Ribs, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and the fried okra is to die for

This place hit so well with barbecue, as a person being from the real South of Mississippi you know of course I know taste of barbecue, this makes my fourth time visiting this place. It's a good place to go to. If you have an off day it's a great place to take family friends when they're visiting I mean, they have so many sides that you can enjoy From the service is great. They always walking around making sure you're taking care of from anything you need. They have a bar inside nice bar with all different types of beverages and talking about the meat because it is great it's not that spicy lol what people think barbecue should be but it's not like that and it's really good the brisket from the ribs to the hot links, etc. And the ambience of the place is very very welcoming, especially for families and kids, just a great place to go and have friends or family or just yourself

Came in about an hour after opening on a Sunday and had speedy service!! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from and lots of tasty meat and side options. The greens and beans had meat but the cold sides, deserts and a lot of the hot sides were vegetarian friendly. The BBQ sauces were delicious and the bbq was cooked well. Did not disappoint and we're glad we finally made it in!

In Texas, barbecue is a staple restaurant. They're everywhere. In fact, where I live there are five BBQ restaurants within a one mile radius of each other. So, what makes a BBQ restaurant stand out when so many are around - the quality of their smoked meats. Ten50 BBQ is one of the stand outs. You walk up (you're still outside) and decide what meats you want. You can get one slice of meat, or order it by the half or whole pound. And their brisket is delicious. My daughter gets the torpedoes - that's a jalapeño with chicken and cheese stuffed int with bacon wrapped around each one. She loves them. Once you select your meat, you then go inside and get your sides. Don't pass up their rolls...they are mouth watering good! And all their side are really good. You know how some BBQ places only specialize in one area. Either they're meats are good but their sides are lack luster - or reverse. Not Ten50. Everything is good! And you have to appreciate any restaurant who places a truck in the middle of the restaurant. Yes, I said a truck, but there's something kind of fun about seeing it in the middle of the restaurant. The whole atmosphere at Ten50 is enjoyable - the food - the restaurant decor - and the people who work there.

Delicious joint - Honestly Guy Fieri would totally come here or Phil Rosenthal! Friendly staff, big portions and so much flavor! They've got another location off of Lovers Lane. Very spacious inside and a great outdoor seating area! Can't wait to go back!!

Whenever I visit Texas, I make it a point to indulge in tacos (they have the best ones, even better than California! ) and BBQ. Texas undoubtedly excels in smoked meats. During my recent trip, I visited Ten50 BBQ in Richardson, TX. I arrived just as lunchtime began, so it wasn't crowded initially, but it soon became bustling. Entering the restaurant, you walk through the smokehouse. Here, the butcher asks for your order, weighs everything, and places it on a tray. You then proceed inside to choose your sides and pay. The customer service throughout was excellent - friendly, helpful, and they offered great suggestions. I enjoy a variety of proteins, so I chose a slice of brisket, a rib, half a jalapeño sausage, and one of their jalapeño poppers, along with a side of beans. I started with the rib, which was as delicious as it looked - tender, moist, and smoky, with a fantastic rub. The brisket was next and it was perfectly smoked with that classic Texas texture. Although I didn't get enough to savor the bark, the rub's flavor was delightful. The jalapeño popper was outstanding, cooked to perfection with soft and fully cooked bacon. The sausage was equally impressive. However, the beans were the highlight! Their flavor was intensely good, though I didn't have the chance to ask what was in them. The dining room staff was also very helpful. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the restrooms were clean. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal and experiencing it yourself!

I was looking for a place that was relatively close to my hotel. I found this gem; showed up and walked away impressed and full! Although, I heard there were better places for BBQ. You know you're at a real Texas BBQ when you see meat menu and you pay by the pound. It makes it authentic when you get a tray with butcher paper as the plate. I couldn't resist and was committed! I got one rib, half chicken, sausage, brisket, and baked beans. To me, the star was the brisket. I preferred the point instead of the flat. It was hands down the reason why I eat Texas BBQ. It passed the "pull test" with ease. You should be able to gently pull on your slice and it should separate easily. It was tender, rich in beefy flavor, and displayed the perfect smoke rings. The flavor in my mouth served up the perfect amount of fat, meat, bark, and spices. It was like synchronized swimming in my mouth. Perfect! The pulled pork was solid, juicy with a nice bark, and the sausage had a nice snap and spices. The chicken was a bit dry and tough. I was a bit disappointed but the skin was the best part of the chicken. I did order baked beans and I'm not used to that type of spice, smoke, and texture in my baked beans. It was definitely complicated flavors. I'm from New England originally. Not a fan of texas baked beans, yet. Service was quick, and the place had a laid-back, no-frills BBQ vibe. Would I come back for another round? Absolutely, did the next day! This time I passed on the chicken and replaced it with ribs. Definitely give this place a try! The line was busy the second day, but the first night was easy peasy! The chicken was what lowered the score for me, but overall solid place!

Enjoyed the bbq beef brisket here with some sides of mac n cheese and fried okra. Service here is super friendly and accommodating. We asked if we could bring outside cake to celebrate a bday and they had no issues and even let us borrow a lighter for the candles - so glad they weren't asking us to pay cutting fees etc like other places have started doing. They don't take reservations but it was super easy to find a spot for group of 10 on Monday evening for our work dinner. I wish there was an easier way to check out all 10 team members instead swiping each time. Overall, we enjoyed the bbq and would def come back while in the area. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors!

I've always had a great experience here, but this one kind of missed the mark. The service is consistently great and the people are friendly. This time the food fell short. It could be just the time of day that I went (early evening), but the brisket was dry and the pork ribs were just chewy and leathery. It just wasn't enjoyable at all. Potato salad was a great as well as the Keylime pie. Spicy pickles are always a winner. The place still has a pretty good vibe and I enjoy going there, but I might try different options going forward.

I've come here for years and this is a very good BBQ location in the city. When you enter you can pick your choice of meat and the cut that you want. I typically go for brisket, but this day I was having beef ribs. The food is cooked very good, soft and juicy as well. You can also let them know how you want it cooked. Service here is mostly on your own, there are not traditional waiters, you get your own drink from the fountains which is convenient. The employees are generally nice and I have never had an issue. The ambiance is based around a log cabin with an antique car in the middle of the floor on display. Definitely manly vibes, it's a decent place and there is plenty of space for the family and for kids. There is also an outdoor section along the side of the building that you can go to and eat. Ten50 is a very good place, check it out if you are in Richardson

This is a typical bbq. Rails to get to the meat server, which chops it up for you and then you go get sides. Food wise it's good and prices are pretty comparable to other big names. Tried the ribs and macaroni and cheese. Both are good. Having come twice, it have some good options.

Brisket, cheddar jalapeño brisket popper, ribs, beans, vinegar slaw (yum!), yeast roll.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.
