Love this place!!! We make a point to come every time we're in Maine! BIG cups of coffee, delicious breakfast and friendly staff! My favorite thing is the crepes because they're very hard to find and this place makes them perfectly!

Delicious! Stopped for lunch. Homey feel but in a good way. Clean. Even the restrooms smell good. Wasn't sure what to try but got the pulled pork fries. Excellent! For my lunch I got the burger with egg on top. Cooked well. Great bun. My wife got the French dip. Said the au jus was the best she ever tasted. What I liked most about it it was that even though the menu was nothing super fancy, everything I tried was unique and delicious. Probably the second best place I've eaten in Maine. Will definitely come back.

Great food and service. Very reasonably priced. Delicious tasty breakfast meals me and my family were out of town and went to this place and were very much impressed with everything. A little bit of a wait and appeared a little bit disorganized at the host stand but otherwise all was well.

Sooo Cheesy!!

A refreshing mom and pop breakfast place. Clean country chic vibe and set up with lots of wood accents. The hostess was cordial and timely. The service was excellent and followed up routinely and the food was delicious and filling. No complaints for this amazing restaurant. We will definitely be making another visit here!

While we didn't have much of a wait before being escorted to our table we had local art, desserts to go and seating to us. Interactive placemat made the time fly while waiting for our breakfast. Today's featured a crossword where we looked for inventions from the 1950s! Dining area is large and save for a couple of kids that let out a holler every now and then the ambiance was chill and welcoming. Servings were large and flavor was turned up all the way! We recommend the breakfast potatoes, omelettes, English muffins, French toast, pancakes and iced coffee. Loads of parking alongside the building as well as behind the building. With this business on the first floor it was easily accessible to everyone in our party.

We really wanted to eat here lol

Was finally able to eat here and had such a great experience. I learned from my past non-eating experience to call ahead and make sure my name was added to the wait list. We arrived and met our friend there with only a five minute wait to be seated at our table. Food was delicious. Amazing crepes and even better homemade corned beef hash! My daughter got a Mickey pancake with chocolate chips and my husband was able to order a meal that included two of his favorite brunch items-- biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. Ordered a sriracha Bloody Mary and it tasted good however it wasn't overwhelming with flavor to me. Cute spot. Friendly service. Yummy food. We need more restaurants like this in the area :) I see many more visits here in my family's future!

Working man's breakfast , Bacon Cheddar Crepes and cinna cakes ! All great ! Coffee here is very good as well ! Hash browns cooked perfectly . This was my guests first time here. They were impressed ! Got breakfast at lunch. Took longer than regular lunch items. It was fine . We were not in a rush . Our waitress was fine but never offered refills on the coffee. Had to flag her down . I have been here multiple times. Had not noticed the food grade score until today. There were some serious offenses. I hope you have corrected these problems ! These were some of the worst I've seen in the area . I will definitely check these again before returning .

The burgers were hand-made, not pre-pressed patties. Mushroom Swiss and cheeseburger both tasted great. There's a lot of cheese, and a decent amount of meat. Fries were crispy - just the way I like them. Chicken tenders came with several large tenders: good portion. Hand breaded. Real chicken. Our waitress was nice. There's free popcorn. While I can't verify this, my grandson said "it was the cleanest bathroom of any restaurant." He was impressed. Lol. Seriously.

T he food is great, the service is great and they have a great selection of beers and specialty drinks. However, my recent visit to Buck It just as they opened for the lunch hour during the week was less than satisfying. The waitress, who appeared to be young, was more concerned with talking with the one customer at the bar than to keep an eye on our table. She was quick to take our drink order, but after she dropped them off, we didn't see her for a good 5+ minutes when we placed our food order. After the food was delivered, we never saw the girl until she brought us our check. The majority of the time you could hear her out back talking to the kitchen staff and then she would return to the bar and chat with the one person. At no point did she ever check on us to see how the meal was. Now to the food. My wife had the steak tips with fries and I had the bourbon chicken tips. The chicken was cooked well and had a BBQ sauce it was tossed in. Rice was very bland, but with some salt, pepper and BBQ sauce it was alive again. My wife's tips were cooked very well, but seriously under seasoned. A little salt can go a long way on steak. I was going to sample a smoked whiskey drink they had, but since the bartender was no where to be found, I settled on my soda. It's a good thing we didn't run out of drink, because we would have needed glow wands and flags to get the attention of the bartender. It's too bad because I had high praise for Buck It and the service it what drives my review from a 5-start to a 2-star. Customer service is what makes this a great place, but the younger generation don't understand the first thing about interaction and customer service unless it's through a phone or social media app. It's too bad. Keep the seasoned employees on during lunch if you want to interact with the staff.

The building is super cool as it's stainless steel everywhere. The service was excellent, I never had an empty glass. The ambiance was awesome, very comfortable with an excellent team at work. We lucked out the day we visited and sat at the bar for dinner (which we actually preferred that day so we were excited). Hubby tried a couple of Orono Maine beers which he enjoyed very much. I enjoyed the Raspberry Marguerita's. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. When I tell you they were the best I ever had, believe me. I'm not a seafood girl so I enjoyed the sausage and herb stuffing and they were smothered in the most delicious cheese I ever tasted. It's hard to find a stuffed mushroom that's not stuffed with seafood so I was a happy girl. Most delectable and I'll be ordering those again. We weren't in an entree mood so I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries (one of the best burgers I have ever had) cooked perfectly the way I asked with delicious French fries. He enjoyed the poultryguist chicken sandwich which he loved also with fries. His sandwich was huge, he actually took half of it home. They also have yummy homemade chips on the menu and once he saw them, he also ordered a bag of those to go before we left. Desserts were brought around on a tray - there was not one that didn't look absolutely delectable and we saw a few people get the brownie sundaes (pretty generous in size). We were so full so we are going to visit again to try an entree and desserts! Service was outstanding. Most professional I've seen in this area that really gives this place a step up from the norm. We look forward to visiting again and I'll make a reservation as the place was quite busy when we left. Thanks Krista and team, what an awesome place to visit and we can't wait to return again soon. I'm so happy we live close by. I left my phone in my truck this visit, sorry no pics. I prefer to enjoy my meals without the phone in my hand. Bon appetite!

The food was what I was expecting and hoping for....rich, indulgent food, that met my savory and sweet cravings. We were greeted immediately upon walking through the door and were instructed to sit any where we wanted. We had plenty to choose from around 10:30am on Saturday, even on a holiday weekend. All of the open tables, were clean and ready for new patrons. The restaurant was about half full and appeared to be mostly regulars, as they were chatting with the staff and each other. I love local places that know the locals that well. Our drink orders were taken within a minute of sitting. The hot chocolate were rich and creamy even without whipped cream. I opted not to have it added. I ordered a blueberry muffin as my "appetizer". They offer it as is, or grilled. I love it grilled and it was good and not too filling. For our meals we ordered a table pancake (meaning, a pancake for sharing). It was fluffy and perfectly good - nice and hot. They have "syrup" and it reminded me of being a kid and having Log Cabin syrup. I didn't ask, but it didn't taste like pure maple syrup. I ordered the corned beef hash skillet with a grilled english muffin. It was perfectly cooked and it was delicious. It tasted like canned corned beef hash and I was not mad about it. I truly wanted comfort food and this hit. My friend had the S.O.S. (gravy with beef and pork) AKA Sh*t on a Shingle. It looked soooo good and she stated the biscuit and gravy and meat were good. We took our leftovers home, which will tell you, the portions were decent, the food was delicious and no delicious food would be left behind. I recommend this restaurant if you are interested in diner food, with quick friendly service and plenty of space. I definitely want to come back and get the S.O.S.
