I am SOOOO done with this place! Yesterday (8/3/26), my wife and I stopped in for dinner. The place was not busy. We order, and shortly afterward the waitress comes back and tells me that they don't have he Chile Verde available because it "went bad." That should have our one and only clue to get the hell out, but instead I order just simple chicken enchilada. Boy was that a mistake. I don't know what the hell was in those enchiladas, but I spent the entire day today at home because I had the shits ALL F-ING DAY! I will never eat in this cesspool of a restaurant again! read more

Stopped in for a mid-week lunch & would not return. The food was awful. The cheese on the quesadilla wasn't even melted through. The ground beef had a gross taste & aftertaste. The house margarita was watered down. The ambience was decent. When I asked the waitress for a soda refill it was clear that was a bother even though there were maybe 4 tables total occupied. My server Dominic went above and beyond, Luis the manager checked in on me multiple times as well. The drinks were refreshing and their made in house salsas were the perfect pairing with my fajitas. I've come here a few times really only for the fact that they have an awesome, dog-friendly patio. Now, under new ownership, I am absolutely thrilled that they have good food! Luis, who was a great waiter, informed me that they had invested in a better patio covering, and my dog and I (with the patio heater) were more than comfortable. The two items I got off the happy hour menu (I think happy hour is 2-5 pm?) were the chicken chimichanga sliders and the quesabirra. Both were tasty, good portions, and well worth the price (I got both to do a taste test and for leftovers ... my life has been changed with an air fryer, lol!). If the owner reads this, first of all, great job! Secondly, if you invested in a good TV and sound system, the patio would be perfect for Duck and Beaver football games, Seahawk games, etc. Just sayin' :-) read more

1 star. The service was terrible. Our server was rude, rolled her eyes at me multiple times, and acted irritated whenever I spoke to her. She also got my 4-year-old daughter's order wrong after I clearly requested chicken in her enchiladas. The Bloody Mary was so bad it wasn't even consumable. Between the poor attitude, incorrect order, and disappointing drinks, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I won't be returning. If I could do no stars I would. Showed up for lunch yesterday! I'm Latino and have been raised eating authentic Mexican cuisine. This place is it. I had the Sopes (asada) and they were phenomenal. Tequila Factory Review... Tonight's experience at Tequila Factory can best be described as "fine dining for people who enjoy abandonment." We sat down excited for a margarita and Mexican food. Thirty-one minutes later, our drink finally arrived -- presumably handcrafted one molecule at a time. Food showed up around the 50-minute mark, which gave us enough time to reflect on our life decisions. Our waiter operated more like a rare wildlife sighting. Every 20 minutes he would briefly appear, vanish again, then return smelling like he had just suddenly fallen directly into a fresh vat of cologne at Walmart No chips refills (despite saying 3 times he would return with more chips). Overall rating: 2 out of 5 margaritas. One star for eventually bringing food. One star for the waiter's commitment to fragrance application. Would not recommend unless you have nowhere to be for the next week or two. . read more

This is a fun place with very well prepared Mexican food. In my opinion, most garden variety Mexican restaurants are indistinguishable and mediocre. What makes this place standout is the freshness and attention to detail augmented by a relaxed and friendly staff. We had the chicken in well balanced mole poblano served with the usual refried beans and rice. The mole was great but we were also surprised by rice. It was lightly seasoned with a floral combination of spicy, fluffy and not sticky. I can't remember ever eating the rice on a Mexican platter and we finished this. Their salsa is clearly freshly made and well balanced: spicy without overkill. The premium margaritas were made with Patron anejo and had a flashing light ice cube. Silly, I know, but fit our mood after a day of babysitting grandkids! The wait staff was working their butts off since they were short staffed....apologetic but never flustered and with a good sense of humor. We went to this place when it was previously Casa Colima. The food and service was always great! We decided to go in and see if they were under new owners and sure enough they were. The food was absolutely disgusting. My husband and I spilt the nachos with ground beef and I'm not even sure what it actually was. Neither of us ate much of it. I woke up in the middle of the night with an awful stomach which led into the following day. My daughter ordered the birria tacos and they were dripping in grease. She took two bites and that was it. I felt the menu and food at Casa Colima was average at best and had not dined there in over a year so was eager to try a "new" Mexican restaurant. We went for Happy Hour. The Tequila Factory menu is different; they really should post it legibly on their website - not just difficult to read photos of their menu and pictures of the dishes. I ordered chimichanga sliders with birria. It was quite tasty, something I would order again. My companion had it with chicken, which was very bland. Service was friendly and attentive​, and the drinks were honest. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the vehicle noise invading the patio. The only small tables were positioned near the front, and it was difficult to hold a conversation. Most of the diners were couples - they need more smaller tables near the back, away from the noise of Pacific Highway. All in all, despite the highway noise, I would return and either dine inside or take up a larger table. read more

What I received was a somewhat crisped tortilla with chicken strips inside of the shell. I loved all of the lettuce and tomatoes on top. The chicken strips were winco brand quality - I've purchased these types when I didn't have the budget for high quality chicken strips at times. So surprised to have chicken nuggets in my taco, and it made me laugh - we had a great time talking about how it was better suited for a kids taco meal - maybe put it on the kids menu?!
