we walked out without even negotiating any further due to his behavior towards us. Larry called us about an hour later and apologized profusely (as we were sitting in another dealership negotiating). He said he doesn't do business that way and was embarrassed at his sales managers behavior. He said that the dealership has had issues with this particular sales manager and the owner of the dealership was made aware of his current outbursts with us. After my conversation with Larry, I felt he was sincere and after spending a lot of time with him, I wanted to give him our business for the sale. I called him later the first evening (after visiting two more dealers and running out of time) and said that we were going to come in again the next day to see him and he was extremely thankful. I appreciated his sincere phone call to us and even while purchasing and negotiating the car on day one and two, he was open and honest on all options we were thinking of and was absolutely a great person to deal with. On day two we made an appointment and Larry greeted us promptly. We were able to negotiate in a much more respectful manner with another sales manager and were successful in purchasing the AWD MDX Tech, White with Parchment interior. If you go, please tell Larry that Michael the pilot sent you over and he will remember us! He was a great guy! Michael read more

Had a good service experience this week: two idiot lights were lit, check engine and brake. I convinced myself the brakes didn't feel right so I took it in. I was told up front there would be a $120 diagnostic fee if I chose not to pay for a recommended repair, but I was steeled for something more like a grand. They called me at the end of the day and assured me they could find nothing, and described what sounded like a few hours of measurements and road testing. Clearly they could have scammed me with some repair, if their intentions were not good. I felt lucky to get away with the $120 (plus another $6 for a battery for a 12 year old key fob, definitely less than I had anticipated). I work in the city, and the after hours drop off and pickup were handled very well on their end. I've used them for most of the scheduled maintenance since buying my TL from them back in 2000, and I'm mostly convinced its all been good. I still have nagging doubts about all my interactions around cars, and PTSD from some with other dealers (like Planet Honda), but no smoking guns with Springfield Acura after all these years. read more

Before you even consider buying/leasing here - notice one thing. The manager only responds to 5 star reviews, saying "thanks." He has NO response for the customers who feel they were baited and switched, treated like crap, or were lied to. And there are plenty. He has ABSOLUTELY no desire to address any problems with the dealership. And if you look at reviews - there are plenty! The largest number of reviews have ONE STAR! We were unfortunate customers who should have walked away on day 1 and never leased here. The MDX we leased was an okay car, but Everyone at Springfield Acura - including the slimy salespeople couldn't give a rat's a%^^ what happens to you after you sign the papers. Matt in service is the only semi-decent person who works here. Everyone else is rude, unprofessional (including one of the finance managers who answers the phone "Hello??" as if you woke him up at 3am and always, always tells you to call back in an hour). Then when you call back he tells you to call in another hour, and so on, and so forth. We purchased a special Tire package during the lease - to cover tire damage, and when we hit a pothole we were "mistakenly" told to pay for it ourselves. Our sales person (who is very old and needs to retire) didnt even bother to look up our policy and told us we had to shell out $400. He will claim he doesn't remember the conversation.Well, when we turned in the car in they said they couldn't make it retroactive, that was our responsibility, and we shouldn't have listened to our sales guy. Its a pretty established racket, this place. If you are set on getting an Acura, please go to Bridgewater or any other dealership in NJ. They will treat you worse than dog/rat/vermin droppings in Springfield. Oh, and the icing on the cake? Our family has purchased about 6 vehicles from this same dealership. So much for rewarding loyalty. Buyer Beware!!!! read more

I would give this review a zero if I could - Appalling service. Once you drive off that lot and they have their money, it's like you don't exist. We purchased our Acura from Springfield Acura several years ago and the experience was positive. Bringing the car in for service proved to be an unpleasant experience - each time we were treated as if they Springfield Acura were doing us a favor and something like a simple oil change would take hours. Luckily as a family friend does all of our regular vehicle service (oil change, tire rotation, etc.) we did not bring the vehicle in for this type of service. A recall notice recently arrived regarding the driver side air bags on our Acura. The replacement has to be done by a service center at an authorized Acura dealer. We called to make an appointment and the service rep asked us the last time this vehicle was brought in for service. When we responded that we could not recall, we were disconnected from the call. We called back twice more, each time getting a different person to answer and each time we told the Acura representative that we were unable to recall the last time we brought the car in for service at Springfield Acura, we were rudely hung up on. Clearly this is the policy of Springfield Acura on how to treat customers We then proceeded to call an Acura dealership at a nearby town and had no problem securing a prompt appointment to handle the airbag recall. We've never purchased anything from this second dealership but they will definitely be the ones we go to when we're in the market for a new car. Will never set foot in Springfield Acura again read more

I had to do an emergency oil change here the other week. I'm glad they made an appointment for me. Thankful for that. I usually go to Bridgewater Acura for all my service needs. I was shocked to find the oil change price 5 dollars more expensive than Bridgewater Acura. Also, There is barely enough parking for service. The building is extremely dated and needs updating. I'm a little bias here because I'm comparing to Bridgewater Acura. The oil change was only 20 minutes which was the fastest time for me. The rest area was also small and tight. Hope you find this useful! read more

I had 3 problems with Springfield Acura (1: bait & switch for trade-in value - they provided a trade-in value, but later tried to offer $1K lower than they promised, 2: provided inaccurate lease rate which resulted us to select another vehicle, 3: sales manager never came out and greeted us). Carlos and Mike (both are our sales rep) were nice, but their overall service quality was hugely different from other Acura dealership I did business with. Later they tried to rectify the situation (to earn decent review for the customer survey conducted by Acura), but they never responded to my call-backs. If you are only going for lowest purchase price, this may be an option, but if you would like to build a relationship, I would think twice about heading to this dealership. read more

My wife and decided to go to our local Acura dealer to look at a preowned vehicle. I already knew my credit situation and had a pre-approval from Capital One. Unfortunately the pre-approval expired. I'm assuming that because of COVID, things were backed or the dealer was using some tactics to keep us waiting to frustrate us either way we sat here close to 4 hours. The salesman Patrick went through the proper steps in showing us different vehicles. Upon landing on a vehicle another gentleman Anthony comes over to speak to us. I had already told both of them that I only want my credit ran once and I prefer Capital One because of the pre-approval. He insisted that he already had and approval and he needed to finalize things with his finance manager. Next thing I noticed was I'm getting numerous alerts to my phone because they decided to run my credit through 6 banks. At this point I'm furious. Not only didn't they respect my wishes but he came back with a computer generated approval from so NON-PRIME lender with a 20 percent interest rate. This is not the type of dealership I'd recommend to ANYONE because they didn't respect my wishes now I have six hard inquiries on my credit when I politely asked them to only run my credit to one bank. If you decide to go to Springfield Acura, go with a check in hand from your lender because they are predators and do not respect their potential customers. read more

We went to Springfield Acura because our lease was up for our current Acura and we wanted to explore options. We loved our car so we were unsure whether or not we wanted to lease a new one, buy our car out from the lease, or buy a car. We were instantly taken care of by Dennis upon arrival. He spent a lot of time getting to know us and our situation. He gave us a lot of guidance and provided various options with all pricing for us to choose from. In no way did Dennis make us feel like we were being sold to. It felt like we met with a consultant that took the time to provide all of the options and we never felt like we were being steered in any direction. We test drove a few cars with Carlos who was so fun and knowledgeable. He had a great energy about him and didn't spend the whole time "selling" rather getting to know us so he could point out things in the vehicle that were relevant to us. For us, it made the most sense to buy our car out of the lease based on the mileage and other factors. Dennis worked with us patiently for hours as we worked through the paperwork and everyone from the service department to the front desk team treated us beyond well. Greg did most of our paperwork and even remembered us (hopefully, as this is the 3rd time we sat there signing endless papers with you). He somehow makes the act of spending a ridiculous amount of money enjoyable :) Thanks Springfield Acura - you guys are awesome! read more

This is my 2nd lease purchase from this Acura. It all came crashing down shortly after I purchased the 2nd lease. Basically, as always they were very excited to get me in the new car and they took over the old lease which was in pristine and perfect condition and under-driven by 20,000 miles. Instead of giving me a solid incentive for all the bonus miles - I got nothing. Which is not what the review is about honestly. Anyway, they inspected the car and took the keys and got me the keys to a new car. Everyone is happy right? Few weeks later, I get a letter from Hann Financial (Acura lease or used to lease cars via them) saying there is significant damage to the car and I owe them $1700. Acura full well knows my car was in perfect condition and they even admitted that Hann is a criminal outfit harassing customers in this very same fashion. Did Acura do anything to help? No. I had to call them, pester them, ask them for some support as a loyal customer. Nothing. Luckily I had purchased additional insurance on the car which had cost me $500. Yet I find out that the insurance only covers $1000 worth of damage. So I paid $500 for insurance that covers only $1000? Another scam by Acura - word to the wise do NOT purchase this additional insurance it is utterly useless. I had to call Hann and plead my case with them and they took off the $1000 given my insurance and they reduced the owed amount in half making my final amount $350. Point is, I have to pay a fine for returning a car in perfect condition and Acura will not have your back. As soon as you buy a new lease, you are on your own on anything to do with the old lease. One thing is for sure, I will not buy a 3rd lease from this particular Acura. Hope you other guys have more positive things to say about this Acrua dealership. read more

IF I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD! 100% absolutely the worst buying experience in my life and this would have been my 16th purchase over 30 years! Bought a 2015 SS Camaro convertible here on 4/2/2016. Returned the car to this "dealer" two weeks later. I found out through suspicion, research, Chevrolet dealer and an independent estimate that the vehicle was involved in a major front end collision. The estimate to fix what had been "fixed" was $5,500! The most important finding was the frame of the car was bent from the first collision and never repaired, so the car was a ticking time bomb if it was in another accident! We ran three VHR's through Carfax, Autocheck and vehiclehistory.com. All reports came back clean, no accidents. The dealer claimed they "had no idea" that the car was in an accident! Bullshit! Any car dealer buying cars from auction has an obligation to inspect the vehicle both professionally and independently to assure the vehicle they're selling is as advertised, no matter what the car history reports say! Found out when the car was in the accident, the owner at that time paid for damage repairs out of pocket, so the accident would never show on a VHR! The dealership reluctantly took the car back and offered us first dibs on two more of the exact model, but with 3X as many miles as the original car. The original car had 6,300 miles on it, the other two "new" ones, 17K and 19K. The original car was $34,995, talked them down to $33,995. They offered me either of the two other ones at $32,440. So, for 6 hours of driving, tolls, gas, inspections, estimates, countless emails, countless phone calls, complete and utter aggrevation and most importantly, possibly endangering the lives of me and my family had that car been hit in the same manner and one of us being killed, they offered me $1,555 off. are you F'n kidding me??? If I was twenty years younger, I would've been going to jail! DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR, DON'T EVER BUY A VEHICLE HERE FOR AS LONG AS YOU LIVE! read more

I have leased three cars (MDX, RDX & TLX) from Springfield Acura, but, sadly, won't lease a fourth one from them. Not surprisingly, the issues are around promises that were made, but not completed, when coming to pick up the car and sign the lease. Since I had leased two other cars with them (same salesmanger, salesman, etc.) I trusted them at their word. Obviously, I should have known better. In any regard, when I called back to follow up, the entire office went in "black ops" mode. No follow up. Very disappointing, on both a personal and professional level, since I put a high premium on honesty and relationships. For Springfield Acura to not to, and for a silly couple of hundred dollars, seems very shortsighted. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. We bought a "new" (as per the dealer) TLX from Springfield Acura a couple of weeks ago. Car condition - we were told the car was new and had a mileage of 62 miles on it. However, we later checked the total mileage was around 500 miles when we bought the car. This came to light by chance as we had to take the car in for repair within a week for a tyre that was leaking air when we were handed over the car. Pricing - After a couple of visits and phone calls to the dealership, we finalized a price and were asked to pay a deposit of $3,000 to book the car at the agreed price - which we did. As the paperwork could not be completed at that time, we went again the following week to finalize the purchase and get the car. At that point, they had tacked on an additional $1,500 to the negotiated price as destination charge (~1,000) and documentation fee (~500). We had talked to 3-4 other dealers before finalizing the car with Springfield and all the other dealers had included the destination charge in their quotes. With Springfield - they never even mentioned that it would be extra on top of the finalized price until we were signing all the paperwork to drive out with the car. Financing - Having recently moved to the US, we don't have 6 months' credit history, so we paid 2/3rd of the car price outright and financed the remaining 1/3rd. The rate we were charged? 10% p.a., which, as you might guess by the account above, was only disclosed to us when we went to take delivery of the car. To top it off, they don't even care to respond. I was able to talk to the finance manager Jeff once over the few days following the purchase. I called them 6-8 times and reception would transfer the call but it was rarely picked up. Only after we found out the mileage and complained, they considered entertaining our calls. Can't believe this is the standard consumers should expect. We're going to lodge official complaints as well. read more
