One of my buddies recommended this place to me so I decided to check it out! This store is located underneath the Comcast Center and next to some other shops including Di Bruno's. I looked around their small display case as well as their grab-and-go bakery items. Their vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting and green sprinkles looked nice, so I decided to get it. My main concern with this place was the rude and unhelpful staff. When I came up, I was not greeted, all she did was check-me out. When I asked her if they had any drink options she just shouted at me "They are on the bored." At least she could say it politely. When leaving I was not told Thank You or even wished goodbye. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I still had an open mind when eating the cupcake. My friend was right in saying they were good. The frosting was exquisite and went perfectly with the nice airy cupcake. The middle was also filled with cream! The cupcake was very filling and I wasn't even able to finish it! While the cupcake was $2.50, I wouldn't call it overly expensive as it was very large and of good quality. Altogether, if this place could fix their brutal customer service they would be worthy of a five star review!

Amazing chocolate chip pound cake ($30) - December 2018

Great service and great pastries. With the new location with a much large display case (basement of Comcast Center), they seem to always have a variety of cakes available fresh on hand. That says, we were easily able to walk in and get their chocolate chip pound cake, a crowd favorite. The cake was the perfect amount of dense and moist and sweet. They brew La Colombe coffee, which goes along well with their offerings (and is slightly cheaper than the actual La Colombe place!) This is a staple in the area for office coffee and birthday cake !

We ordered a cake from Termini Bris Bakery last week for a baby shower. It was beautiful and delicious! Everyone commented on the taste of the frosting. They were able to custom make the wording on top.

Gorgeous vanilla chocolate chip pound cake with ganache filling and chocolate chip buttercream!

I bought a birthday cake here for my brother's birthday and it was fantastic! The cake was a vanilla chocolate chip pound cake with chocolate ganache filling and a chocolate chip buttercream frosting with cute little chocolate chips on top. The cake was deliciously moist and dense, and the ganache in the middle was fantastic! I'm not usually a fan of buttercream but there wasn't an overwhelming amount of it on the cake, so it complemented the cake perfectly without being too creamy! The lady at the counter was super helpful and wrote my brother's name on the cake in beautiful blue icing and provided us with candles as well! Highly recommend this place for a delicious and not overly pricy cake for a special occasion :)

Tiramisu pastry - the best you'll ever get!

This terminis was a bit tough to find at first. You have to walk in the comcast center and go down a flight of stairs where they have the market and shops. Nevertheless, I found it after a few minutes and got there to find there was no line (a rarity for terminis). Picked up a few cannolis, tiramisu cakes and almond horns. If you've never had the tiramisu before you must try it! Plus when you order a cannoli they put the cream in the shell right on the spot which is cool to watch. The people there were very friendly too! Terminis is a Philadelphia bakery experience that you won't get anywhere else! Give it a try whenever you're in the city and you'll realize why people move to philly for the food.

I thought I'd written a review about this place before but to my shock I had not…read more I have been coming here since the day they opened, infrequently beacuse I am diabetic but when I want to spoil my body with delicious sugar, honey, this is *IT*. Now I could tell you all about how perfectly tasty everything is. From the classic banana puddings (I prefer the caramel version myself,) to the cookies, to the pineapple upside-down mini cakes. Yes, I could tell you that. But I want to speak to something deeper. I want to speak to belonging and community; and to fairness. As a biracial person with a brown sister, I feel the pull to support black and brown businesses. It's not a secret. And sometimes you do it, and sometimes you privately think "Damn. I wanna be supportive but this place is a mess." Then there's Sweet Life. NOT that. FILLED with good product at a great price, delivered by owners and staff who actually give a damn about being loving and supportive to all different types of people. And did I mention the sweets are POPPIN'? And to that statement of fairness. Today I came in to place an order, and when the price came up, for a moment I thought "Damn. That is a lot higher than I remembered, but I am not about to question them. They set the price and that price is what they deserve." So I paid. But then I noticed there was more in my bag that I'd asked for, and that there had been a miscommunication. When I tell you that this miscommunication was corrected with swiftness *AND* a smile. No shade. No drama. Just an "Ooops, oh well, here's your refund on the balance." I know this seems very basic but we all know it isn't. We have all been in that awkward situation where as a customer we have to point out an error, and the vendor turns it into a Shakespearan tragedy. Not Sweet Life. "Oops. Sorry! Fixed. Love you." So, to recap: Stunningly delicious sweets. Prices fair as hell. Communicative, inclusive staff doing the right thing. You need to take those money dollers and haul your ass over here TODAY. Now...where did I put my insulin pen?

The line was pretty long since we came on a Saturday morning, but it moved surprisingly fast. They had a huge selection of donuts, along with other baked goods and cakes. It was hard to choose because everything looked so good, but we ended up getting the apple fritter, maple bacon, and Biscoff donut. The maple bacon was definitely our favorite. The donut itself had this amazing sweet maple smell, almost like straight maple syrup. The bacon on top was a nice touch, and the whipped maple creme filling was delicious. It was definitely a sweet donut, but it hit the spot. The Biscoff donut came in a close second. It had the perfect filling-to-bread ratio, and as someone who loves anything Biscoff, this was super satisfying. Both of these donuts were incredibly soft and had the perfect texture. The apple fritter ranked third for us, but it was still really good. It wasn't as sweet as the other two, which was actually nice and helped balance everything out. I do wish it had been a little crispier and had more pieces of apple throughout, but I still enjoyed it. I'd absolutely come back to try more of their donuts, and I definitely want to check out some of their other bakery items too!

I have no idea what all I ordered, but I got 3 classic ones that you can get mostly anywhere, and then I got 3 wild ones at the choice of the worker there helping me out. I have to say, I really just prefer classic chocolate icing, or caramel icing regular donuts. The crazy ones with all the toppings and fillings are just weird to me. Krispy Kreme remains as always the GOAT of all donut shops, but I do like trying new spots. Certainly worth stopping by if you're craving a donut.

They definitely seem consistent, which I really appreciate. I came with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, and wow... this place was packed. Even with the crowd, the staff stayed friendly and worked quickly, so we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. One thing I still love is the seating. They have giant plushies sitting in the booths, so if you're by yourself, you're not just awkwardly staring at an empty seat across from you. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that, but I think it's a cute touch. The matcha here is the real deal. It's bright green, fragrant, and has that rich, earthy flavor with just enough natural bitterness that you know they're using quality matcha. A lot of places advertise matcha, but this one actually delivers. I ordered one of their matcha desserts with ice cream, and it was creamy, refreshing, and let the matcha flavor shine instead of burying it under sugar. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm inside. It was a hot summer day, and I honestly couldn't tell if the air conditioning was running or if it was just fans. Either way, it wasn't very cool inside. Thankfully I had ice cream, so it didn't bother me too much, but it's something to keep in mind if you're stopping by on a really hot day. Overall, another great visit. Friendly staff, consistently high-quality matcha, and a fun atmosphere. If you're a matcha lover, this is still one of my favorite spots in Chinatown.
