Came here too late to order food so we just got a drink. Got the Vietnamese espresso martini. It was diff and tasty. The bar tender was soo cool. She was super energetic and seemed happy to be there and serve. I'd love to get drinks from her again. The bar itself was super cute. We waited at the door for a while and no one ever came to greet us so we just walked to the bar. Most of the restaurant/ bars we went to already had the bar reserved so wasn't sure if that would be the case here as well. It was also close to closing time. Would return esp to try the food

From the remarkable, forest-like decor with perfect lighting for pictures (which we suspect is deliberate and therefore genius) to the delecatable, authentic tasting menu (The BB Mac rolls alone would have us come Back Here) everything about this pairing of @jeganticgroup and @trancantine lived up to what we've been hearing. The expertly designed cocktail menu is spot on and blends perfectly with the theme and food. A gorgeous bar area completes the high end supper club look. However, all this would be pointless without the fantastic, friendly, warm, welcoming and extremely attentive service. We have very rarely been treated that well and in our opinion it is what makes the difference between a good establishment and a great one. This was meticulously thought out and it shows. They even gave it a catchy name that can easily be turned into a tag line!

Great little spot for a dinner. The food was amazing, although a little over priced. We tried the $50 bowl of pho which included waygu beef, bone marrow and gold flakes, definitely a one time thing. The broth was super flavourful but there was barely any ingredients for the price. Our server was great at recommending dishes and we loved all, was also attentive. Love the decor around the restaurant and bar.

I came here 3 other friends for MTL a Table for $53 per person. - The scallop was delicious and flavourful. This was my and my friends' favourite part of the meal. - The beef salad was very good too. The beef and herbs were fresh. It's like a deconstructed pho. - The wagyu pho was delicious. The soup had a depth of flavour. But I don't think I would pay $48, the cost from their regular menu. I wish there was more substance in the pho, other than a bone marrow, a few pieces of wagyu and gold flakes. - The sea bass was moist, tender with a wonderful sweet glaze. The fish itself I would order again. However the noodle and sauce that came with dish was lacklustre. - the pandan cake was slightly dry and didn't have a pandan favour. - I had their daiquiri. The drink was great and strong. I really liked their decor. It's both classy and causal. However the music was loud and their were some customers who were very loud at the bar. Even though we made a reservation, we still didn't get seated for 30min. The food and drink also took a while to come. I wouldn't bring a date here but it's a nice place to hang out and drink.

They were so kind and the drinks were poppin'! i ended up staying out with the locals and having a great night. I ended up in the Village at karaoke! all i can say is the prices were not issue. the staff were lively and fun! this was all out of the blue on a Monday night and i was treated like royalty! **It didn't hurt i was like to the only person there was alive in 2004* lol! thank you for an amazing kick off! pro tips: you have to pay as you go there are no tabs. they take a card and will convert the dollars tips are tips! park across the block it's a short walk take a ride service... the drinks are strong AF! ultra pro tip: bring an umbrella #iykyk

We got seated in the lounge area and I ordered a dirty martini to start. Our server, Christine was so nice and I enjoyed chatting with her. I also ordered a negroni which was very good. Would definitely return and think it's a solid spot to go out for cocktails that is a little more festive than a chill bar.

And it's unclaimed here on Yelp. We found it by searching for cocktail bars on Google. Place was busy both nights we were there though! This became our after dinner drink spot for the weekend. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful, and actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs as they helped contribute to the fun relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were creative and delicious. Music they play is the typical chill/lounge/downtempo/electronic where after a while it all sounds the same, but it's perfect for the ambiance and it's not too loud. Drink menu is only available through the web site, which is annoying (to me), but easy enough to overlook.

The entrance was so fun to find and is one of the coolest speakeasy entrances I've been to. After entering there is a sign in French that says to wait to be seated and our server quickly seated us. For a late Wednesday night it was not as packed so there were many tables around us. Our server was so kind and went above and beyond to help us with our first visit! She explained the murder mystery game rules and helped us with any questions we had. The game was so fun and a perfect activity for my family since we love board games and murder mystery games. Without spoiling, there's about 6 steps to the game and we made it about halfway through before we got too tired. You can take home the clues you've solved with you and it makes for a great souvenir. Can't wait to return in the future. The drinks were delicious and so creative, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was very cool. Not sure what others were describing when they have visited but I definitely recommend this place.

THIS WAS AMAZING…read more food here was flawless, every dish was absolutely perfect and creative. the ingredients are top shelf quality and put together with tons of care. I had the most amazing meal here. Genuinely the BEST beef tartare i've ever had in my life, it was chopped perfectly and flavor wise just absolute perfection. Rich, cheesy but still fresh and the beef flavor was present and well seasoned. Focaccia was great as well, the grill flavor really stuck with me and was a perfect touch of crunch and flavor. I enjoyed my leeks as well, i've never had them prepared this way so it was a unique touch. Their cocktails were good with some nice twists on classics, I got the oolong old fashion which was a pretty classic old fashion with a slight tea after taste. the highlight of the meal though was the desert . it was brûlée bananas with a chocolate cheesecake and omg that was the best touch to the meal ever. we got the wine pairing with it as well and they went together like bread and butter. the wine was sweet but had a fruitier taste to counteract the richness of the banana and chocolate. it was the most delightful experience and wasn't a bank breaker either. service here was attentive and amazing, extremely friendly and informative. the ambiance was on the fancier side, with darker lighting. during my time in montreal, this restaurant easily took home my favorite.

The service was friendly but they seemed short staffed that night. We were trying to refill our water glasses but it took a while since I couldn't find any waiter or waitress around. Now let's start with the food: Focaccia: 5/5 bread was warm, toasty and tasty but the dip was the highlight Leeks with smoked mackerel, mustard, tobikko: (2.5/5) too creamy with a hint of mackerel and leeks Calamari chou-fleur, asian pear, chili beurre blanc: (2/5) very soupy and too much cream and not flavorful Black cod miso sauce, daikon, kale: (2.5/5) cod was tender but my bite had too much miso on it. It was extremely salty and not well balanced Beef tartare with mushrooms, Asiago: (1/5) mushy texture and way too much Asiago cheese. Flank steak with burnt chili salsa, szechuan pepper sauce, pickled peppers: (2/5) steak was not tender at all and the sauce was overwhelming Fried sea bass with bok choy, soya, nuoc mam (3/5): presentation was great but too many bones with too little meat. Flavor was good and I enjoyed the warm crispy fish with the Vietnamese style salad Overall, my special dinner was disappointing. I felt like the main ingredient never shined and their cheese or cream or sauce were just too overpowering. I really wanted to like Cadet but it fell short of my expectations.
