This was such a cute little rooftop brunch spot! The vibe was chill. We were there during a drizzly chilly rain and were offered blankets which was much appreciated and a nice touch. Me and my friends got the Salmon Bagel Tower + Mimosa Kit and enjoyed it and had a great time!

This is a rooftop restaurant and it has a very nice view, although there were tons of bees everywhere, which was annoying. The surface was excellent, and everybody worked really hard to try to make this successful , especially with a larger group. Some food items were great like the appetizers , however, sadly, the main courses were marginal at best. Also, if you have a large group, you will be asked to pay a deposit and you have to make sure that your bill is at least the amount of the deposit or higher. Basically use it or lose it! Three of the main courses were steak so we assumed the steaks would be really good . The Manhattan cut steak was a really poor cut, full of fat and tendons, and not good steak at all. The lobster ravioli didn't even taste like lobster. It looked nice, but it didn't taste great. Incredibly, the fries appetizer was much tastier than any of the main meals. Definitely won't repeat

Great views from the terrasse of the William Gray Hotel! The cocktails were delicious but services something to be desired. We waited almost 45 minutes before even ordering appetizers I had the William Gray Burger, which was average. Expected more with the duck bacon! The seasonal risotto was not good (I don't recall what was in this night's special) - was poorly cooked Desserts were good and the highlight of the evening. Would recco this location for views and drinks, not a top spot for dinner.

Just stopped by to grabbed a drink before dinner. Saw amazing photos vibes and wanted to check it out. Domes was reserved for their 5 course meal. Reservations only.

Pros -the view is stunning. Great view of old Montreal, waterfront. -extensive drink menu. We loved the wine and Frose -Truffle fries had actual pieces of truffle Not pro - the food was OK. Charcuterie, burrata, oysters were standard. Would go for drinks and to check out the view. Service was good at first, but then took a while to get the bill as they were pretty busy. Recommend reservations given how popular it is.

The last time we were here, later evening, they were fully booked. This time we were later afternoon (5:45) and tables were open. Our choices were order food to sit at a table or find a couple of spots at the Bar. We chose to order food. We started with a couple of Cocktails. Spicy Passion Fruit Margarita and an Espresso Martini. Delicious Margarita given the Passion Fruit twist. Martini was also tasty. We weren't ready for Dinner so we went with their Charcuterie. Good balance of cheese, meats and fruit-perfect for two. We saw a good variety of options for appetizers and Entrees. Next time! Our server was attentive and took great care of us. Premium pricing given the views and well worth it. Fun, upbeat vibe and atmosphere with amazing views of Old Town and St. Laurent.

We went in their dome experience and it was absolutely amazing. The server was super nice and gave amazing recommendations for food and drinks. You can see the old port into the distance and they even had a small fireplace to roast marshmallows. The food was absolutely amazing. Each dish did not disappoint. This is definitely something I would bring people to who are visiting Montreal for the first time. I highly recommend this place especially during the winter. It gave off a nice cozy date night vibe!

Had the croque monsieur with pastrami and it was good, but I wouldn't call it amazing. They had classic potato wedges which were well fried, but the croque monsieur seemed very 1 tone. Maybe that's just the nature of the croque monsieur, but I wasn't too impressed

We came here on a Sunday morning for brunch. The restaurant is on the 8th floor of the hotel. The place was not crowded. We were seated at a table with great views of the city, ferris wheel and the St. Lawrence River. We ordered Eggs Benedict and French toast for brunch and had mimosa and tea for drinks. The view was gorgeous. The food was good, and portions were quite large. Friendly staff and the service was good. Great place to hang out.

Beyond spectacular views of Montreal. Ship horns blaze in the distance and as the sun goes down, the Ferris wheel and city light up. Go for drinks and the vibe but do not, I repeat, do NOT order the food. Service was super slow, waited over an hour for our food to arrive. Started with the French onion soup - ok flavor, but so hot it was hard to eat and everyone at the table burned their tongues. Steak frites and tuna for Mains. Meat was chewy and undercooked. Fries were soggy. Tuna was fine but underwhelming. Our waiter was nice and made it up to us with free dessert and tea, but overall still an overpriced experience for not very good food and slow service. The punchline? Am I a bit sad we messed up and overpaid for abysmal food? Yes. Would I recommend this place for a cool experience and nice drinks? Also yes.

Absolutely beautiful views of the most beautiful part of town - perhaps the best views in Montreal. It's clearly very popular, but I was able to snag a table for 4 at 5:30 the same morning. The wait staff was nice and we were able to arrange a surprise dessert for a friend who was celebrating his birthday. We were there just for drinks - all their cocktails tilt heavily to the sweet side, but I asked them to customize my second drink to be more bitter and it came out excellent. Prices were basically as expected.

Stopped in for a cocktail and a snack at Terrasse William Gray. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from Alexandre who made me a delicious Margarita and my sister a very Dirty Martini with extra olives! We shared a Charcuterie Board which was a more than substantial snack for these hungry ladies. Beautiful view of the city. Very busy with lots of happy patrons. Recommended.

Great rooftop views from Terrasse William Gray for our Brunch. Our server was attentive & bi-lingual. We loved our food. The chicken and waffles had a lovely sweet maple flavor and the beef Benedict had a lovely savory sauce. Drinks were excellent. I wasn't impressed that it was a part of a hotel, but that quickly changed! We would eat here again.

The first time, the music was extremely loud, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. The bar was completely packed, and there was only one bartender making drinks, so the wait was a bit longer than expected. We decided to give it another try, and I'm so glad we did. The second visit was amazing! The bartender working that night was incredible--she clearly knows her craft and made our drinks quickly without sacrificing quality. Every cocktail was delicious, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Coldroom. My only suggestion would be that, with a space that busy, the bar could really benefit from having an additional bartender during peak hours. It would help keep wait times down and make an already great experience even better.

We were seated without any issue, ordered a pitcher, and our kids had water. About 20 minutes later, we were suddenly told there was a $10 minimum per person, including the children, and were told they could order a soft drink or juice. Aside from the fact that a juice or soft drink obviously doesn't cost $10, what made the situation particularly frustrating was that a nearby table of three adults had only ordered a pitcher of sangria and, as far as we could see, they were not approached about the same $10-per-person minimum. The message felt pretty clear: we were the only table with children, and they didn't want us there. If children aren't welcome, that's completely fine--but then simply tell families at the door rather than seating them, taking their order, and then introducing a "minimum per person" 20 minutes later that doesn't appear to be applied consistently to other customers. We understood the message, quickly finished our drinks, and left. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
