They set up a one-way door, so the squirrel(s) can leave, but cannot return. :) Rescue 1 is scheduled to come back in one month to remove the "door" and seal the opening in the vent. Although the job isn't finished quite yet, I've had a great experience with Rescue 1 so far. This is textbook bait-and-switch. The owner had zero intention of completing the job and used vague "safety concerns" as a shield to pocket the inspection fee while doing as little as possible. Completely shameless. The technician himself was fine -- this is entirely on the owner, who was condescending, dismissive, and utterly unbothered by ripping off a customer in broad daylight. I would not trust this company with a single dollar. Their pricing is a scam, their ethics are nonexistent, and their owner clearly views customers as targets rather than people to serve. When Mike arrived he was right to work trying to determine the source of our mouse problem. His inspection was thorough and found a lot of areas to set traps, and he set a number of baits and bait stations. Mike also found the likely intrusion points and gor the plugged.
