Ten 3 is one of those unique restaurants where the only way to access the place is via a 15 minute tram ride. The pictueresque views on the tram are amazing. You need to factor in the Tram cost ($35/person, as Sept 2026) and the expense for dinner. We were celebrating our anniversary, so coughed up the cost as a special occasion. We were provided one of the best corner tables with window views on all sides, so that was a bonus. The staff also signed a card for us which was at our table upon arrival. These were very nice personalized touches. Considering the entree costs, I would have thought they would provide a bread basket, but they don't. We ordered the Artisan Breads, which is a lot of bread for two people. For appetizer, I also got the Miso Glazed Eggplant. It was absolutely delicious. I paired the appetizer with the Butter Lettuce for my meal. The waitress said it was a good portion size for a meal. I've never seen a smaller $19 salad with 4 leaves of lettuce in my life. My husband orders the fish special, which he absolutely loved. Go to Ten 3 for the stellar views, but be prepared for an expensive evening between the tram ride and the cost of the food.

One-of-a-kind restaurant, accessible by the Sandia tram on top of Sandia peak. Good food, we did the ride & dine menu which has different options than the main menu. I think if we returned we would do tram tickets separately and order off the normal menu since it has more options. Service was very responsive and friendly. What you really come here for though is the experience and the views. From the peak you can see all of Albuquerque. From behind the restaurant you can see ski slopes and can even see Santa Fe in the far distance. An essential stop if you're visiting New Mexico.

We made a reservation here but ended up sitting on the casual side, which doesn't need a reservation, to be closer to the windows. A table with a view is not guaranteed with the fine dining reservation. Matter fact, a reservation isn't needed to dine on the fine dining side although it may state that it does online. You can walk right in and say you'd like to be seated in fine dining and they will make it happen. It sure happened. It's first come first serve on both sides regardless of what's posted. It's a restaurant after all, as they said, so money has to be made. Nonetheless, the experience itself was completely worth it. The tram ride up was not as scary as it may seem. It's about a 15 minute ride up. The main goal today was to enjoy the view and to go to dinner. If you ride the tram up without dinner, you can simply explore the area until your next ride down. As far as dinner goes, the meal was delicious. Our waiter was kind and patient with explaining a few things to us. The food didn't take long at all. We had a glass of a wine, the sandia caesar salad, and the seared sirloin. The sirloin came with some type of mash and veggies. It all paired well together. We ate, we laughed, we enjoyed the view. Don't bother making a reservation and risk losing money for booking. Go up, enjoy the view, enjoy a good meal.

I purchased the Ride & Dine package to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday which is a dinner at Ten 3 and the ride on the Tram. This is only available Mondays and Thursdays. It's an easy way to book both by only making a reservation through the restaurant so it is nice for convenience however for the price point I was not impressed with the Ride & Dine limited prix fixe menu and would advise not to do this, instead book separately and order exactly what you want from their menu, there are much better entrees, appetizers, and desserts than what's on the prix fixe menu. Give yourself 1 hour for the tram ride. Brilliant views throughout, and nice service.

Tonight we took the tram to the top of Sandia Peak. It was sunlight going up and dark going down. I had a very tasty double smash burger with hickory smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions. It came with a heaping order is sweet potato French fries and lettuce, tomato, and red onion slice on the side to add. My friend has a piece of salmon with a tasty BBQ glaze. It was over a bed of mixed veggies and rice. I just had ice tea. We both enjoyed our dinner, coming back down the tram in pitch dark with the twinkling city light below. It was a fun adventure.

The side salad was pretty good!

Myself, Mom and my partner were in town for Mother's Day and thought a trip up the mountain would be nice. We rode the tram up with plans to eat at the restaurant. The wait was about 30 minutes so we grabbed some drinks from the bar and took in the sun outside. It's a spectacular view from the top. It's been so long since I came up here and don't even remember if there was a restaurant before. It was the 60th anniversary of the tram so the entire restaurant was set up for casual dining. Once seated, we were bummed we didn't get a window. BUT, there was a table by the window available. I was told it was for somebody before us. Huh? Where are they? I hate to be that person, but I don't think that was the case. I kept my eye on that table and was going to cause a scene, but my partner told me to let it go. Anyway, the food was delicious. My partner had a side salad and a ceviche dish. She loved it. I had a side of tempura veggies (I loved tempura veggies and the mushroom was chefs kiss), some Santa Fe spring rolls. Mom had a burger and fries. It was a good meal and a nice area to chill. The bar was packed with hikers who were most likely post-hike and filling up on snacks and beer. That would be me if I lived here. It was a nice day overall. The tram ride, the views, the meal, etc.

We took the tram up, which was really fun! Did a little hike up top then decided to eat before heading back down. There was a bit wait for a table. Option to sit in the little entry hallway or outside, but risk being missed called in. Phone service isn't reliable so if you Wander too far you may miss your table call. Once we were in, we got a table in the corner of the room with glass windows so it was a great view. Food was good. Husband got red chile bbq glazed salmon and I got mediterranean sandwich with hummus. Both were good and filled our stomachs after a nice little hike. A little pricey, but to be expected as I'm sure all the food is hard to travel up there to the resturant. Overall great experience. We are out of owners and we're already up there for the tram ride so why not!

Going to Ten 3 is an experience. It's like going to Disney. You don't go there for just the food - but that would be plenty. Let's start at the bottom because this IS an experience. We easily found a parking spot and walked over and stood in the line for the tram. But we wanted to make sure we wouldn't be standing in line too long for our reservation. We ended up checking in across the corridor and they checked us in over there and let us know we would be told when we could go up as the next group on the tram. Oh, it was pouring rain. By the time we got on the tram it had stopped raining. About halfway up to the top the tram stopped. Apparently the other car was experiencing some wind and when one car stops, they both stop. About 30 seconds later we were back under way. About 15 feet from the dock at the top, the wind really started to blow. The tram stopped, the fog surrounded us and it started to rain. Got some cool shots but people were starting to get concerned. We may have been there for 5 minutes which I'm sure felt much longer. The rain stopped and the fog cleared. It took a little longer for the wind to stop blowing before they would let us dock and exit the car. Still a little rain. By the time we got to the restaurant we were right on time. We parked over an hour before our reservation. By the time we sat down the skies partially cleared and the sun was setting. To say that it looked magical still doesn't adequately describe that scene. We got the menus and our waiter, Jennifer answered all of our questions about the menu items. Lots of very new takes on many different meals. It was difficult to decide. That's okay / get the bread and some wine and continue to look and checkout your neighbors. To say we got the NY Strip and the fish is just pedantic. These meals are so special. It is obvious that a lot of thought and care is put into creating the recipe and preparing the actual meal. Every bite was absolutely delicious. It wasn't cheap but it wasn't just food. I think it was worth it. I'll go again for a special occasion!

It is interesting that from reading another review about not feeling welcomed is the same vibe we got. Came on Labor Day and sat at the bar. The servers at the bar seemed apprehensivqe to wait on until we made uncomfortable eye contact with them. Asked for the Bison burger and they brought us a double cheeseburger. I honestly don't think they knew the difference from beef & bison. Great views from that elevation and nice interior pf decor of the facility. But the service left me with mixed feelings.

We stopped by for a snack at the peak and weren't disappointed with what we tried. The roasted garlic green chili hummus with pita bread was great, they were also able to refill the pita since there was so much dip. I enjoyed the quality of the cappuccino. The mountain time was a bit sour for my taste but my partner enjoyed it. we intended on coming back for more of their offerings but ended up eating at the Homestead cafe, which I would suggest for families.

Went for lunch and added our name to the wait list...we were a group of 6 given a 30-45 min wait time frame....totally fine, we walked around but then decided we wanted to order a drink while we wait. They only allow a certain amount of people in at a time for to go orders...food orders and drink orders are done in the same spot; at the time it was by the 2 bartenders that were also running the full bar! It led to an incredibly slow experience with a very long line of people waiting in the hallways to get permission to step in and order. We finally got our table - we were a group of 6 - this really isn't a place for big groups, just small inside. Our waiter did excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was good, my favorite part were the sweet potato fries! They were perfect!! Overall it was a good experience, I don't think they expected it to be as busy as it was, but we did enjoy it!

We recently celebrated our anniversary here. It was a fabulous dining experience and I think it's a very unique way to enjoy Albuquerque as well as some wonderful food. They have a dining room experience as well as a more casual dining so whether you are going for something big or just an afternoon Summit beer it's a great time! The staff super friendly and attentive. Just don't forget to get your tram pass and get there about an hour before your reservation.

Ask the Community - TEN 3

Can you drive to ten 3?

No. The only access is via the Tramway.

Is the casual dining kid friendly? Is there a separate kids menu?

We were there 8/1/2021, last serving of the evening. The building is two sections divided by a open bar. Formal dining to the left (a few seats overlook valley unless cloudy) & casual dining to the right (looks out to back ski slope). Casual dining…

I just made a reservation for 8:30pm. Then I noticed the tram stops running at 8pm. Is this place accessible by car? If not, how will I get there (and home)?

I would recommend you arrive at the tram around 8pm to arrive at your reservation on time. The tram will not take more passengers up past 8pm but it will continue to run so it can bring customers and employees off the mountain. enjoy!

Is it possible to stop in with my dog while hiking for a beer?

Not really. They have dog crates at the bottom of the Tram before you go up, so that might work for you

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

The last time I went I ordered the salmon and chicharrones risotto and ohhhh man it was good. It was cooked to perfection! One of our guests ordered the filet at medium and it was more like rare. They were able to cook it a little more, but beware on their steak temps. My son got a scallop special with mushroom risotto and he loved it. My other friend got the steak kabobs and she loved her also. The service was decent. We did sit for about 30 minutes at one point before ordering and we were already a bit behind schedule in trying to get out for a play at Albuquerque Little Theater. We let our server know and he didn't really help us out much. We got to our play on time, but barely. He also seemed annoyed at us for letting him know we needed to get out of there. He actually seemed annoyed about a few different things. I've had other servers there that are much kinder and more patient. He knows his food, but he is not the kindest. I do want to check out the little bar area they just opened. It looks more relaxed. They mostly have high tables over in that new bar area which my little short legs don't appreciate, but sitting at the bar sounds fabulous. I'll definitely be back! Cheers!

Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. After several locals recommended Antiquity, we quickly learned why reservations are so hard to come by. We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Antiquity doesn't simply serve dinner, it creates an experience. If you're visiting Albuquerque and looking for a memorable meal, especially for a special occasion, this restaurant deserves a spot at the very top of your list.

Really excellent food, everyone enjoyed their dishes immensely. The Not so Great: They were out of the wines we tried to order - all 3 that we tried to order off the menu, none of which were crossed off (dozens were already blacked out). We finally stopped trying to pick what we wanted and just asked for a suggestion out of what they actually had in-stock, that was similar to what we asked for off the menu that they didn't have. We wound up spending more than what we had originally selected, but the wine was good. It's unclear why they're out of 60% or more of the wines on their menu. They said something about "switching over", whatever that means (from what to what?). They should just print a new menu with what they actually have, not play this game where you try to guess what they might not be out of, that's dumb. Even if it's just a couple of pages of wines that they really have, that's better than 6 pages of stuff that isn't avaialable. Service was mixed, our waiter Shawn was great, but there were other issues, below. The building has some deferred maintenance issues, the bench seat at our booth fell apart when we got up, stuff like that. The entry wasn't very welcoming, but the food was so good, it would make up for everything, except for this.... Now for the Really Bad: We told them about allergies at the table, but when I ordered the dessert crepe with cherries jubilee, I was instead served a crepe chock full of walnuts. Wrong dish, and I'm allergic to walnuts. It was rolled up and filled, so I thought maybe the cherries were inside. I took a bite and has an immediate effect. I spit out the bite (which is embarrassing to have to do at a restaurant with guests), but it was too late. It's not life threatening or anything, but I spent a very miserable night, as a result. I barely got an apology 'sorry they delivered the wrong dish', but no serious concern, and not a single penny off the bill. They didn't even take the charge off for the dessert that I didn't get the first time, and was unable to eat once they gave it to me, because my mouth was on fire. Our table of 4 spent about $400, so it seems like they could have done a little something for us. At least sincere concern, but it it existed, it was never expressed to me. On the way out, I spoke to the owner, who was standing out front (yelling at wait staff about when tables were clearing), and told him the situation. He literally said "what do you want me to do about it?" Well, Dude, something. But no, nothing. He said he will train the staff to be more careful. That seems like something that should have been done already, so this didn't happen to begin with. He said "I owe you one", but didn't take my name or any information for this future unnamed favor, didn't offer a gift certificate, or even a dessert to take home. It seems serving food the customer is allergic to should warrant some kind of acknowledgement. At least a free dessert, or a gift certificate to enjoy a future meal - one without an allergic reaction. Not sure if I'm going back. The food was so excellent, I may go back, but the other experience was very unhappy.
