Our house was built in the early 20th century, to say that it's drafty is an understatement. With the old school framing we also get queen bees wandering into our house after hibernating over the winter when it gets warm out. With the crazy warm weather we've been having they decided to come early this year. We had been using an independent guy for the past year and, after learning how dangerous unregulated pesticides can be, decided to go green. I submitted a request online and was called within hours. Think Green had Ray come out the next day to explain why we were experiencing the problem and how to fix it. He was friendly and patient with all of my questions and even led me to his car to look at the labels on all of their equipment. He explained state regulations and made it apparent how little the guy we were using before was following standard procedure. He made me confident that we had made the right choice. After the treatment, we had the house and our barn sprayed, the house smelled a little like a cross between a peppermint stick and cloves - a bit strong but MASSIVELY better than the stuff we'd used before. After treatment we received a welcome packet with a disc that contained all of their chemical labels. A week later we adopted a dog who came with a host of little friends - fleas! We'd already vacuumed, cleaned all of our linens and sprayed for fleas with something from the vet but I gave Think Green a call just to be sure. I think I spoke to Lance, who explained that we were doing all the right things and that it might be a waste of money to treat now when we may have eliminated the problem ourselves. Talk about honesty! Any other place would have taken advantage of the opportunity to charge more but they didn't - that was really impressive to me. Meh, I've experienced better is right. First service was okay, but then on follow up, i have conflicting stories between all of my tenants and Think Green. They told me they would spray on their follow up service. Keep this in mind. My tenants told me that on the day our follow up service was scheduled, no one ever came. Britney at Think green told me that they were out there (Lance?) and that all the other apartments had no activity so they didn't need to be sprayed. Upon speaking with my tenants again, they insisted no one ever came. I call think green back and now they said that they came and sprayed one of the apartments but didn't spray the others because there was no activity. HOW DID YOU KNOW THERE IS NO ACTIVITY if YOU DID NOT GO INTO THE APARTMENTS TO CHECK!!!!? A classic game of he said/ she said. I gave them 2 stars because of the possibility i'm being lied to by my tenants, and the fact that i was told i would get a spray for all 6 units, as opposed to "there was no activity so we didn't have to do anything, you're an idiot for paying already". (they didn't say the last part, but that's how i felt, like an idiot for having already paid). I called them back, and was told that "i didn't know was i was talking about" and that i'm "clearly trying to scam them". I was told i would get a call back from (lance?) the manager but never did. Bottom line is my tenants still have roaches (2 month) later and they have my money, and i can't even get a call back. PLEase be aware! read more

These guys were great! They responded promptly to my request for a quote after we found some mice my cat had killed, and scheduled a convenient actual time that the technician would come out. Ray was awesome. He did a thorough review of the home and determined that we did not have an active mouse population, and that we could have a treatment completed, but that it would make sense to monitor things and see if there are any more before committing to one. This company does not even deserve A star. They DO NOT return phone calls what so ever or show up to the house as scheduled. Paid almost $400 to get absolutely no results! They sprayed for ants outside twice & I am still having issues. The only time you will get prompt service from them is the first time you've signed up with their service & have paid them, but after that, good luck trying to get anybody back to your house. Signed up with the quarterly plan that I paid almost $400 which covers rodents & bees etc...that includes emergency service calls. Had an appointment for 6:30, the technician called literally one minute before to notify me that she was not coming. Had bee problems, which I ended taking care of myself, because they still not yet have returned my emergency call & it's been four days! Save your money, time, & frustration...I do not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Bought a house in Tolland that was unoccupied for months. Katie was AMAZING. Arrived on time, did a thorough job, was extremely professional and helped us understand how to best maintain our yard to maximize a pest free environment. We started our quarterly treatment two weeks ago and so far so good. Dogs have been tick free and so have we! Even with all the rain we've been having, mosquitos are barely there too. And so happy Think Green has natural options that are safe for my two dogs too. Can't wait to have Katie come out again - will definitely be requesting her for my next appointment! read more

Very responsive and helpful. Submitted an initial request on the company's website for rodent control and was contacted within a couple hours. Appointment scheduling easy, willing to travel, thorough, answered all my questions. Worked with me to accomodate the most effective options in a condo with a dog. The best part was the rodents were gone on the followup appointment! Used the voucher with no issue whatsoever. Will definitely be calling for a followup in the future! read more
