Our first time at the Shadowlake location, it's nice! Loved the murals and neon lights. We've been to the original location off of 36th and this one was just as good. We always have to get the Camarones Roca, jumbo shrimp in bang bang sauce. Chefs kiss! The birria quesadilla was huge and was filled with tender beef and the consume for dipping. We also got the tostada especial and thought it would be a small portion, wrong! It was also huge, I'm not complaining! Filled with shrimp, scallops, octopus, avocado and more. I can't remember the name of the drink, but it was also very good with mezcal, anchovies and tamarind. Id definitely order it again. Great experience, service was quick and our server very nicer. You should check this place out.

We've been to their main location, but this was the first time visiting this location in Shadow Lake. Amongst the chaotic crowd in the vicinity, we were able to grab a table and order promptly. Our server was attentive, but not overly distracting. My margarita was great, and my Birria quesadilla was delicious. I was quite surprised with how large the quesadilla was, and it was loaded with meat and cheese. I do wish they offered some type of dip besides guacamole, even though I love guacamole. I think a good homemade salsa or cheese dip would be great to add to their menu.

My wife and I stop by for dinner Saturday night amongst the chaos in shadow Lake for their tree lighting ceremony. Our server was very friendly and provided great service even though she was very shy. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of meat in my fajita trio and ended up taking a ton home for leftovers. They served the fajitas with one large flour tortilla, but I wish they would offer smaller ones instead of having to pull apart the tortilla. I was shocked to see my sides included a mayonnaise/pasta salad and Mexican rice. I do wish they offered salsa or pico tableside, or I wish they offered something besides guacamole as an appetizer for some type of dip. Overall great experience, and I will definitely be ordering the fajitas again because they are delicious.

The Ribeye and everything that it comes with. It was $33 and worth every penny!

My wife and I went here for dinner not knowing what to expect. This restaurant opened in the old Mas Chingon location in Shadow Lake and we thought we would give it a try. This was a very pleasant experience for us. The service was amazing, the layout is still similar but a little more upscale. The food though, it was amazing. I ordered the ribeye because it sounded good thinking I would get the steak and a side of rice and beans or something similar. It came out as a whole platter and was absolutely delicious! My wife ordered Sushi which she was happy that she only ordered one roll because the portions here are huge! We will definitely be coming back to this location and bringing our kids. The menu is very diverse and has something for everyone!

If you've not been to one of the Isla Del Mar locations do yourself a favor and go. The food was incredible (I had the shrimp in bang bang sauce and the amazing sangria)! The atmosphere was great and the service even better. If you go to the Shadow Lake location ask for Daniel. He took excellent care of us! We will definitely be back!

Small portions, high prices, I ordered a shrimp ceviche tower and it was fish, with just 2 whole shrimp on top, never again

I will start off by saying that the staff here were all excellent, everyone was warm and friendly. The atmosphere was fine, it is in a new build in the middle of a suburban area, so it was about what i expected, it was nice and laid back. My wife ordered two of their specialty cocktails and they were both very good, I liked the queen bee the best. The food was very good as well, we started with a beef wonton appetizer, it was really good, it had nice pieces of rare beef with onions, slaw, and sauce on some very crispy wontons. We ordered the marsala glazed chicken and the meatloaf for our main courses, and both did not disappoint. The marsala chicken was tender and flavored well, and came on a bed of risotto and Brussels sprouts, the sprouts were excellent and all three ingredients worked very well together. The meatloaf was also excellent, it came topped with a tomato based gravy on top that had a great homemade taste, and the mashed potatoes were amazing, some of the best I've had in a while. We wanted dessert, but we're too full after a great meal.

The steak on the wontons was super tender. I had the Alpine Chicken Sandwich and I did enjoy the flavors however it was a bit dry. One in our party ordered the seafood risotto and wasn't too happy with it. The patio looked inviting. Would be nice to sit outside for some apps. I'd give them another try for sure and order something else. The restaurant was very large and didn't seem over loud with all of the people there.

Popcorn and Cocktails (PaC) is such a cool idea for a business…read more The interior is so cute and almost a 20s vintage vibe with a cool Omaha mural. We first visited PaC at a Yelp event, but now we are hooked on their popcorn! The cocktails portion of Popcorn and Cocktails is nothing to sneeze at either. They are super smooth and flavorful, and the perfect pairing with a little side of popcorn. They even have pairings on their menu that show you which popcorns go best with each cocktail (and each cocktail actually comes with a side of that popcorn). If you like your side of popcorn that came with your cocktail, you can also purchase a large bag of it to take home! Our favorite popcorns have been the French Toast, Bourbon Bacon Cheddar, and Peanut Butter. They have popcorns for every craving - savory or sweet. And the cocktail we've liked the best was the Summer Peach - which literally came with a peach candy on the rim! So easy to drink and a little sweet. Popcorn with cocktails might sound like an odd combination, but PaC does it perfectly and will convert you to a fan of this combo!!

It was actually better once it was a bit melted so the peanut butter can come through. The Old Fashioned and French 75 were excellent. Love the the cup of popcorn and the the flavors! What a great hook. Perfect bar for "grownups" who want a nice drink in a chill setting. It's women owned, always a plus.
