My wife and I heard about their porchetta sandwich from her brother, so I ordered a Pryze IPA and the truffle and mushroom porchetta. AMAZING Both the beer and the sandwich. I would have liked the house made chips warm, but they were pretty good. #Edinaproblems.Get the porchetta sandwich, it was really great! read more

A hidden gem in Minneapolis! Came here with my project team for our roll-off dinner and had a fantastic meal - great food, wonderful environment, and even better company. Food: -On the pricey side, but they have a really good fixed menu price of $40 for 3 courses. Would definitely recommend this, they have some pretty awesome selections. Only caveat: everyone at the table has to do this though. -Our team ordered so much that I can't possibly remember everything to list out so I'll just highlight my favorites. -FRIES: yummm! It's an appetizer dish and I think it's called patate al forno on the menu but I could be wrong. This is seriously some of the best fries I've had. -Insalata mista was also superb - incredibly fresh ingredients and very light. -Zuppa di pesci is a seafood soup which I absolutely loved. All the seafood was so tender, though the accompanying bread was kind of salty. -Quail: really well seasoned but a little on the tough side. -Seabass: fresh and tasty! -Pistachio cakes is a must for dessert. Wine: -We ordered quite a few bottles of both red and white wine. They are definitely true to it's wine bar name - so many selections and all great! The red wine was some of the best I've tasted. Can't remember the name though. -Our sommelier, Laura, was fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. When she noticed that one of our white wines was over-aged, she immediately took it away and didn't charge us for it. Atmosphere: -Fancy but not too pretentious. -It's an intimate venue so definitely meant for parties 6-8 or less. Would definitely come here again if there's ever the occasion when I'm in Minneapolis. I visited Terzo with my partner earlier this month, and we absolutely loved it. We started with the lemon ricotta bread appetizer. Then, I had the risotto and my partner had the game hen. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and the ambience. We were seated in the exterior dining area, which was surprisingly warm and comfortable. I would absolutely make Terzo a regular in our restaurant rotation! read more

As soon as I found out Terzo was related to Broder's it immediately got added to my bucket list. Finally made it here when family was visiting and the food was phenomenal. Service was a little slow but I would absolutely recommend this place for food. They have a great wine list for both glasses and bottles. The bottle we ordered was out of stock but the sommelier quickly brought a comparable wine. We ordered the ravioli as a starter and it was to die for. The mushrooms and walnuts gave it some texture and I could have ordered this for my main dish and not shared with anyone else. For our entrees we got the scallops and pork loin piccata. Scallops are one of my favorite seafood dishes and I'm picky about how they are prepared. These were cooked perfectly, seared but not too overdone. The cauliflower and grapefruit were very interesting fillers but surprisingly good pairing. The piccata was enjoyable but very traditional piccata dish with butter and capers. I will definitely be coming back to try the porchetteria sandwich walk up window this summer! read more

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant the first time we have eaten there. The ambiance is very nice .Service was great. The bread that was brought out right away at no cost was superb as was the chive olive oil to dip it in. A friend with us had risotto, and it was far to salty to my taste. The salt probably was from the prosciutto that was in it. I assume that no other salt was added. I hope that they can tone down the salt in this item. The scallop was far to small, but it was very fresh and delicious. I feel that the size of the portion was inadequate. Why just one scallop? Despite these 2 comments we definitely plan to come back and will just avoid the items I mentioned. read more

Most definitely worth the trip. I love their porchetta sandwiches and their one bite specials. My boyfriend and I have been visiting this place for a while and I figured it's time for a review. For starters, we love their selections of wine. No matter what type you like; white, red, full-bodied or not they have it for you. Always, always ask your server for their opinion and expertise-you won't be disappointed if you do. Beyond their adult drinks, there are many things from the menu that are great. Tonight, however, we kept it simple with just their porchetta sandwiches. My bf opted for his favorite again: The Calabrian porchetta. He loves the hint of spice that comes with this sandwich and it's his favorite go-to. For myself, I try to taste something different each time and this night I opted for the rapini porchetta. Texturely, it was great, you get a crunch from the rapini and the acid that was found in the sandwich made it a winner for me. Their pork belly and pork shoulder mix can create a oily feel but having a hint of that acid, really does cut down that feel. And I love how messy it can be while eating that sandwich. I mean aren't all good things suppose to be sinful and messy when you eat it. Use a fork, heck use your hand if you must....c'mon you have potato chips to eat for goodness sakes. :) I know I said we kept it simple but when I saw salted caramel gelato and mascarpone espresso sponge cake, I had to get dessert. If you're thinking this is like a tiramisu, it's not. Yes, it has similar notes but there isn't a strong espresso taste to their sponge cake, like traditional rum soaked lady fingers, so no let's not confuse the two. This heavenly goodness had just the right amount of sweetness with a sprinkle of saltiness. It was ah-ma-zing. I would have licked the plate but that would have been un-lady-like of me. Haha. **oh, the nice thing about going with someone else is you can share the other half of the sandwich with each other too. If you're willing that is. That is all. read more

Food was excellent and service was good. Are at the bar. Will not go back due to the ridiculous "health and wellness charge". Hurts your own staff since people tip them less. I don't even like the 5% charge many restaurants now charge in Minneapolis. 15%+ is just simply outrageous. . read more

Have been here twice now with the boyfriend. First on my birthday. The truffle porchetta sandwich was amazing! Staff in the dining room was attentive. Overall great first visit! Today, just went to their side window. Had the ripini porchetta sandwich. In my opinion, not as good as the truffle porchetta, but the boyfriend likes it more than the truffle one. Also, he wants me to add that the seasoning today (he's cheated on me and had sandwiches there without me) was bland. But, we'll be back. read more

Decided to stop here with a friend for a glass of wine. We sat at the bar, and were able to chat a bit with the bar tender, as well as the General Manager...of course, two glasses later, it was sadly time to leave. (could've had more!) After the interaction with them, and the appearance of the food that was coming out of the kitchen, I would love to come back and try their food. As a world traveler, this place definitely has a world class feel. Would be an ideal for a date night, or maybe a great business meeting place. read more

I was really looking forward to going to Terzo - it is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is good. Also - the wine containment system ensures that you get a fresh glass. We had the cheese plate, olives, several glasses of wine, and all was fine. It is easy to get a table mid week, the wine bar is typically full but the tables are usually available. They have a lot - which can be full. Again, my only complaint is it is pricey - they are aiming for quality, which I appreciate - but for three people the bill was really high for a non-dinner. read more

Piedmont wine and Tajarin lovers here's your home! Great outdoor cozy patio for during covid and chilly nights.

Was on a quick visit to the twin cities and stopped in at Terzo on the fam's recommendation. YUM! From appetizers to entrees I was impressed. My daughter even said this maybe her new fav restaurant and we had just returned from Italy! We started with homemade potato chips and stuffed peppers for the table and I couldn't get enough of either. My ravioli and squash entree was full of flavor with a creamy cheese filling. My daughters mushroom ragu pasta was earthy but not overly so as I don't even love mushrooms. Neither of us are meat eaters so we couldn't comment on the pork sandwiches - their specialty - but their vegetarian items were worth a second (or third) trip. read more

Good location but hardly any parking available other street parking. It has a good wine selection including Lambrusco. We ordered cheeses and crispy potatoes from the bar menu. Both were tasty. Server was pretty friendly and attentive. He gave us good pasta recommendations. Pasta was very well prepared, buttery and had a little kick. I think it was stringozzi. My friends also loved their primi dish - egg yolk pasta with mushrooms ragu. This place was not noisy which was good to have conversation. The vibe was trendy. We ended our meal with chocolate cake which was great and adequate for two people. Overall very good experience. I will likely go there again. I really wanted to love Terzo because of my undying affection of Broders, so I walked in instantly biased. Not only was I biased, but I was overly optimistic too, which I have to temper because it's not fair to the restaurants when they turn out to not be unicorns that poops foie and truffles. We had half the menu and it was good. Apps were solid. I got the porchetta bowl. It was like a 7/10. We had a lovely dinner at Terzo. We sat at the bar and the bartenders and servers were very friendly, helpful and service was great. They were out of many wines on the menu which was disappointing but the food did not disappoint. I enjoyed the butternut squash soup and the beet risotto. Both amazing and bursts of flavor. Everything was wonderful until the check arrived. They charged a 15% wellness/health (or whatever they are calling it or disguising it as, these days). Never saw it on the menu although I'm guessing it was likely there in very tiny print but it was clearly stated on the check and highlighted along with a small card attempting to explain/justify it. We talked to our waitress/bartender and told her that we genuinely appreciated the wonderful service and knew that she would not benefit from the added non-negotiable charge, but that we felt it was egregious and the owners (Broders Restaurant Group) should just honestly and transparently raise the menu prices -Then diners would be able to make their own choices. I still tipped her 20% on top of the 15% fee (total of 35% of the food bill before fee and taxes) but told her she should pass on the complaint and that sadly we would not be back until the 15% fee was eliminated. Left feeling deceived, taken advantage of and disappointed. * BUYER BEWARE - 15% ADDED FEE TO BILLS BEFORE TIP - NON NEGOTIABLE. * read more

Don't give out 5 stars to an Italian restaurant all that lightly, but this place just deserves them. We started off with the house charcuterie that included a great house made mortadella and a good terrine. I loved the mortadella, it was very flavorful and aromatic and not too greasy. Terrine was good, but not my favorite, although BF loved it. Then we got the skewer of the day. OK but I think the cherry and hazelnut totally over poured the lard. Then I got the Vitello tonnato, Bf got the rabbit and we shared artichokes. When the veal arrive I was super disappointed: barely any sauce, then I dug in and discovered the sauce was under the veal instead of over the veal as it usually is. The sauce was lemony and salty and the veal was cooked to perfection. together they were an explosion of flavor. I loved it! The rabbit was tender and moist. I am going to guess it was a deboned leg wrapped around a pork and pistachio stuffing. It came with a simple mâché and carrot salad that complemented the dish and without overpowering it and offered some freshness to counterbalance the richness of the rabbit roll. Finally the artichokes were crispy outside and tender inside and tasted delicate and not greasy at all. The mayo was a very bright, lemony mayo. For dessert, we had the taleggio sformatini. They tasted distinctively cheesy, but add the honey and the lemon sauce and you have the perfect dessert. Not too sweet, tangy and acidic. Loved it. So food passed with flying color and many interesting dishes still to try ( have my eyes on the octopus, the frog legs and the puffed fusilli). Oh portion sizes are on the smaller side, so be prepared to spend some money. For drinks there is plenty of wine. As usual in Minnesota it is overpriced, but at least here you have choices! Service started incredibly slow, but once they realized we had been waiting, they picked up the pace and comped the skewers, so really nothing to complain about. Ambience was nice: they did a great job at modernizing the space and making it warm at the same time. Looking forward to go back. read more

Where else can you pull into a parking lot off of 50th, walk up to a window, ring a bell and get a porchetta sandwich? What??? Yeah. Porchetta, that concoction from Northern Minnesota that is pork butt, garlic and other seasonings slow roasted to reduce the meat to flavorful succulent glory piled on a ciabatta. I opted for the truffled mushroom topped version and am thinking of going back already. Unctuous pork slathered in crimini mushrooms that were married with truffle makes for one decadent sandwich. I added on a side of the fennel/radicchio/currant slaw which went well with the pork. Window service is only available from 11a- 5p, so plan accordingly. There are some Adirondack chairs near the window but you might want to think twice about eating your order there - you may not be able to get up afterwards. read more

These are four REAL stars calibrated for NYC reviewing. I haven't done that since Lynn on Bryant. I'm not permanently a snob and I love it here, but sometimes a person just gets homesick, ok? Three things catapult me home when I'm homesick - the scent of the vents if you stand outside Szechuan Spice in uptown - a pie from Hello Pizza delivered to your house, and a nosh at Terzo Vino. Only one of those things is an unqualified non-guilty pleasure. Something special is afoot here - the perfect place to get a carafe of something wonderful, share a salami or cheese board, and linger. Linger because you've finally got Italian eats that aren't pasta or red sauce and you can pretend you're somewhere else for a while. It's not cheap, but it's not overpriced. If you need to be stuffed, you can get a South Jersey across the street. If you need pasta, hello, go to the pasta bar. (Or the massively underrated pastas at Prima) If you're ready to grow up and "take human bites" then you're ready for this place. It's a hell of a lot more interesting, food wise, than, say, Tilia or (might as well compare McDonald's) King's or Beaujos - which I like. But if I'm going to part ways with a stray 40 bucks, you can bet your bippy this will be the first option. The pours are not the cheapest, but I really felt that I was getting more than I paid for. Also the service is just my liking - sardonic, hip to our mood and our pacing, and smart as hell about wine. Let other people muscle over each other to get in and freak out over BLG. We're good, you and I. read more

A lovely hangout. I loved the variety of wines and the tremendous options- half glass, full glass, half carafe, full bottle. Our server was willing to offer up flights and pairings in unlimited combinations. We started with the special skewer of the night- a scallop and potato croquette- that left me wishing for a basket of those. The cheese board and salume boards were the perfect pickings and had some really unusual offerings. Dessert must haves for us were the poached pears and lemon curd. Both were ideal crisp finishes to an unhurried and enjoyable evening. The nicest part about this place was- it felt homey- like you could relax for hours with good old friends. read more

This is my first official Yelp review, and this place was the inspiration to write one. I consider myself a "foodie" if you will and go out to eat very frequently and to higher end places, and love to try all the new places in town. I am a die hard Broders fan and was extremely excited to hear that they were opening a wine bar. We went this past weekend and to say that my expectations were blown away is an understatement! First I have to give out a huge A+ to our bartender Kyle. I was a server for 7 years and typically when going out to eat the service is sub par at best. He was beyond knowledgable about all the wines there which there are 50+ varieties by the glass! Very helpful and willing to give small samples to help you figure out what you like which is huge for me since I all I know about wine is basically white or red. Back to the wine they have a lot of bottles that you can also get a half bottle of which is a great deal! I would go back just to see Kyle it was that great of an experience. Now on to the food. WOW is all I have to say. We had the skewer of the day which was a pickled cauliflower deep fried and with chipotle mayonnaise. Delicious and only $1! We also had the herb goat cheese stuffed peppers, and bruschetta of the day which was a brocooli raab with pesto and fresh mozzarella I believe if I remember correctly. They had a great selection for meat and cheese plates as well with the cheeses and meats changing with the seasons which is great so you can always be trying something new. It is a bit spendy as the concept is small plates but totally worth the price as everything we had was phenomenal. I could not highly recommend this place enough and I am hoping to go back as soon as this weekend. I would suggest to get there a bit early as the space is small and was really getting busy as we were leaving. read more

I have been here a couple times. It is a quaint restaurant in South Minneapolis with an intimate, romantic feel. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. The wine was fantastic, as were the chips and dips. My boyfriend got a porchetta sandwich, which he died for, but oddly, it did not come with chips or a side as I thought it did. I got the vegetarian polenta, which gave me warm fuzzies. Overall, a great place for date night or drinks + apps! read more

A very nice first night at Terzo. And a worthy addition to the Broder's restaurant family. The option for a 3 oz pour makes tasting from the wine menu easy. My wife and I enjoy truly good food. We are not obnoxious or pretentious, but do regard food as one of life's great pleasures. But, we also appreciate reasonable value when exploring all of the exciting dining experiences available to us in the Twin Cities. For many years we have discovered restaurants that have become long-time favorites of ours....i.e., Cafe Ena, Rincon 38, Lucia's, Butcher Block, La Fresca, Joan's in the Park, among others. Each of these offers a unique dining experience, ample portions, and are financially approachable. Having read the litany of reviews for Terzo on Yelp, I thought that it was time for me to find out for myself what so many people are raving about. My wife recommended the restaurant based on a previous experience she had with a friend, and was excited to share this venue with me. While the ambiance is warm, inviting and comfortable, the food left so much to be desired that it is highly unlikely that I would recommend coming here. Being a Saturday night, we knew that Terzo would be crowded, but we planned to share some dishes in the bar, and just relax with some wine, too. The wine list, which is certainly extensive, is terribly overpriced. With the least expensive glass being $9, it made sense to purchase a bottle. We chose a $40 bottle, which of course, wasn't available. The recommended substitution for what we desired was a $56 Italian red, which was out of my price zone. We chose a Barbera D'Alba for $44 which served us well. This bottle was one of only a handful that were below $50. I should mention that we have been very satisfied customers of Broder's for many years, so were anticipating a similar value. How disappointed we were. The first dish that we chose was panzanella, a mixture of sauteed vegetables including onion, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, and a plethora of tiny croutons. This very small portion in a deep, large bowl, was literally swimming in oil. Given the drenched vegetables, there was enough olive oil in the bowl to be accompanied by some nice, crusty bread, but bread was never offered. Moving on to the branzini entree, which we also shared..... we chose this succulent European sea bass as we have had it before elsewhere, and loved it. To our dismay, Terzo served us the smallest branzini that we have ever set our eyes upon, and charged $30 for it. The four bites we each enjoyed were delicious, but we were far from satiated. There were some minute squares of squash and porcini mushrooms topping the fish, but they were few and far between. Granted, we weren't famished when we visited Terzo, thus the decision to share dishes. However, when we departed the restaurant $107 poorer and still craving a sweet dessert, we made a beeline for Lund's down the street, rather than partaking of one of Terzo's options. We've chalked this one up to experience, but are kicking ourselves for not having a glass of wine and taking our bottle a couple of doors down to Broder's. read more

Beautiful wines and plates make this spot a Minneapolis must. Seriously, this place is sexy. Our table of 4 tried five of the appetizer plates, the bite of the day, and two "big" plates. The lamb, goat cheese stuffed peppers, and mushroom/truffle bruschetta were the stars of the evening. The service was perfect and they knew their wine. I'll definitely be back and recommend this place to any serious foodie. read more

I was very happy with my dining experience at this restaurant. Enjoyed a great dinner with friends on a Saturday evening. Called ahead to get an idea of the wait time and the hostess put us on a wait list, once we arrived we were seated within the time frame she quoted over the phone. The hostess was also very hospitable as we were offered drinks while waiting on our table and our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu items, it was clear he had a real passion for the food. Our server guided us through the menu and helped us make the best choices as my group of three was looking to split several different items. Everything we tasted was spot on (favorite: spicy lamb meatballs), even all the way through the desserts- my favorite were the cocoa fritters! Will definitely keep this restaurant in my rotation and will be giving Porchetteria a try very soon! read more

Glad to have this place close by! The Mr and I popped in here while we waited for our place in line at Broders (yes the buzzer works across the street!). We sat at the bar, had a few glasses of wine (great selection!) and a cheese and prosciutto plate. Our server was really knowledgable and talked us through which cheeses to order based on what we like-- very helpful! Wow was the cheese and prosciutto good! And they didn't skimp either! Too often I order a cheese and meat plate and what comes out is a bite of each thing for a huge price tag. In addition we got two bowls of bread to accompany our food. We both can't wait to come back here .... perhaps I can persuade the Mr to go this weekend ;) read more

Pro: such a cute place, love the layout and decor. Cons: unwelcoming/rude service, we felt like a burden as we were told that they were full for reservations and needed to know how long we would take. Mind you, there was one other occupied table, and while we rushed through our appetizer, no other patrons entered the restaurant. The server assumed that all I wanted to drink was water because I'm pregnant, and one of the 3 bruscettas we tried was simply bread with olive oil and salt toasted (which seems more like bread). Not once were we asked how everything was tasting/going, and we thought it best to not water any more time or money there. There was such a vast difference from Broders (same ownership), one would think they are completely unrelated. Won't be back. read more

Three reasons why Terzo gets 5 stars from me. 1. They take reservations! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. It shows that you respect your customers' time. 2. The service. Our server on a Saturday night was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Her wine recommendations were right on for our tastes and her food recs were equally good. I did see one Yelp complaint about service. Go back and ask to be at Karen's table. She was fantastic! 3. The menu - food and wine. My wife and I were specifically looking for wine by the glass, and the variety of styles and regions (all Italy) was great. I saw several interesting wines available by bottle only, and that's great too. But for me, the fun part of a wine bar is the opportunity to compare and contrast. We also really liked the food. We stuck to the small plates, again looking for a variety of flavors rather than an entrée. It's not a huge menu, I wouldn't expect that at a wine bar. But everything we had was great. It's not an inexpensive wine bar. But the pours are generous (6-ounce) or a 3-ounce half glass. And they don't play games with pricing. The half glass costs half as much as a full glass. I'm looking forward to a return visit soon. read more

I had heard excellent things about this restaurant and walked in immediately ready to love this place. Came here for a date night on a busy Saturday evening. Our server was excellent as he made good recommendations regarding their wine selection as we waited for our table. Would recommend the rosé with the orange notes. We were also able to order appetizers at the bar. The main menu did not have much of a selection for vegetarian apps but our server was able to provide us with the happy hour menu that included the Arancini which was absolutely delicious!! The tomato-based sauce was perfect. For the main entree, we ordered the Cocoa Pappardelle, which was fantastic. I've never had pasta like this before. We also ordered the other vegetarian option - the Eggplant Fra Diavola which was my least favorite. It had a beautiful presentation with three cooked large slices of long eggplant in a tomato-based sauce. I'm not a huge fan of eggplant at baseline so that might have contributed to the fact that I did not enjoy this dish as much. Overall, I really enjoyed Terzo. read more
