I can't even begin to say how upset I am. My technician was extremely unprofessional. They don't show up when they say they will and we see more bugs now than ever since the treatments. It's like an invasion. They have offered no solutions other than to worry about scheduling another treatment when I'm not even happy with the first ones. After filling out the review on the website I received 2 calls from my technician letting me know not to do that because it affects his pay that I should just let him know. He went on and on about it for like 10 min until he creeped me out and made me actually fear retaliation because this guy has been in my house now. I called and spoke with the 1-800 number and explained everything. They assured me it would be handled and that there would be no more contact with the technician. Well...I just received 3 calls today from him that I answered one of and hung up on. Then he actually has the audacity to text me. Do not go with these people. They are more interested in their profit and survey responses than they are with providing good service. read more

Terrible customer service. My contract expired , I notified I was no longer interested and they are still charging me, no answer no respond to my emails/ call or chat.. it is a SCAM!!! read more

The Washington DC - Maryland office is the worst. I paid $1900 for a closure of a hole where mice got in my house. It had a warranty provision. Shortly after the treatment I called back for another treatment-fix. Charles showed up and I pointed to where the noise came from on the second floor of the house. It was the same spot as the original repair. He said he could not get up on the ladder because his partner did not show up for work. Called again and made another appointment between 4- 6. Charles calls around 7 and says will be there around 7:30. I said don't bother because it will be dark. Made another appointment .Charles shows up but says "company policy" won't let him go up the ladder because the original site was within 3 feet of electric wire . He takes a picture and leaves. They won't honor the warranty and Charles is a worthless employee. read more

After cancelling 9 months ago, and fighting to get my money back, TECHS have been calling and showing up to service my home for the past 2 weeks! I started to let them do it just for the heck of it but I don't have any pest! And that would be wrong anyway. I called the main number today and they promised to take me out of their system! HEY TERMINIX, read the reviews, YOU HAVE SERIOUS MANAGERIAL ISSUES AT THIS LOCATION!!! read more

Called the 800 number on a Saturday and was told our inspection by Larry was scheduled for Monday between 10-12. Waited around until 12, but no one showed or called. Called the 800 number again and was told he would be right in touch. Waited another HOUR with no contact and called again. I was told he was on his way, but his iPad was broken and he didn't have our address. Begs the question, how can he be "on his way" if he doesn't know where we live?! Waited another 30 minutes and gave up. No one ever showed or even called related to our scheduled inspection. The 800 number seems to be in another country and gives you no option to call a more local branch. Terrible customer service! read more

Guy came moved stuff around and never sprayed anything! He only placed sticky traps for mouses? Why did we pay 150$ for someone to do something we could've done ourselves read more

I pray this review will help someone and save them thousands of dollars. I hired Terminix to do a bedbug treatment.... 3 treatments later and my home is still fully infested. I walked into the Largo,MD branch due to no one ever returning my phone calls and management was disgraceful. NEVER hire them. Their treatments do not work. read more

Terminix - Full blown live bug after 3 treatments - Pest Control Near Me - Largo, Maryland

TERRIBLE customer service. When you sign up for the quarterly service, they tell that, if you have any issues between the regular quarterly service dates, all you need to do is schedule an appointment at no extra cost. Well, this is NOT true. I had issues between my regular service dates, called to make the appointments, but the technician NEVER showed and never called me either. I was stood up 3 or 4 times. Completely disrespectful. read more

We were happy customers with Terminix for a few years. They would come every three months and we rarely saw any bugs/pests in between. The last year they have gone dramatically down hill. Techs wouldn't show when they were supposed to & then once the tech claimed he was at our house & sent us a bill. I was home all day and have security cameras, he was never here. I complained and it took me reaching out on Facebook to corporate before I got anywhere. I finally cancelled yesterday after yet again the tech didn't show or call me to let me know he wasn't coming. Definitely won't recommend them to anyone. read more

This company cannot claim to be a "pest control" company! With a termite protection policy in place since 1983, those critters continued to feast on the entire foundation of this home. With the foundation support failing, Terminex finally looked at the damage, acknowledged responsibility for failing to do inspections that would have prevented the extensive damage and then MORE THAN A YEAR later, began to plan repairs. The home was UNINHABITABLE for more than 4 months while the contractor delayed repairs. Now, more than 18 months later, Terminex has still not lived up to their stated obligations............. Choose your protection carefully!!! read more

I was very appreciative of the great service that Tijuan M. provided. He is thorough, patient, well trained and friendly. I highly recommend using him as your service agent. read more

Terminix does good pest control but it's got serious flaws in its billing & accounting office. I have been repeatedly billed for months that my technician does not come out to perform any service. When I called over and over again trying to solve the problem, I got no return phone calls and no resolution of the problem. Only after I cancelled the service--- and refused to pay for months that Terminix did not show up-- did customer service start calling me 5 times a day. Too bad--- I will not use them again. Nor would I recommend them. read more

Service could not have been faster. I called Terminix after being told by a competitor that it would take weeks to service my home. I am currently in the middle of a construction project when we found termites and did not want to delay the project. I spoke with a phone agent at Terminix around 5:30 Tuesday evening she called the manager of this branch and by 11:30 Wednesday morning there was an inspection and the treatment was completed that same day. I couldn't be happier with the response time. From the looks of things the service was completed thoroughly, I can't speak for the results yet, but I expect that they will be as good. My mom always swore by these folks and I guess she was right. read more

I called the 800 number for Terminix and schedule an appointment that I was happy to get for next day service. I was told someone would arrive between 1-3. I left work went home and no one showed. I called the 800 number and received a total run around and I was told someone would come tomorrow. There was no apology no consolation prize... Just a repeat over and over about someone coming tomorrow as if that change all the prior circumstance. It's okay that they couldn't come until 8/17 but they shouldn't have stated that at the time I called in. Why give appointments that you can't keep and when it's found that you can keep them don't just change the appointment someone should call an notify you. Send a text or anything. Dont waste peoples time. Maybe they do good work but I will never know because leaving work for hours early and paying for service is enough of a warning for me. I cant in good faith call them again. NOT a good start for what I thought was a good choice. read more

I was VERY disappointed with my experience with Terminix. I scheduled an initial service visit using Terminix's online form. I immediately received an email confirmation. The confirmation listed the date I chose (June 15, 2018) along with the time window of 10am-12pm. Unfortunately the date came, the time window came and went and NO ONE from Terminix showed up OR even called to say ANYTHING! It is now 6 days later, we have NEVER HEARD FROM TERMINIX, and will never request their services again! There ARE other pest control companies out there, and we will find and use them instead. read more

This company is not worth your time. We signed up a rental apartment with the premise that they call the tenant EACH month and confirm date and time. They say sure. I get a bill and I call the tenants. They indicate that they received no call or email to set up a visit. I call them and explain there must be a mistake and they said they set the time and came to my rental property for 28 minutes. I asked if no one was home how did you work for 28 minutes? He indicated around the outside. I said that does not sound right because this is a middle TH in the block of Ths and the back gate --- 8 feet tall is locked. So you are telling me you exterminated the 18' front of my home for 28 minutes? I called another company and they indicated that Terminix is known to sit in front of your home for a certain amount of time so they can report that they were there for 28 mins (or whatever amount of time they were there). You expect people to be honest but they are complete idiots. I definitely would not recommend them. It might seem like a good company at first but once you agree to a quarterly agreement, they have you and you can't do anything about it but post here. BEWARE! read more

I am a big fan. You get what you pay for! Excellent service, courteous professionals and expert pest controllers. No termites, mice or bugs in my house...happy to recommend read more

D. Minn was my service technician. Very professional, friendly and checked my property careful for pest invasion. Price was reasonable.

This terminix at Lottsfrd Rd is lousy, do not use it. I am a long term terminix customer. Since last Friday 8/18/17 I have been trying to schedule a termite inspection. To date I have scheduled a total of 5 appointments. Either they were no show or came after the scheduled time frame. Not one time do they have the courtesy to call me if they are late or not coming. When I called customer service, the reps were not able to contact the technician who was schdeuled to come. Yesterday 8/23/17 the scheduled time was from 1 pm to 3 pm, I waited until 4 pm and could wait no longer since I had a doctor's appointment. I called customer service, the rep was not able to contact the tech. At 4:15pm I received a text message saying the tech was coming but by that time I had already left. The tech did an OUTSIDE inspection only since I was not home to let him inside. I then scheduled an appointment for INSIDE inspection for today 8/24/17 3 pm to 5 pm and terminix confirmed the appointment via email. Again, no show and no phone call. ANYONE THINKING OF GETTING A TERMINIX CONTRACT, THINK AGAIN. ANY APPOINTMENT YOU MADE AND CONFIRMED MEANS NOTHING, AND THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL YOU WHEN THEY CHANGE YOUR SCHEDULED DATE, DO NOT SHOWUP, OR RUNNING LATE. read more

I would not wish Terminix on my worst enemy. The manager Forester and the tech Oshuell (sp?) are unprofessional, inept, and have the worst communication skills I've ever come across. They were not thorough in their quest to fix our problem and continuously failed at keeping track of the treatment our house was getting and when our appointments were scheduled. I literally had to chase and hunt these guys down just to get the routine, automatic 2-week follow-up service, which they failed to provide twice. Today, I was supposed to just get an inspection and the tech Oshuell (sp?) shows up at my door step and when I say, ok youre here to inspect the house. He tells me no, we're spraying the house today. I proceed to tell him, no his manager Forester told me my home was getting an inspection. The tech's response to me was, "So youre going to tell me how to do my job?". To make matters worse, trying to complain to Forester will literally get you nowhere because he doesn't see a problem with his branches poor service or the fact that they're literally throwing peoples money down the drain. I told him what his tech said he just replied, "oh he didnt use the right wording but theyre there to do an inspection?" -_- An inspection and an automatic treatment are two totally different things and require two totally different houes preps. When I questioned Forester about the intense amount of bad reviews the brach has circling the internet or the issues with my tech his response was, "we cant please everybody". And the list goes on and on... The tech falsified the document that lists what he inspected and treated my home for. When I questioned him on it, he told me they do this all the time and that he's a Christian and would never lie to me -____- The same tech left a box of flammable chemicals in my living room for me to find when I came home from work later that evening. He stops by around 11pm that night to pick it up. This last inspection he literally was obviously just pretending to inspect just because of another man, who was way more professional, was with him. I greatly appreciate the tech having an escort to my home because it's been so many issues, but this is going on two months of dealing with this trash service and I honestly advise anyone who is thinking about using them to save yourself a headache. After four unnecessary visits, I think our problem is under control, but honestly, who knows if we do end up with the same problem as before I will never waste $2k on Terminix again. read more
