I have been a patient at this facility now for over 7 years and I will say this, when I first…read morestarted out being a patient of Stephen Holmes years ago they seemed very concerned about their patients as well as professional however I have experienced a steady and serious decline over the past year in service, and serious decline in communication within the past 6 months as well with this office. Just before making this review I literally ended a call with Crystal (Stephen Holmes Nurse) who literally argued pointlessly with myself as the patient telling me that I should know what the pharmacy is needing from the Dr office (paperwork Authorization wise) in order to fill my medication, #1 my pharmacy has stated that they have sent a request over to the Dr. office now twice within the week. #2 I have called the Dr.office now and spoke to them 3 times to make sure that they received the request from the pharmacy and all 3 times, I'm told they have not received it so I proceed to tell Crystal that I have done my part and that they (the Dr Office) needs to communicate directly with my pharmacy to get this figured out as I have been without this medicine now for 5 days and I just need this medication filled as it is for Diabetes... Crystal then says that I should know what the pharmacy is needing specifically from them and at this point I tell Crystal that ..... it is not my job to make sure that The doctors office and the pharmacy are doing their jobs! Crystal became offensive with me at the fact that I am now extremely upset and Of course it is Showing in my tone (well of course Because I just want my medication and I'm expecting now to do their job ) so Crystal now tells me that I should basically find a new doctor which I said I was going to do previously as I did not hear back from my doctors office for several days after experiencing complications on another encounter from diabetes However, I just have not had the time to do my research to find another physician! So as I sit here writing this review, I am still without my medication for the diabetes and I have been without the medication for the diabetes now for five days and have been waiting for the prescription to be filled for The diabetes for about full week while this office and my pharmacy point fingers at each other as to who has or hasn't received what and all I want and need is my prescription to be filled! This is very unprofessional and if a doctors office cannot understand why a client is upset over this and rather aggressively Becomes argumentative with the patient It's totally unacceptable Needless to say, I have no faith in this doctors office, Crystal definitely does not seem to care about about the patient And if you speak up With concern Against the lack of communication as well as The lack of concern for your health As the patient Crystal will treat you as though you should not voice that concern and are in the wrong for doing so! This is definitely not the way any patient should be treated and to leave a patient without the ability to get their much needed prescription filled for several days and end a call with telling them to find another doctor like you said you were going to do is totally unacceptable! Also, I would like to add that there was one particular time that I have Voice concern with them as my blood Sugar was in the 500 range and with concern I of course called the doctors office. He was closed at that time but left a message for the doctor to call me back and I still have yet never received a phone call back from them and this has been months ago, This has also been addressed with the doctors office which Showed absolutely zero concern for that incident as well.
