Pretty good place , I went during lunch for my birthday. The service was great and the hot and cold bar had a lot of options. The flank steak was out of this world and my favorite thing I got. They also gave me a free birthday dessert. I will say I didn't know they charged for bottles of water that they frequently offer and refill so just beware of that. Overall good experience but not somewhere I'd go often

I have never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse, but Terra Gaucha was a very fun and delicious experience. The food surpassed any and all expectations, and I greatly enjoyed the buffet style experience and kept going back for seconds. The location is large and has a lively, fun atmosphere. Our service was great and all the staff was very attentive and helpful.

Another wonderful experience at Terra Gaucha! We took the opportunity to stop in for an earlier meal and enjoyed their lunch hours from 11 to 2 PM Monday through Friday (longer hours that extend through the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday). The lunch menu offers all of the evening experience only at a lower price and gives you a little extra time to digest as there are just too many goodies, both on their salad bar and on their meat selection, to turn anything down! As always, the restaurant was immaculate, cozy with some Brazilian jazz playing to offer a relaxing afternoon. The staff was amazingly attentive, and I know that we will be back again to enjoy this time of the day, which is a little more laid-back. All I have to say is run, don't walk, to this wonderful Omaha restaurant. Take note that this restaurant is also offering wine, pairing dinners, and special discounts for veterans in the month of November. Check their website for additional information.

Terra Gaucha has continued to impress on follow up visits. If you want to eat in an upscale environment while also eating unlimited meat, this is the place to go. Atmosphere and service is exceptional!

I really liked Terra gaucha! I loved all the different cuts of meat I got to try - sirloin, New York strip, filet, chicken wings, and brisket! They also had the cold salad bar and the hot bar, and grilled pineapple that was delicious! The servers with the meat came around often and checked in if we needed more water. My only downside is the price tag - $60 per person. I ate a lot but I'm not sure if I got my moneys worth. Overall this would be a great place for a celebration but a bit much for everyday.

I stopped in for a quick lunch here and just did the salad bar and trust me that is way more than enough food and very reasonable for $20. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. All the meat walking by to the other tables was very enticing so I will for sure have to come back and do the full experience next time. The salad bar appeared very well maintained I definitely cannot list out everything here but seriously great selection. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was very open, lively and comfortable.

A welcome addition to the West Omaha food scene. Terra Gaucha is a Brazilian Steakhouse that appears to be very popular during our first visit. Dining room is large and separated into three distinct areas. Main dining room and two outer areas that are very bright with large windows Very important to make a reservation through Open Table. Can't guarantee a table if you do a walk in. The restaurant has a great hot and cold bar with a large variety of options to choose from. Start off with a lobster bisque or black beans and rice or a little taste of beef stroganoff. Try the shrimp ceviche on the salad bar. Lots of tasty items to choose from, but don't fill up on this. Every table gets polenta with Parmesan as well as cheesy biscuits which are delicious. The table also gets mashed potatoes (very tasty), and baked banana's with cinnamon sugar. Gaucho's walk the floor with a variety of meats and seafood to choose from and they will slice it off the skewers and serve it directly to you. Selections include filet, top sirloin, lamb, pork, shrimp, salmon and a number of other things. There are also large pieces of grilled pineapple. Wine list is pretty decent. Any leftover wine can be corked and then sealed in a plastic bag for transport. Dessert selection is large. Choices include flan, crème brûlée, passion fruit mousse, cheesecake, molten lava cake and key lime pie. Flan and Passion fruit mousse are very good. Service was excellent. If you don't see something coming out or you want it a bit more well done, just ask and they will cook up some special for you. Kind of pricey, but worth it especially if you are doing as part of a special event/night.

I first visited Terra Gaucha with the Yelp Elite Squad (woot!) and my husband was so jealous when I waxed nostalgic about how great it was, that he demanded we go, FOUR days after my Yelp event visit. I had been to Brazilian Steakhouses (churascarrias) in Brazil, and Terra Gaucha was honestly the closest to the style of the actual Brazilian versions. Two of our servers who we chatted with were both actually from Brazil, which is awesome. Our Yelp Event had been in the side room that is sometimes used for events, but when we went back as normal diners, we sat in the main dining area. Both areas are very nice and upscale with black, white, woods, and glass. When we were seated, the bread course was already being served. Little cheesy puff pastry buns and polenta cakes. Both were delicious, but I think my favorite was the warm little cheesy bun! We next went to the salad bar, which is so impressive with a ton of options. Our favorites from the cold salad bar were the shrimp ceviche, wedge salad, tortellini, and the apple salad. The hot bar faves were the stroganoff, lobster bisque and corn bread (tip: dip the corn bread in the lobster bisque - so good!) The meat courses were brought out by the gauchos, and they were all super friendly and patient with me and my husband when we asked for clarification on which cut of meat they had brought us, etc. Just all around great service from everyone we interacted with. My favorites were the salmon, the grilled shrimp, the filet (so buttery!), the pork sausages, and the top sirloin. At our Yelp Elite Event, there was a BACON wrapped filet, which I didn't see the night we went back, but definitely grab that if you see it when you go! Although we didn't feel like we could eat one more bite, we did decide to try a few desserts and share. My husband got the Tres Leches, which was so creamy and delicate, so tasty with the cake soaking in the milky cream below. For my dessert choice, I got the Tiramisu (my favorite dessert). It was decadent, sweet, and covered in lots of chocolate, espresso dust, and blueberries and cherries. So good, but it was a very large piece, just like the Tres Leches, so we could not finish either dessert. I recommend just getting one dessert and splitting it. I loved that I got to try Terra Gaucha again as a normal customer, just a few days after trying them at the Yelp event. The service and variety of food courses were right on par with our Yelp Event. Even though it's a bit spendy, just like any steakhouse, you definitely get your money's worth at Terra Gaucha, along with great staff, and wonderful ambiance!

    House flan for our anniversary!

On an otherwise eventful weekday, my husband and I drove right past Terra Gaucha in search of an anniversary meal at village point... But this caught my eye, and a quick Google search drew us in. Beyond the actual food LOOKING good online, we went for it as a spur of the moment stop because it felt like the closest thing we could get to feeling truly vacation-spoiled like at a fancy resort And we are both SO GLAD we changed course! This meal was the best we've had in quite some time. We both really appreciated the vast variety at the salad bar - anything from fruits and vegetables to pre-made potato and macaroni salads, cheese boards, tons of fresh and unique toppings that you wouldn't typically throw together for your salad at home. I loved every bite of this course! Then, you're served Brazilian cheese bread which is such a unique piece - light and airy but flavorful and satisfying. And then come the meats! Turn your "coin" to "ready" and you'll be paraded with fresh bites of filet mignon, chicken drumsticks, pork options, lamp chops, and way too many more for me to name. The beef options were our particular favorite, but I truly couldn't even recall which by the end of the meal haha! Then, our server asked if we'd been here for any specific reason and delighted us with a dessert - we got the flan, and enjoyed the extra treat for a few bites and had to take it to go after that big feast!

One of the best experiences I had with a restaurant in a while. As soon as you walk you can see all their servers walking around with different cuts of meat, it gets you excited to sit down and eat! On the salad bar they have a wide selection of delicious food, from cheeses, to lobster bisque to cured meats. It a lot of options! The place is packed so it make it a little hard navigate it is not bad. The waiters are fast at picking your plate and bringing you a new one so you can go get more. The desserts were alright but I wasn't there for that. I would recommend anyone this place if you want amazing food!

Stopped in to Terra Gaucha last night for happy hour, served Mon-fri 4:30-6:00 in the bar only. We were the only ones there which was fine but it really is a lovely place. Big change from the Charleston's previously in that building. Ambiance is nice and bartender was friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable at happy hour although no food or appetizers available at that time. Unknowing to us, they do bring out complimentary appetizers! We were served a bowl of their parmesan cheese puffs and fried polenta sticks (crispy corn fritters). The cheese puffs were warm and fluffy (reminded me of a popover) with parm cheese baked in the dough. The fried polenta sprinkled with grated parmesan was different but in a good way, I found myself having a hard time putting them down. Both were a very nice and unexpected treat. I recommend stopping and checking them out, and if you have dinner reservations be sure to go early to take advantage of the happy hour prices.

The good - the food was SO good, I enjoyed their special the best as far as the meat service went. They had plenty of options walking around. The salad bar was well stocked and had high quality items. The service was phenomenal, plates were removed quickly and the staff was well trained. The not so good- the price felt excessive, we were also informed the mimosas came with our meals but they were an extra charge... Would come back but only for a special occasion as it's good but not something I feel good spending that much money on.

Beautiful transformation from the old Charleston's

This is the third brand of Brazilian steakhouses that I have experienced and this was by far the best. The servers were quick at the table. There was a constant and abundant flow of meat selections brought to our table. Everything I selected was prepared and seasoned just right. The offerings included chicken, pork, shrimp, and for beef you are asked if you want rare, medium, or well-done. They will find it for you from their sword full of meat and begin slicing away. The only thing I wish they did is have the name of the meat on a button or something. It would help greatly. The cold salad bar is so incredibly full of choices. There are unique choices along with traditional salad choices. I was especially anxious to try the mushroom filled with chickpeas and other ingredients. DELICIOUS! Other choices were spot on too. Unfortunately, I paced myself too well with the meat that I did not get a return trip to the cold bar! The warm bar was more limited. I tried a little bit of this, a little bit of that. I was impressed, like our staff server suggested, with the beef stroganoff. It's worth a try. Overall, this is a fun place to enjoy a meal and company. This place is prime for conversations while you dine. And you know what? It's FUN conversation. There's so much to talk about. They did an awesome job transforming an old restaurant (which relocated) into Terra Gaucha. It's beautiful inside and out. You can dress up but I would not dress down too much. Be respectful. Eating here is an experience. The staff is attentive and buzzing all over the place, honestly.
