Our house was built in the early 20th century, to say that it's drafty is an understatement. With…read morethe old school framing we also get queen bees wandering into our house after hibernating over the winter when it gets warm out. With the crazy warm weather we've been having they decided to come early this year. We had been using an independent guy for the past year and, after learning how dangerous unregulated pesticides can be, decided to go green. I submitted a request online and was called within hours. Think Green had Ray come out the next day to explain why we were experiencing the problem and how to fix it. He was friendly and patient with all of my questions and even led me to his car to look at the labels on all of their equipment. He explained state regulations and made it apparent how little the guy we were using before was following standard procedure. He made me confident that we had made the right choice. After the treatment, we had the house and our barn sprayed, the house smelled a little like a cross between a peppermint stick and cloves - a bit strong but MASSIVELY better than the stuff we'd used before. After treatment we received a welcome packet with a disc that contained all of their chemical labels. A week later we adopted a dog who came with a host of little friends - fleas! We'd already vacuumed, cleaned all of our linens and sprayed for fleas with something from the vet but I gave Think Green a call just to be sure. I think I spoke to Lance, who explained that we were doing all the right things and that it might be a waste of money to treat now when we may have eliminated the problem ourselves. Talk about honesty! Any other place would have taken advantage of the opportunity to charge more but they didn't - that was really impressive to me. All around very happy with our switch to this company so far. Thanks Ray and Lance!

Meh, I've experienced better is right. First service was okay, but then on follow up, i have…read moreconflicting stories between all of my tenants and Think Green. They told me they would spray on their follow up service. Keep this in mind. My tenants told me that on the day our follow up service was scheduled, no one ever came. Britney at Think green told me that they were out there (Lance?) and that all the other apartments had no activity so they didn't need to be sprayed. Upon speaking with my tenants again, they insisted no one ever came. I call think green back and now they said that they came and sprayed one of the apartments but didn't spray the others because there was no activity. HOW DID YOU KNOW THERE IS NO ACTIVITY if YOU DID NOT GO INTO THE APARTMENTS TO CHECK!!!!? A classic game of he said/ she said. I gave them 2 stars because of the possibility i'm being lied to by my tenants, and the fact that i was told i would get a spray for all 6 units, as opposed to "there was no activity so we didn't have to do anything, you're an idiot for paying already". (they didn't say the last part, but that's how i felt, like an idiot for having already paid). I called them back, and was told that "i didn't know was i was talking about" and that i'm "clearly trying to scam them". I was told i would get a call back from (lance?) the manager but never did. Bottom line is my tenants still have roaches (2 month) later and they have my money, and i can't even get a call back. PLEase be aware!

We own an old home with a stone foundation, a dirt floor cellar and a shallow, dirt crawl space…read more We have lived here for 32+ years and in that time, I have probably been in the cellar 20 times. This winter, with all the snow, we found some footprints, and a few small holes near the foundation ... which led to exploring the cellar. We discovered our cellar had become home to some critters. We tried to remove them and were not successful. I Googled "pest services" and found Ellington Family Pest. I immediately called and spoke with the owner, Jason. He was very professional and reassuring that Ellington Family Pest would be able to take care of the problem. He gave me his cell phone number and responded to my MANY phone calls and texts. He and a staff member came to our house and took care of the issue, and we have been clear ever since. I can't say enough positive things about Jason and Ellington Family Pest. I would 100% recommend this company for your home pest control needs. He will get it done. Thank you for everything, Jason - Christine

And upon moving I realized my 1912 farmhouse was already full of... country mice. Having discovered a bizarre stash of sesame seeds in my laundry (that wasn't mine) and hearing tiny things go bump (scritch scritch) in the night, I called Marvel Pest Service. Pulling up in a superhero-emblazoned Subaru and efficiently scoping out the rodent situation in the house, Fred reassured me that he had the situation under control. After the initial treatment (snap traps and bait traps) there's been a significant drop in tiny roommate activity and I'm committing to monthly visits to ensure it stays that way. Also super appreciate Fred being properly masked his whole visit, COVID is one bug Marvel isn't gonna catch!

When the technician came out, he told me there was absolutely no way the smell was urine and he saw no signs of mice. I called another company who immediately found an area of dried mouse urine and feces and rectified the issue. When I explained this to enviro care, and that I was deeply unhappy with services rendered and would not be paying for the tech coming out and placing a few mouse traps and giving false information without investigating further, a woman named Amanda told me I had to go to court to dispute this. I asked Amanda if there was someone higher up in the company who could help me and she informed me that she was one of the owners of the company. I asked if I could speak to a different owner and she very aggressively told me no, I have to go to court, and hung up on me while I was talking. When I called back, I was told Amanda is nothing more than a customer service representative. I had booked Guardian Pest Control several weeks before my wedding to spray for mosquitoes…read more Unfortunately it rained this week. Knowing it was going to rain, I called on Monday to ask them to come earlier in the week to make sure the grounds were sprayed. They told me "not to worry about it" and that they would "take care of it." This was untrue. Now the day before my wedding, it is raining. They refuse to spray. That's not even the worst part. I spoke with Abbey, a manager in the store. She was dismissive, rude, and defensive about her poor customer service and her company's failure to live up to its responsibility. In fact, she refused to take any responsibility, blaming the weather and saying there was "nothing they could do." I did point out they could have come earlier in the week, they could have communicated with us better that they wouldn't be able to spray with the rain, and that we might have issues. But we were left in the dark until the day before the event that there would be no spraying. This was upsetting, and then on top of that to have Abbey be condescending on the phone with people who do not know pest control or what it entails was the worst customer service experience of my life. I will be reporting to the better business bureau, and I would never recommend this company for any special event. I was able to contact Orkin who took care of my pest needs and were pleasant and appreciative of the fact this was my wedding and a very important occasion.
