Cute little Peruvian Restaurant in Montclair. It's BYOb but they have a menu where you can order bottles for delivery. The food was ok. The potatoes were a little hard with the lomo. The octopus was a bit hard as well the ceviche was decent but not earth shattering. Overall an ok location to eat. Service was fast but there weren't many people there.

We had dinner here last night for the first time and were extremely happy with the meal. We were early for our reservation and were the only ones in the restaurant, service was great. We had corn cakes with avocado and pico, and chicken croquettes to start, both were really good. I had a fried fish and seafood in a spicy sauce, very good. My daughter had the gnocchi and beef in a yellow sauce, this was the my favorite of the dishes I tried. My wife got a salmon dish that was also very solid. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it's definitely worth a visit.

My friend and I visited Terra for Sunday brunch. We started with the octopus, which was tender and tasty, served with golden roasted potatoes. My friend ordered the burrata and beet salad while I had the ceviche mixto. Something I found interesting is that they give you the option to add heat at your own risk by providing a spoon with chopped spices. My friend really enjoyed the burrata and roasted beets. The place is BYOB with street parking available. It's only been open a few weeks, and I wish them much success. Friendly service and good suggestions. There's a beautiful mural at the back of the restaurant. The space is welcoming and warm.

We had the pleasure of eating at this AMAZING restaurant last week. The restaurant was clean and cozy with an elevated feel. The server was very kind and helpful with any questions we had about the menu. We didnt have to wait long for our food, and when it came each plate looked beautiful! We were all very pleased with our dishes and sad it was our last night in town as we would've LOVED to come back to eat. Last but definitely not least for dessert we all got the Tres Leches cake.... let me tell you... that thing was AMAZING!!! There wasnt a dry spot in the whole thing. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted even better than it looked. My husband doesn't like tres leches and he gobbled it up... lol... it was amazing I wish I could have it every week . Whoever is in the kitchen DEFINITELY knows what they are doing we ordered 3 (2 Salmon dishes and 1 Sea Bass dish not pictured) different meals and all got the tres leches and it was ALL good! If you are ever in the area I would HIGHLY recommend visiting them. I cant wait to come back next yr .

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are helpful and kind. The Berry Chia Parfait is really tasty. The fruits are crisp-cool and fresh. The coconut shavings are a subtle flavor, mixing well with the almond milk and chia to form a tasty type of pudding that is not so sweet. I like chewing on the mint periodically between bites, quite a heightening flavor with the meal. The establishment offers a variety of indoor seating as well as seating areas. The establishment is new and preparing to bring about more offerings (like more Vegan options). The establishment accepts different forms of payment. Good vibes.

What a great find for Montclair. If you're in the mood for great Peruvian food, then this is the place. The decor is hip and modern. We ordered the Spicy Rocoto Ceviche as appetizer. So fresh and great heat. For our meal we ordered the Lomo Slatado with Aii Amarillo Linguini and the Pasta Al Pesto with Chicken. What amazing flavors and so much food! We had to try the Arroz con Leche, way better than Grandmas. I highly recommend Terra for amazing Peruvian Food. We'll be back. And it's a BYOB.

Ceviche Mixto, I could live on this!

Second thing, the food was amazing, but there is a long wait which is totally fine, it is worthy but they must inform us that the wait will be lo no which they did not, this way we can kinda prepare and not be upset maybe get some extra apps. Overall the food is definitely what saves the place and you can bring your own wine which is great. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.

My husband and I came to Mr. Esquisito for a Friday night date around 7:00 p.m. We didn't need a…read morereservation, which was nice. The restaurant is small, seating only about 25-30 people, creating an intimate atmosphere. However, the lighting is so dim that I had to take a second look just to read the menu. I'll start with the positive: our waiter was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. My only criticism was that he couldn't really recommend a standout dish when we asked what the restaurant was known for. For appetizers, I ordered the octopus. Unfortunately, it was inconsistent. Half was perfectly tender, while the other half was so tough it was difficult to chew. It was served over an ajillo sauce that was good, but not enough to save the dish. My husband ordered empanadas. The steak filling was much better than the chicken. He asked if he could order one steak, one shrimp, and one chicken, but was told they don't allow mixing flavors. For my entrée, I ordered the ribeye with white rice and beans and added a lobster tail with butter sauce. The ribeye itself was cooked well, but the sides were disappointing. The beans had a strange flavor, and the rice was mushy and completely lacked seasoning. The lobster tail was fine, but nothing special. The ribeye was $58, and adding the lobster tail brought the plate to $72. At that price point, I expected an exceptional meal, not one where the sides were the weakest part of the plate. My husband ordered the skirt steak with peppers, French fries, and maduros. His steak was good, but we both agreed the side options felt like an odd combination. The menu could definitely use some more thoughtful pairings. We boxed up our leftovers, but unfortunately the food didn't even reheat well the next day. Our bill came to $233 for two people. On top of that, gratuity was automatically added, and there was a $10 fee for paying with a debit card. That was an unpleasant surprise and made an already expensive meal feel even more overpriced. For over $200, I expect to leave saying, "I can't wait to come back." Instead, I left feeling like I had paid Manhattan prices for a very average meal. Unfortunately, this wasn't the experience we were hoping for, and I don't think we'll be back. FYI: everything says M/P on it for Market Price. Which means they can charge you what they see fit which gives me an inconsistent vibe.

My friend and I asked if they sell pan con chicharrón, and though they don't have it on the menu, the chef (Brian) said he'd make it for us! First impression of the service ... amazing. We got the pan con chicharrón and I truly almost cried! I have not had one as delicious as this one in Jersey! The pork was tender, yet nicely fried, and there was not as much fat on it which is always hard as the fat gives it the flavor but too much can be overpowering. After talking to the chef, he mentioned that it is no longer on the menu because people didn't really order it ... so here I am, asking you all to go in and order it, so it can hopefully go back on the menu and everyone can try authentic and delicious Peruvian breakfast!! HUGE shoutout to Brian for creating something that brought both me and my friend a true sense of home
