We arrived just as the restaurant was opening and were surprised to see how busy it already was at 7:00 a.m.! The café had a charming, distinctly French atmosphere, reminiscent of cafés we've visited in France, right down to hearing patrons chatting in French. It certainly added to the ambiance! Since we arrived early, we were seated immediately at a cute window table, perfect for watching the city come to life. Over the next few days, we walked past several times and noticed people lining up for tables, so we were especially glad we had beaten the crowds. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waiter was attentive and efficient, bringing water promptly, taking our order quickly, and delivering our food in what felt like no time at all. We ordered lattes, French toast, and a Croque Madame. The French toast came topped with fresh blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and banana slices. While it was a satisfying breakfast, the dish itself was fairly ordinary. I would have preferred brioche-style French toast for a richer texture, and the maple syrup was already poured over the top. Having it served on the side would have been a nice touch, allowing guests to control the amount. I also wasn't entirely sure the syrup was pure maple syrup. The Croque Madame was enjoyable as well, though neither dish was particularly memorable. Overall, Café Bonjour is a great spot for its convenient location, charming French café atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service. While the food was good enough for breakfast, it wasn't necessarily the highlight of our visit. I would come back again to try their pastries, or crêpes. I'd recommend arriving early to avoid the lines and enjoy a relaxed start to your day exploring Boston!

Sultan: The lamb was stewed for a long time until incredibly tender and melted in your mouth, with absolutely no gamey taste. Although it's called "sweet lamb", it didn't have a strong sweetness; instead, it had a typical mild, complex flavor of onions, cumin, coriander seeds, and other spices. The Yellow Rice was likely seasoned with turmeric and saffron, making it very flavorful. The basmati rice grains were distinct but not too dry, perfect for mixing with the sauce. The White Garlic Sauce wasn't overpowering; it mainly added a touch of acidity, which, along with the cool, sweet corn, helped to cut through the greasiness. Actually, it was completely different from any other Moroccan lamb stew I've had. It was more like Yemeni Mandi, but with more layers of flavor and a more universally appealing taste. As a fusion dish, how can it not be considered a success? This restaurant offered self-build options, but I was rushing to the World Cup Fan Festival and didn't even have time to look at the menu carefully. The staff quickly recommended dishes and adjusted the ingredients based on my preferences. Excellent service.

I decided the this spot since it was indoors mostly and it had rained all day. There were several people helping working the hostess stand. There were several folks walking around gathering info. i.e. Table 15 was paying etc. The noise is busy and charming. There are several TVs streaming sorts. Go sports! You can stand at the end of the bar and order drinks if you like while you wait. After I was seated, I was promptly brought water and had my order taken. I got a cup of chowder and the lobster roll (hot with butter). I got both my chowder and lobster roll in under 10 mins of ordering. Well oiled machine. The chowder was hot and salty and creamy. The perfect combo with the rainy weather. The lobster roll was good but I wish it would have been hot. It was closer to room temp than hot. The lobster roll was marked market price and was 40$. The cup of chowder was 10$. Overall good spot when you have the time to wait but not worth the 40$ price for the lobster roll.

Yummyyyyyy! As I sit here eating leftovers from our dinner order the other night!!…read more We ordered delivery - big plate chicken- tender chicken very flavorful with potatoes and veggies and pasta. The stir fry dry chicken was really good too even though it was oily but so tasty! The laghman was enjoyed by the hubs. And I really enjoyed the fish dish - also very oily and could use less oil definitely. But tasty. Food came within a reasonable time. Overall quite satisfied with the food! Plenty of leftovers. We got the samosa, bean jelly, Laghman, chicken fried noodles, and chicken with red peppers. The best I think was the samosa (looks kind of like a bun). It had a flakey crust and interior with spiced beef. Probably my favorite! The bean jelly was ok. The jelly rectangles were a little firmer than I expected and bit spicy but not bad. The laghman noodles were a little overcooked. The restaurant staff were nice to accommodate us and make the Laghman substituted with chicken instead of the usual beef (for our friend with dietary restrictions). The chicken I think was unseasoned because of this because it normally isn't in the laghman. (I wonder if their original beef default would've been better) The spicy fried chicken bits in red peppers was pretty good (you can adjust the spice level).
