From start to finish Terminix was great to work with. From Marcello doing the inspection and Rosario and crew doing the tenting. It went very smoothly and everyone was very professional. Someone even bagged up some spices & beans we forgot to do before the tenting. Super nice!!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They really just don't know what they're doing nor do they talk to one another about the issues going on in my home and my tenants. The price is NOT worth the low amount of work they performed. I called them due to rats being active in my home and they scheduled an appointment. Once they came out the first guy was nice and was quick to setup traps but he did not seem super knowledgeable. He did hand me some extras to put outside if I spotted them in my shed. After this it went downhill. The next technician came out and he took away a rat in the attic and I asked him if he saw the holes the 1st guy mentioned and he was confused. He said there were no entry points in the attic which was a relief as I just had a new roof installed. He hesitantly admitted the technicians don't talk to one another and he doesn't know what happened the 1st visit. He was just here to remove the dead body and reset the trap. After that it was hard to schedule an appointment and they once even didn't show up. My tenant had an even harder time as a technician said he didn't want to perform work here anymore and refused and left. We had a 3rd technician come out and he said he could walk around and try to identify where they are coming in from. Once we found a new entry points he said it would be a few thousand dollars to seal them up and at that point I should hire them to remove all the insulation in the attic. I said no and I already saw ads to have my insulation removed for a few hundred dollars. He said that's not possible and to show proof that it was true. I said no and he said I must not have read the ad right and left. It was also incredibly hard to cancel the membership fee. It took several emails to finally get it through I didn't want them anymore. Stay away!! read more

If I could give them a zero stars rating I would. This company is incredibly deceitful. They made a mess of my yard while they were tenting my home. They promised that I wouldn't have to pay for any kind of a warranty I specifically stated I didn't want one. It was even in an email. Yet they charged me $300 at the end of one year. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card because they would not remove it. They just wouldn't call me back and they would not credit my card. What a pathetically unprofessional company do not go with them! read more

Three times called for removal of an animal in my home. No one showed up and I even asked for confirmation number someone was coming the next day. No one came no one called again, nothing. Third call I told them again no one showed up and I told them this is my confirmation number. I was told they don't give out those. I asked why did they give me one yesterday. Said I don't know. You can not talk to an actual Terminix office or employee. Their calls are only a call center. I even told them, how is Terminix even getting business this way!!! read more

I was a customer for about 20 years and I was satisfied with the service until they requested in get an inspection. I agreed to the inspection, which was a huge mistake. I am 82 years old, hard of hearing. The inspector told me I had termite damage and the cost would be $297.84. I agreed to get the work done and signed the quote. The work was canceled. I was shocked when I checked my credit card charges and discover i had been charged, not $297.84, but a whopping $2979.94 I tried to call terminex office but I kept getting an 800.number. I was told someone would call me from terminex . I haven't received a call after waiting for 6 days. If you use terminex I highly recommend you cancel the service ASAP. read more

I paid $340 to rid my tiny yard of moles. I got a guy who stuck a tube in my backyard for 20 minutes. He said that it wouldn't actually DO anything to get rid of the moles. And it didn't. When I called to complain, I was fobbed off with promises to "look into it" until my 30 day warranty was up. I still have moles, and I am poorer by $340. read more

My review is specifically for the technician, Charles Selvage. We were on his route for years until the company remapped the areas and we lost him. He did such a thorough job every visit. And so personable and nice. My son and I looked forward to seeing him. I don't think the company understood how well that reflected on them. Recently Charles covered his old route for the other technician and it was great to see him again. And he knew exactly what to do on my property and working around the cat enclosures. He gets my 5 stars!! read more

World's worst customer service. The phone folks are very polite. But the company must be full of loser managers. I recall having the same experience a few years ago. Most recently I called for service under our many years long commercial policy. I have an obvious termite issue. I was scheduled by a phone person 3 different times. All 3 times I stayed home the two-hour period set for the technician visit. All three times they "no showed". And no call. No apology. No attempt to reschedule. If you can avoid using Terminix, you might be better off. read more

I called to cancel service, as our last bill was $178 and was offered the same service for $78 with no future increases. The representative commented that we should have called sooner as we could have saved more money. She told us the "plan" we were on had annual increases. When we started with Terminix, 23 years ago, we were never told there were different 'plans'. I did call 5 years ago to see if there was a senior discount. I was informed that there was only one standard rate. I asked to speak to their complaint department and was told they did not have a complaint department. The dishonesty and price gouging is appalling. read more

Really disappointed in their workmanship, but more in their refusal to communicate honestly with us. After many attempts to resolve the problem with 2 different supervisors who admitted there were problems with their repairs, and who said they would address it, but then disappeared into the marshlands, breathing through reeds underwater so as not to be found. I've had these guys for over 20 years, but it appears the company has been bought out by Bozos who don't know what or how and really just don't give a damn. Done with them. read more

Okay service. They cancel on customers a lot for any extra services they're supposed to provide as part of your supposed membership. They had someone come out and check for termites and the guy completely defaced portions of our deck by chipping it apart / poking holes into the wood etc...This was how he showed us where there's damage that we might want or might not want to be taken care of by their termite treatment . I guess that's all they're worried about because he didn't offer to fix the newly damaged deck wood. We did not want the termite service, but were left with having to fix our newly damaged deck. read more

We recently ended our contract with Terminix. We were going to paint the exterior of our house and when walking around with the painter, we noticed some termite damage. The damage was on the second story soffit over a small tiled garage roof extension. I got up there and realized it was quite extensive after digging around a bit (see photos). I saw a live termite then called Terminex, a company that we had been with for a while. They told us that they can't do anything unless we have a video of a live termite. I tried digging around but was unable to get a video. It's difficult to dig around holding a camera on a tile roof. They said that they would send someone out. After he got here he said that he wasn't going to get on the roof and they would send another person out that can stand on the roof. The next person came out and stuck a ladder against the second story roof and tried to take pictures. What he was doing looked pretty useless. We called the company back and they said they couldn't do anything. Mind you, we had paid our contracts for years (probably thousands of dollars) and this was not the service we expected. We immediately canceled the contract. I treated the area myself and patched it before painting but was furious at this company. Stay away from them, they are useless when you need them. Just so you know, we didn't start out with this company and the original company (which was very good) had been bought out by Terminix. read more

I reached out to turn x representative customer service Yesterday 11/12/2025 to report that I still see insects.Despite the fact, they have been out several times to spray for ants, spiders, bugs rotents and other insects bugs pincher bugs. I had an unpleasant experience to speak with brianna. She was not cordial spoke over me.And didn't listen to my concerns completely. I did escalate and request to speak with a supervisor our leadership. She came back on the phone and informed me that Michael. the supervisor, we'll not come to the phone to speak with the consumer/ me. And indicated that she, the agent will be able to take care of any of my concerns and did not come to the phone To hear me as a client and to address my concerns or issues. DO NOT USE TERMINEX. THEY ARE DISHONEST. I had their insurance for 17 years. Annual inspections, paying $700+ annually ...so I go to sell my home and realtor had an independent inspector give a 2nd opinion the Same day terminex inspected and said 'no termite evidence'.. funny. Independent finds thousands of dollars damage needs repair (that my terminex insurance wouldve had to cover, if Terminex found it! Their customer service was terrible leading up to my final inspection also . Please find a reputable, honest company....I'm disgusted by Terminex after all my loyalty to them.. read more

I have had a service contract for many years. It seems after they tent your house they never want to do it again in spite of evidence of activity. I noticed rodent activity as I also have contract for that as well. Customer service would not schedule a rodent person until they check for themselves and then send someone to set traps. So two visits that could be done in one. I asked to speak to a supervisor twice but no return call, they just wanted my renewal money. So I didn't renew, then I get a collection notice threatening to send me to collections. I called and Brenda said oh you were one of the ones that got the letter by mistake. Do not use this company . Our initial termite and pest control was scheduled was done in 2024. I was disappointed then but I thought to give Terminix a second chance. Before I gave Terminix guy my payment I made sure that both pest and termite are covered for $335.98 and I made sure to ask Rebecca , who scheduled the appointment, again that both are covered for said amount. When the nice gentleman, Isaiah, came,I verified if both are covered , he said no so I refused his service because I felt misled by Terminix again. WARNING: do not use Terminix. Unreliable employees who do follow-up when there is a big concerning problem relating to their services. They will lie and tell you they have resolved your issue so they can cover their mistake. Felipe--the salesman, complete bullshit. Only cares to make his sales than go throughly and do his job. Then you have higher up's, Jim & Chris who are complete liars. WARNING: Terminix subcontracts third parties to do the actual termite service. They damaged our security cameras, and brand new carpet... Chris & Jim lied they will be reimbursing us. We are considering taking this further because we have not heard from anyone! All you have to do is read these reviews and see the common thread, deceitful, lack of communication, no follow up and poor quality of work. When I signed the contract with Caleb, he said that Terminix would do the tenting on my residence, not subbed out to another company...wrong. The Pest Group, a sub contractor for Terminix put the tent up. The Pest Group are some ex-employees of Terminix, started their own company when Terminix got rid of their tent crew. The tent went on as planned, and off as planned. They damaged my rain gutters, broke a security light (found a pink note with it after they left) and left my property a mess. Contacted Terminix, "you need to contact The Pest Group to get fixed" It needs to be replaced, you can't "fix" a bent rain gutter! The local Terminix office (Wayne) called me 2 weeks after I called the 800 number for Terminix Customer Service. "The contract you signed relives us of any damage" is basically what I received. Local Management team will not return calls. To many other options out there than Terminix! You've been warned! read more

The technician from Terminix did an inspection on my home and caused massive damage with much defacement to my property. Full disclosure; I didn't get a chance to experience the quality of work thanks to the Terminix representative who arrived at my house. I received a text from this gentlemen about 90 minutes prior to my appointment window stating he will arrive within 30 minutes. I respond with my disagreement to the schedule change due to having an appointment from 4-4:45 (my kids swim lesson). I got no text response from the driver. At 3:50pm, my doorbell rings and it is Terminix completely disregarding my objection to the last-minute change to the plan. He stated that I was the last appointment for the day. I can only assume he wants to get home himself. I told him (again) that I cannot shift my schedule with 90-minutes notice. As I leave for my kids swim lesson, dude creeps us all out staying parked in front of our house. read more

Horrible service! I knew I had at least one mouse under my modular home. We could he hear scratching. So glad I decided to get 3 estimates and not go with Terminix! The kid( mid to late 20's) that came out told me he'd only been doing pest control for 6 months (I asked him) which was a red flag. He went underneath the house to check things out. He Only went on one side until I asked him to go underneath on the other side! He should have done this without being told by me! He came out and told me he saw a lot of RAT droppings, maybe a nest of babies that he could hear squeaking but didn't look at or see, water under the house and the kicker was that the house was not level, allowing pests in. He also showed me at least a dozen places where HE SAID pests were coming in. He told me I would need the WHOLE perimeter of the house to be sealed and wire put up. $4000! Was the cost! I'm a single gal in her 60's on a fixed income and this freaked me out! I told him I was having 2 more people come out to give me estimates but I couldn't sleep that nite worrying about money. I just lost my mom a month ago and I didn't need this! Orkin pest control came out this morning. The rep was very polite and told me he'd been doing this for 6yrs. (I asked him) He went under the house without me telling him anything Terminex had said to me. He told me we DONT have rats we have mice maybe one. He said he only saw a few droppings. He saw NO WATER, NO NESTS AND NO BABIES. He showed me THREE places where he thinks the mice are getting in.He covered those areas with rocks for the time being. He told me the underneath and my modular home in general was one of the cleanest he's seen.( it is one of the newer homes in the park). I have no food, water, or plants on the property except for a few plants on my porch. He quoted me a price under $300 to set 2 bait traps on either side of the house, several traps under the house that he will come bk in 5 days to check and he will cover the few areas where they are getting in. I than can get into a 11 mos contract for $60 a month where they will come out and check the traps bi monthly. They also offer a money back guarantee. They will come out in between if you see a mouse that has been caught on the traps. They also offer a 30 day program that you can do. DO NOT USE Terminex! Huge, rip off ! I can't say enough to convince anyone to never, ever call Terminix! I had field mice in my home and stupidly signed a contract for over $900 for them to get rid of the mice. They came out and put sticky traps all over and said they'd be back in a couple of days. I told them not to use sticky traps and they did anyway. Then after there was a mouse on the trap, I had to take the moving mouse out myself. Now I have another one and no one has ever come back to get the traps. Scheduled a one time treatment for 10am-12pm slot. 12:05 I haven't received a call so I reach out to the number on my email confirmation. I'm told they are reaching out to the driver but no response. I call again at 12:45 for another status and again no response from driver. I call again at 1:30 to cancel the service. The cancellation process is a nightmare. I'm told I can't simply get a refund but instead have to wait for the local branch to reach out several days from now to issue a refund for services not rendered. I ask for a direct number for them and told that they don't have one and that everything goes through the National number. Not only that but they don't give any sort of confirmation of the cancellation request. So now I am waiting for a company who doesn't keep communication to call me to communicate a refund is happening. What the actual hell is this scheme? read more

They were very professional and did a great job. They took care of my termites and made sure everything was as promised.

I was a loyal customer for over 10 years. I paid my bills on time because I had autopay. The technicians were great until I got Juan Saldana. He decided not to do his job the first time he went to my property but I was still charged. I let it slide. Then my tech Stacy got promoted. This is when the trouble started. I got Juan Saldana. His first visit to my property he texted that he did not perform the service. He did not tell management that he did not perform the service apparently. I was charged. Then this morning, before 8am, he called me (did not text) that he was on the way to my home. His cell phone said D VAZQUEZ not Juan Saldana and not Terminix. Very shady. My former tech Stacy's phone always had Stacy's name on it. Also Juan was rude to me and talked over me. Not professional. I called Mario the regional supervisor. He apologized and was professional. I would have been okay if it had stopped there. Unfortunately, Jiuan's direct supervisor called me and gaslit me, telling me it was my problem not his. Well it has always been his problem. Now it is Mario's problem because I have canceled my account, made a formal complaint with Terminix naming names, reported the false charge on my credit card to the fraud department at my bank, and canceled my account. If anyone ever asks me why I no longer use Terminix, I will repeat what is written here. read more

I like how their motto is "100% satisfaction money back guarantee", but after expressing my dissatisfaction with service to 2 call reps, and even local manager John, nobody was willing to credit us. Typically, Terminix would service our home monthly to keep spiders and insects down. After realizing they had only serviced our property one (1) time in 6 months, but still charged us $300+ during that time, I asked for a refund. None of their employees seemed to care about my concern, so I cancelled after 3 years of service, to which John could have cared less too. read more

We have been Terminex customers for over 20 years. They tented our house for termite fumigation nine years ago and we bought their Drywood Termite Treatment Plan annually. The annual cost increased from $400 the first year to $843 last year. Needed a real estate termite inspection and was told that the branch "serving" me did not do that type of inspection! So I went to another company which found extensive termite damage and recommended fumigation. I called today to schedule the service with Terminex. I was told someone could be out tomorrow. When the rep finally realized that I was an existing customer with a termite warranty suddenly there were no appointments available for the next 16 days. Appointments for new business, but none for existing customers. Cute. Supposedly the manager of the branch will call me within 48 hours. I'm not holding my breath. Truly a waste of money. read more

On October 19th, 2023 I signed the contract with Victor Maquez in Terminix to have Fumigation service with Tent Defend System, Contract #: 93704-101923232611-7583. He withdrawed my money $340 for deposit. The timeline of Fumigation was planned on November 24th - 27th. On November 22nd, 2023, Victor came to my house to go over the fumigation preparation check list and said everything was ready. In the afternoon that day one Terminix member called and let me know the plan for Fumigation will be from 2-5PM on November 24th. On November 24th one technician from SDG&E came to my house to shut off gas valve at 8:30AM. She told me the gas has been turned off and scheduled to turn on November 27th. I called Victor at 9AM and let him know the SDG&E already turned off the gas, everything was ready for fumigation and I will stay in the hotel during this time. I told him to let me know when the tent was taken down so I could leave the hotel and re-entered the home waiting for SDG&E to restore the gas. He said everything as planned. At 6PM on November 24th I checked cameras and hadn't seen any work of fumigation. I called Victor and his manager Christiaan Van Luit to ask them the reason. No one picked up the phone, then I left them the messages. At 10 AM on November 25th, I double checked and haven't seen any sign of service. I called Victor and Christiaan again. Christiaan picked up the phone and told me the service has been cancelled. I told him I haven't got any notice of cancellation by email or by phone, and on the phone conversation with Victor on November 24 morning, he didn't tell me any about the cancellation at all. I also asked Christiaan to have responsible for hotel expense due to cancellation without notice. He said they didn't plan to reimburse. I called local branch manager Dave regarding about the deposit and hotel reimburse. He said his company might return deposit, but not for hotel expense. I was still not receive any refund from Terminix. On March 9th, 2024, I sent email to terminixcares to ask them for deposit reimburse. But I didn't get any response from terminix.
