The salesman was upfront about their not being able to get it for at least 4 weeks, due to Covid, and could not even give me a specific delivery date. He was extremely concerned that I might get frustrated with the wait and cancel the order down the road, which I get, so he didn't play any games about promising to get it to me by such and such a date. Apparently all of the furniture stores in town were having similar issues as almost every place we went gave us the same story. Either they were quick to point out that they had it in stock or said the wait may be a bit. I guess when Covid hit the warehouses, manufacturing centers and stores shut down but people were still at home ordering products online, so once the inventory in the warehouses was used up after lockdowns were lifted and deliveries could take place again new orders went into back order status. As I mentioned, this problem appears to be across the board in all the stores we went into. So I don't have the couch yet, and will wait patently for it. The price was good though, and it's a nice couch, so I am looking forward to getting it and will provide an update once I can actually land my butt on it.

He apologized each time he had to request a bit more information and worked with us through the entire process. They honored our claim and gave us full cost replacement. Nick helped us make the right choice for our replacement with no pressure at all. He just wanted us to choose the one that best fits our needs. We have already chosen our next mattress from them and even though it was a warranty replacement we will still have the same ten-year warranty on the new mattress. We never felt pressured when shopping there as I did with some of the other places we shopped prior to choosing Beautyrest. Our son-in-law was a third-generation owner of a mattress company before closing it due to having to move and he was the one who originally recommended we shop at Beautyrest.
