Was lured in by the sign that said that Dubai chocolate bars were available! My youngest was just telling me he wanted to try it and lo and behold, it was here! I didn't know what to expect or how much it was, but I'm down for new experiences! It is pricey, but what isn't these days! When I tell you it is delicious, believe me! I lived the pistachio center and the crunch was amazing. IMO We ate the entire bar so quickly! Mind you, we tried to savor it, but couldn't resist! Finally found and tried the famous "Dubai chocolate bar" . The worker here was super friendly and professional. Most of the store its a display of all their chocolate treats and there is a small selection of ice cream that you can get as well. Most of the chocolate treats range around $3-5-ish. My friend got some peanut butter chocolate sweets and I got a mint oreo truffle for $2.75 (if I recall correctly). Honestly, I thought the truffle was mediocre and kind of dry. There's mostly an overpowering mint flavor and the oreo aspect of the treat is that there are some crumbs on top, that's it. They have an interesting variety of sweets from Chocolate Strawberries to Chocolate Jalapeños . After looking extensively through their selection, we decided to get the Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark and order a Chocolate Strawberry Shake as well. The Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark was not overly sweet and you could probably eat the entire bar of chocolate without feeling too guilty afterwards; however, you could only taste a subtle flavor of peppermint. Their wild side also have feature chocolate dipped bacon and chocolate dipped jalapeños. Every year, I plan ahead and order a Valentine's strawberry bouquet. It consists of a dozen or more chocolate covered strawberries presented as a flower bouquet. My girlfriend always looks forward to it and makes sure not to mention it to anyone so she has all the strawberries to herself. There was a $5 minimum on card, so I had to buy more than one item. I left the store before I tasted my purchases. I was very disappointed. The almond cluster was not good at all. Came by here last Sunday with my mother and husband to pick up some chocolate goodies to drop off at my husband's work place for edible Christmas gifts (everyone loves chocolate!). I ended up purchasing about 20 chocolate truffles (cost $1.95 each, prior to tax). The service was kind of the slow side because after I told the girl behind the counter what items I wanted, she wrapped each truffle individually in a white paper (the same paper you would find in the bakery section at your local market that you would use to pick up a baked good from the bakery case). I didn't personally get to taste any of the truffles (they were gifts after all), but according to my husband, the people loved it.
