We stopped in today and got sandwhiches, carnitas & turkey with avocado. I didn't care for my turkey sandwhich-thin slice of turkey with no flavor.I ate half of one half, husband shared his carnitas sandwich and that was good. I don't think we'd come back.

Nutella croissant and hot chocolate mocha

Terra's Cafe was really good. I got the chocolate Nutella croissant -- it says Nutella, but honestly it tasted more like a soft chocolate filling. Still super good though, flaky and fresh. I also got a hot chocolate mocha and I loved how strong the coffee flavor was. Everything together was around $15, which honestly isn't bad for the quality. The interior is really pretty and cozy, and they also have a little table outside so you can enjoy the Old Sacramento vibe while you eat. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area.

Such a nice, welcoming coffee shop with a cozy vibe. You can really tell the drinks are handcrafted with care. I had the matcha lavender latte, and it was the perfect combination--smooth, balanced, and not overpowering. The pumpkin muffin was moist and flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness. Everything felt thoughtfully made. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy a quality drink and treat.

We stopped in for a coffee while in Old Sac. I've had this spot on my list to try and it's a small but very cute cafe. Since it's Old Sac it does get busy during peak hours but at 9am on a Saturday it was calm and there was no line. The person who greeted us was friendly and we made some small talk about events happening in the area. I ordered the hot 16oz Coconut Macchiato ($7.95) and the flavors were well balanced- you could taste the coconut, but it wasn't too sweet. It was a great way to start the morning and I took the coffee to go, but there are tables inside as well as outside to stay and enjoy food/drinks.

I've always wanted to visit this cafe in old sac and had the chance to do that today! The service was friendly, quick and superb! It was around 45 mins til closing so I get that they're tidying as they serve customers and were rushing. They were about to close the kitchen, but they were able to put in my request for a chicken chipotle burrito (super kind of them even though I was fine without!) The inside of the place looked modern and simplistic. I liked the sleek and clean look! It also looked cozy and feels like a good spot to chill with 2-3 friends or do some work. I got the strawberry matcha latte, mocha frappe, and chicken chipotle burrito. - 5/5 strawberry matcha latte: It tasted good! It wasn't watery, and has a nice matcha flavor and consistency. I do wish for a bit more strawberry puree because it was a lot of matcha but not much strawberry. I will definitely get this again. - 5/5 mocha frappe: Also another good drink! I liked the mocha flavor. It wasn't overpowering, but also not light. Do drink it quick or else it melts instantly! - 3/5 chicken chipotle burrito: I love how big and cheesy the burrito is! It's not my personal favorite because the burrito ingredients seemed pre-mixed and wet on the inside with the sauce, cheese, and beans. I did see the description of what's in the burrito before ordering, but comparing my picture to theirs on their website, their rice and beans were dry while mine looked gloopy. It isn't a bad burrito, but I didn't prefer it. I'd definitely come back again to try more drinks and their sandwiches!

I got a warmed up chocolate Croissant and tiramisu latte, they were so insanely good! They barrister was wonderful! Will be back

Turkey avocado sandwich

I was staying at a hotel near by and needed to stop somewhere for coffee and a quick bite. After doing my yelp research, Terra Forte was where I opted to go. I was torn between their three specialty drinks--marzipan latte, tiramisu latte, and coconut macchiato. I ended up going with the marzipan because I've never had one before and it's what the girl working recommended. I got it hot. It was spot on and so yummy. Tasted just like the candy but in drink form. I'm not sure how much espresso was actually in there but it is delicious. To eat I got the turkey avocado sandwich. The bread is soft and yummy, the cheese pairs nicely and it's just overall a good sandwich. Good staff, clean cafe, it was quite empty when I stopped by and quick service. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again

This place is so yummy and cute! The carnitas sandhwich is spicyyy so be careful!! Matcha is good and I got the salted Carmel iced mocha also pretty tasty!

Yummy and refreshing. Decor is simple and elegant. The pastries looked amazing but only got a drink. Fast service and they were a bit busy.

I was able to visit this cute Cafe last Friday morning while walking in Old Sac. It has one of the best reviews in Old Sac and I wanted to their Chai! Loved it, my girlfriend got a matcha latte as well as a breakfast sandwich. Both were really good, and reasonably priced. Since it was a Friday morning, it was a little slow with plenty of places to sit. Staff was also very friendly!

Unlucky for me they didn't have dry ice for the effect I wanted to see of smoke from the trunk. They had more designs of figures for the smoke effect. I bought 4 to try it at home. I asked where to get dry ice and the lady had said I could get it at any grocery store. I looked up online before and it said the same thing but Safeway didn't have it when I tried looking for dry ice the next day. So I'm still on a mission to find dry ice to experience the smoke effect. The lady here said I could come back the next day to see it and I tried to but unfortunately I didn't have time the next day to stop by. She let her employees know but sadly I didn't make it back. They have dry ice usually on the weekends now since summer is over when they had more customers wanting to get these but now during slower days they opt to have dry ice on the busier days. I do want to try their Ube drinks so there will be a next time. I got an iced white chocolate to be simple. Delicious. The service and drinks is definitely a reason I will come back.

I chose the matcha and Oreo tiramisu. Both looked creamy and indulgent, with generous portions that appeared large enough to share. Service was great, and the drink selection was almost overwhelming--in the best way. There were so many milk teas, fruit teas, espresso drinks, matcha creations, frappes, and specialty coffees that I gave up trying to choose and got water this time. One of the coolest options is the ability to order two different drinks in one divided cup. It's perfect for anyone who can never decide on just one flavor. I'll definitely return to try more tiramisu flavors and work my way through the drink menu. The Kid loves everything matcha, coffee, and specialty-drink related, so she'll be joining me next time.

There's different Filipino/Hawaiian dishes like a katsu, loco moco, and longanisa. They had baked goodies like ube muffins and pandan cookies. For drinks they were plenty of coffees, lattes, and teas. It was pretty busy so it took a while for our food to come out. Any time we visit Sac, it is one of our go-to spots! They do an excellent job of sourcing their coffee beans along with roasting them. They've gotten exceptionally good at standardizing their drinks across the board as well. We have also tried many of their drinks outside of what we ordered today, including the 1987, 18 to the Brain, Thai Coffee, and Mexican Mocha. They have a food menu as well, which ranges from rice bowls to breakfast sandwiches. It's a great place to go to meet with friends, studying, or working on a project. They also have a good amount of seating inside, but it does fill up quickly! They do have WiFi (and outlets) and one single bathroom. Given we have been coming here for years, it is a must whenever you're in the Arden area!

The chilli wonton soup was genuinely good, probably the standout for me. I'd happily go back for that. The cinnamon rolls were alright. I tried the Biscoff Crunch, Dubai Pistachio with Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, and Banana Pudding flavours. They looked the part and were decent enough, but nothing that had me thinking, "Bloody hell, I need another one of these." The waffles, unfortunately, were a different story. They weren't cooked properly through the middle, chewy and gooey rather than crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The Biscoff flavour was also barely noticeable. The drinks are very much geared towards the social-media crowd: lots of milk, lots of toppings, lots of visual appeal. If you enjoy taking a photo of your drink before taking a sip, you'll probably have a field day. And then there's the price. For what you're actually getting, it feels rather steep. The food is, at best, mediocre in several areas, yet the prices seem to suggest these ingredients were mined personally by King Charles. Ironically, I actually would have gone back for the chilli wontons, banana pudding and Biscoff pudding. But the experience around their influencer/collaboration side left a rather sour taste. If you're a collaborator or influencer, BE WARNED! No real communication or courtesy message. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but if you're going to deal with people, a simple response goes a long way. But then again, they perhaps cherry-pick whom to interact with based on their social media activity. And finally, watching someone at the counter struggle with some basic maths while taking an order was certainly an experience. I'm all for supporting people, but perhaps the calculator deserves a little more screen time than the Instagram account. Overall: some genuinely good items buried underneath a lot of hype, presentation and rather ambitious pricing. I'd happily return for a couple of the things I enjoyed, but I wouldn't be rushing back for the overall experience. Food: 3/10 Value: 2/10 Presentation: 8/10 Social-media appeal: 10/10 Would I return? For the chilli wontons and a couple of puddings, yes. For the rest... probably not.
