Ashley has some really nice furniture, most of which is reasonably priced, so we stopped in when looking for a new sofa. We found a nice pleather sectional, which will fit our limited space in our new house wonderfully. The only hitch is that the delivery date is ... rather extended. The salesman was upfront about their not being able to get it for at least 4 weeks, due to Covid, and could not even give me a specific delivery date. He was extremely concerned that I might get frustrated with the wait and cancel the order down the road, which I get, so he didn't play any games about promising to get it to me by such and such a date. Apparently all of the furniture stores in town were having similar issues as almost every place we went gave us the same story. Either they were quick to point out that they had it in stock or said the wait may be a bit. I guess when Covid hit the warehouses, manufacturing centers and stores shut down but people were still at home ordering products online, so once the inventory in the warehouses was used up after lockdowns were lifted and deliveries could take place again new orders went into back order status. As I mentioned, this problem appears to be across the board in all the stores we went into. So I don't have the couch yet, and will wait patently for it. The price was good though, and it's a nice couch, so I am looking forward to getting it and will provide an update once I can actually land my butt on it. read more

We were sold a Nectar premium hybrid split king and was to come with a bundle package of sheets, cooling pillows and cooling mattress protector. We were also told upon delivery they would remove a mattress in spare room to haul off and move master room bed to spare room. None of that happened. We had sold spare mattress day before delivery but delivery refused to move master mattress to spare room. I begged, spoke with warehouse manager and they finally complied. We never received the bundle package only the mattress protector. Salesman Louis, was notified multiple times and continued to lie to us. He finally told us we could pick up pillows and sheets at store. We picked them up and they were cheap walmart brand mainstay sheets and Allswell cooling pillows. We called him out on this and offered to return his walmart purchase so he could get his money back, to be told he did us a favor by buying walmart brand because the serenity package that we paid 400.00 for was " cheap stuff from dollar tree" Louis never tried to be honest or make restitution for the money we spent. We will never shop Ashley again and we could have ordered the bed online cheaper and received everything we paid for. No integrity or honesty with this salesman. We did report to corporate and of course they said they would " look into it" but have heard nothing further. Do not recommend shopping here if you want full disclosure and honesty. read more

We purchased an electric reclining couch yesterday. We had already found one at Sofa City but wanted to know what Ashley had. JP Price helped us. One of the couches he showed us was the exact same couch at the other store that we wanted. He said he could do better on the price and honored a $299.00 coupon we had. Ashley is under construction and the power to the couch kept going on and off. One time the entire store power went out. JP Price just kept trying on his IPAD until he got a price and delivery date for us. He just kept sticking to it. He is also very nice. I purchase a dinning room set. When I received it the table top was damaged. I called customer service and they scheduled a new one to be delivered it also was damaged. This happened four more times. I had to take work off each time. I spoke with Alicia Ryan -Ormand and she said they would compensate $230.00 for my inconvenience. We purchased a couch and love seat Sept. of 2024. By December we noticed that the cushions were defective. Went online filled out information to open a repair ticket. It took several e-mails and visit from a repair technician to be told the design of the couch and the love seat has a defective design. The tech attempted to fix but was unsuccessful. Tech ended up coming back to our home unannounced and we were advised by technician that his boss out of St Louis told him to come back out and put additional springs in the couch. We asked when the loveseat would be fixed which was the original question. Well currently we have one couch that is fixed and one that is not. The higher up's at Ashley have just informed us that they are done and are attempting to pay us off for 360 dollars. We just want out stuff fixed. Overall Ashley will do anything to sell you something but after that there is no customer service after the sale. Their customer service team is rude and they will interrupt you in a heartbeat. We bought the sofa, ottoman and oversize chair at the back end of 2022 and it was delivered 12/29/2022. Within a week the cushions were sagging in the middle. This happened with all three seating cushions and now the ottoman. There is a year warranty so I called and got the cushions replaced. Within two weeks, the cushions were sagging again. I've flipped them over to try and make a difference, it doesn't. There are only two of us in the house and we work during the day so not a whole lot of sitting going on. There is not enough sponge on the arm rests so you can feel the wood when resting on the arm, there is nothing that can be done about this. If you place an order and receive an estimated delivery, you can expect it to be delivered 4+ months after that date! Their customer service is abysmal, every person I've talked to doesn't know what they're doing, and each time I call they give me a different "estimated date". My order has been pushed out twice already with more delays to come. Their customer service doesn't even have the good grace to call and notify you that your furniture delivery has been delayed. They wait for you to call in after the day has come and gone, and then you have to try multiple numbers and go through multiple people to get your new estimated date. And then when you finally realize you should cancel the order, you have to file a cancellation request and wait for their cancellation team to contact you, and then they charge you a cancellation fee! (FOR AN ITEM THEY DO NOT EVEN CURRENTLY HAVE AT THEIR WAREHOUSE). Purchased a table and chairs towards the end of Nov. Was told we should see it around the second week of Dec, before Christmas. Delivery was changed to Jan 1 during the 2nd week of Dec. Then delivery was changed to Jan 9. Now its been changed to Jan 11th. We had no table for the holidays, family eating on our couch was fun.. not really. We inquired on cancelling our order, Ashley strong armed us with a re-stocking fee. We agreed it to but hoped they would not charge the fee due to the incompetence of delivering our table. We were told not to deal with Ashley, but liked the table and hoped for the best. I do not recommend Ashley.... very disappointed about the hassle to receive our costume furniture. Items were picked up on 1/14/2020 almost 2 months after Ashley took our money. I will say all employees have been nice. Got to say the purchasing part of Ashley's has been fine, however the delivery portion has been one of the worst experiences in my life! We purchased the bedroom and mattress on Wednesday, was told it would be delivered on Friday. On Thursday we get a text confirming the delivery for Friday, we notice it had the wrong address. Somehow they used an old address for delivery, guess it's because we have purchased in the past with that address. Anyways we tell them the address is wrong, give them the new address which is close to the old one anyways. They tell us since it's close the Friday time will still happen. I stay at home Friday and wait for my delivery window. After that window has missed we call and find out why. They tell us since we changed the address they couldn't delivery on Friday even though the rep the previous day told us they could. When my wife got home we make a trip to Ashley's to talk to them, they end up comping us $100 or 200 then tell us they will aim for Sunday delivery but if they can't make that it will be Tuesday. Obviously with how crappy this experience has been they did NOT make the Sunday date. On Tuesday I was working so I had my mother in law home to accept the delivery. Turns out there was some issues with the furniture so they could not finish the install. When I get home I call Ashley's again, they say they will have someone come out on Wednesday. I stay at home and wait for the window. The delivery window passes, I call them they tell me the truck broke down but was on its way. At this point I'm fucking sick of this experience so I talk to another manager and tell him we just want to cancel this whole order. He is very apologetic and understanding. We end up going to another few furniture stores to shop around but at this point I'm sick of shopping so I can Ashley's again and tell them if they comp us $300 we won't cancel. They end up agreeing to this and tell us a special delivery will be made the following day on Thursday and give us a delivery window. The window was between 10-3pm, it's now 3pm and I have no call from Ashley's or the delivery service. I should also mention I called the head quarter office a few times to get more info on my deliveries and each time waiting on hold for between 30-50 mins. How many times can you screw up Ashley???!!!!! Update: I called Ashley store when they missed the last delivery, get this shit!!! They said it won't be delivered today because someone changed the address in the system. I'm beyond pissed off now, decided to drive right to Ashley's store to cancel the whole order in person. Not gonna even lie, I made a scene in the store bitching really loudly, telling potential customers how crappy this experience has been. This has been by far the worst buying experience I ever had, I even sat outside the store for 20 mins to tell random customers coming in how bad this place is. Update 2: After a day or two and cooling down a bit, we realized we couldn't find any beds we like an ordering a new one online would take awhile to deliver. Great service in the store, but I saw they had charged me 149.00 for delivery after telling me it was $99. I tried to call customer service and had to listen to 15 minutes of self-advertising and apparently customer service is too busy to give service and then hung up. The call back was one ring. Disappointing. I can see why they are rated so low. And watch out for their contract, if you want to cancel before they deliver there is a 10% charge. There are many places to shop in Springfield. If you want to really get a clue as to how indifferent they are about you call and try to get customer service. My elderly mother ordered furniture in June of 2020. That experience was good. However, now it's the middle of September and the furniture is still not here. We understood that there were supply chain issues due to COVID. At first I got texts telling me that it had been delayed, but now I get nothing. I have tried multiple times to call and there is either a voice mail machine or an operator from a customer service she can't hear me and that the phone lines "are breaking up." She hung up on me. On July 7th my family purchased 2 Axiom leather sofas, a chair and a half and an ottoman. Our total was 4,568.16 We opted to pick up the furniture ourselves. When we got it home we noticed that one sofa was barely wrapped (the other pieces were well wrapped). The one that was barely wrapped had a significant amount of damage and it was missing the pillows and feet that come with these sofas. We called and they told us that we had to bring it back to the warehouse and that they would give us another sofa. We brought it back and when my husband got there to get another sofa and the workers carried it out. My husband asked to see it and when they showed it to him this sofa was damaged as well. At this point they told us to go home and that they would have a new sofa delivered to us at no charge. On the 16th of August they came to deliver the third sofa. When the guys got here they told me to come look at the sofa because....it had some DAMAGE! I looked at it and there was a gash on the front of the sofa. I could even see a small amount of stuffing. The delivery guys called customer care for us and I spoke with a customer care rep who seemed quite frustrated with me over this situation. I asked if I could please speak to her supervisor. She said that the supervisor would call me back. They never did. It has now been well over a month since we paid a decent amount of money to Ashley Furniture. We still don't have our sofa. read more

I bought a couch there a month ago. It was priced about 1700. I put 300 down and financed the rest. I was told our delivery wouldn't be for a month. I was given a date and window, and now suddenly they only have one small piece still, after a month. And the night before we got rid of our old couch. Now the delivery has been extended to another week. I have bought furniture from many places in the past, but none like this. If you want to purchase a couch from here, plan to wait more than a month to get it delivered, and receive little answers on their end. I seen that they responded to my post after the last incident, but I never received a message from them directly. I decided to purchase a mattress from them since I already had the credit on June 10th. I am nine months pregnant and needed a new one. I figured I would give them another chance because the sales guy was really awesome. I selected a 1600 dollar mattress. It's under Brian Pech and myself. Once again, we had a set delivery date for two weeks after my purchase. The day of (after it had already been confirmed) the delivery guy sent a text saying it wouldn't be there and we had to pick a new date again (this had happened the previous year with the couch). The earliest date was three weeks later. I don't understand why if they weren't able to deliver on the date they gave, they would make me wait another three weeks. It's coming finally today. I have been miserable being pregnant in this heat and was counting on the mattress... plus it wasn't a cheap one. We had a set time for today (6 to 9) which worked after work and now they said they are coming in an hour. Everyone has told me not to go thru them because of their delivery issues but I still gave them another chance. Just a warning to anyone who pays for delivery thru them. DO NOT GO TO ASHLEY. If you want to read my story of never getting my furniture after 3 months, it is below. Ashley needs to stop selling furniture until they can catch up on their delayed orders. Their customer service is nonexistent. Not once was I offered an apology or any recompence for my situation. Not one person said please or thank you throughout this entire process. On only one phone call below did I express how frustrated I was with the whole process and it was if I hadn't spoken. Every time I was told I would receive a call, I didn't. Every time I was scheduled for a delivery, it never happened, and it was pushed back. I am posting this 12 weeks after purchasing my furniture and am starting over from square one. I am a full-time college student and also work full-time. I went to Ashley on 6/6/2020 to purchase new furniture plenty of time before school started. I was told at that time that they were delayed due to COVID and that it would be 4-6 weeks before I got my new furniture. I paid $1,889.55 for furniture and delivery and did not finance my purchase. Over the course of this, keep in mind that the phone tree for Ashley is the same whether you call the number on the pamphlet or if you call the number for the local store. When you select the option to speak with someone in sales, it will ring many times and eventually pick up on a voicemail stating the local store is open and give the hours. I attempted to call the local store this way at least 4 different times over the course of this and no one ever answered or responded to my voicemail. On 7/11/2020 I called Ashley to check on the status of everything and was given tentative dates from 7/30/20 to 9/8/20 since things were being moved from multiple warehouses to satisfy the order. On 8/11/2020 I called and was told everything was ready except for one piece that wouldn't be ready until 8/25/20. She set up a partial delivery for 8/15/2020 and said I would get a call/text/email to confirm delivery time. I never received a confirmation so I called on 8/15/20 to check on things. I was informed that there was no delivery set up and that my furniture wouldn't be ready until 8/20/20. I asked how in their system that a person could call in, be set up for delivery for furniture that was apparently ready, and then call 4 days later to find nothing was done on the account. The assistant told me that there should have been notes added to my account to indicate I had called, but none of this was done. I asked if I might have some form of proof on my end that I had called and she gave me the ticket number for the ticket she was sending to the warehouse to set up delivery for 8/20/20. She also told me I would get a confirmation call/text/email to establish a 3 hour window for delivery. On 8/18/2020 I received a call to reschedule the delivery to 8/21/20, but the only day I had off was 8/20/20 as I had already moved my work schedule to have 8/20 off for delivery on that day. She said she would put my delivery back on 8/20 (meaning it had already been taken off) and would email the warehouse and call me back. I never received a call back. I received a call on 8/19/2020 to reschedule my delivery to 8/25/20 and to update the one delayed piece would now not be available until 9/8/20. I asked what exactly the problem was as I kept being rescheduled after being told the furniture was ready. She stated it was marked as "furniture not in warehouse." I asked if I could be called when the furniture was actually in the warehouse as school was starting on 8/24/20 and I wouldn't be able to keep moving my work and soon to begin school schedule around to accommodate a delivery. She said that they can only confirm furniture is in the warehouse if there is a delivery date set. I told her then it didn't matter what day she scheduled the delivery for because I likely wouldn't be at home and it would likely be rescheduled anyway. She said she could do that and the call was ended. Later that same day, I received an automated call to confirm the original deliver date of 8/20/20 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. After work, I went to the store to cancel the order. I was told they have now created a "cancellation team" to handle the many cancellations they have been receiving. He said I would get a call by Friday (24-48 hours). He also said, if I did not receive a call, to just call the store directly and they would "handle it." I received no call. I called 8/24/2020 and relayed my current situation. She said that the order had nothing on it about cancelling and that she would send information to the Springfield store to process the cancellation. She also said she marked it "urgent" as I had been waiting since 8/19/20. She said I should receive a call in the next 24-48 hours and gave me an "ER Ticket" number. I received no call. I called 8/27/20 on my way to school to check the status of the ER Ticket. She said the resolution on the ticket stated "leaving for manager in Springfield." read more

We've been customers of Ashley for years in several different states throughout our various moves. They have such a huge selection in a variety of styles, offer great furniture protection plans, and the credit card is really worth it for the extra discounts and no interest payment periods. We have always been satisfied with both the quality of our furniture and our delivery/set-up experiences. They will also pricematch. So, if Amazon or Wayfair has an Ashley item for a better price than in the store, they will get that taken care of. I was surprised to see so many people having problems with delivery scheduling from this location. I ended up buying furniture and appliances from several different places in town to furnish my new place here, and Ashley was actually the only one that delivered my stuff both on the actual date and during the actual time window that I had been given. All of the delivery guys I interacted with were very friendly and pleasant. The other thing I enjoyed about this particular branch was how helpful everyone that we worked with was. They know their products and are really great about directing you towards things you might like once they get a sense of your taste and what you are looking for. Zero complaints there. There is only one complaint that I would mention about my experience here. They apparently keep VERY few items actually in stock at their warehouse. I went in the other day and purchased some new dining room chairs and a coffee table. I assumed that small items like that would be available for me to just drive over and pick up. Nope. Two weeks. I guess this is more economical for them, but in other cities that we have lived in, the Ashley store has kept a good stock of some of those types of smaller items and I was just able to drive my SUV over there and grab the items that I had paid for later that evening or the next day. read more

They have the WORST Customer Service EVER .... The Warranty they push on YOU is Useless!!!!! We tried to use it ... and were denied!!!!!!!! Then tried to get additional feedback and was hung up on and transferred around .... NO HELP AVAILABLE!!!! Been trying to reach the Springfield store for days now ... sitting on hold waiting for a Manager and was connected to Another UnHappy Customer That was waiting for a Manger as welllllllll!!!!!! Their information systems and communication between departments needs serious upgrading. It's truly the worst experience I have ever dealt with when ordering furniture of any kind. Will not be ordering from this corporation ever again. We specifically said to call a different number than the account number listed to confirm our order. The fort smith branch originally texted the correct number the first time; so we did not worry when the Springfield branch took over. We called two days before the order was suppose to be shipped to even clarify which number they needed to call the next day, but then when it came to the day before they called the wrong number and we were unable to confirm. So our delivery was canceled. A manager from another state had to take care of the problem because this branch and the customer service of the overall company was too incompetent or just too uncaring to try and fix the problem that they created due to lack of vigilance. Only one individual out of the 8 we dealt with did his job and cared what happened to the customer....that's pretty pathetic that only one employee actually cared. read more

I have bought a lot of furniture from the springfield location over the years. Was always a good experience. Today was totally opposite. Belligerent salesman, I called to speak to a manager and the operator told me she was not allowed to send calls to manager, then hung up on me. I called back and this time she put me through to the manager. He did not care. Very poor experience and very poor management in this location. I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

3/2/2020: It has been almost a month since I posted my review. I did get a message from someone wanting to resolve this issue. I gave them the account info they required. They forwarded this to someone in Nashville. That person left a message on my cell to call them back but they gave me a wrong number. So I gave the number they called from to my husband. Apparently the service men who showed up at our house in February still has not submitted the information needed to get the part for our couch. In this day and age using the internet the way we do and not submitting the part number promptly is totally unacceptable. We may never get the part and have our sectional fixed. Do yourself a favor and use your tax refund at another furniture store. February 2020: My husband and I bought a sectional from Ashley. It has a control panel to recline, vibrate, and keep drinks cold. I wasn't too keen on this recliner but my husband was in love so we got it. It was not a cheap sectional. We got a warranty with it. The control panel did go out as I was afraid it would. My husband called the number to have someone come look at it. They came. Pressed a few buttons...yep it was broke. We will "eventually" get the part. It could be up to "at least" 2 months!! Never again read more
