Well, I'm sitting on the side of the road once again trying to get my van back home. I left my van with Temecula Transmission for over a year, initially saying fix all leaks and please get it running properly - no budget was set. After a year if it being in their shop, it broke down several times just blocks from the shop only to go back in and try again- got it somewhat running well enough to get down to our house in San Diego- broke down near the house and ended up at their friend's shop on Escondido (another story) where van was dropped for several months, again, no budget set just wanted it running good - here I am, broken down again, after putting about 40 miles and several thousand dollars between the 2 shops- still the same issues and another tow bill home. Does anyone do good, honest repair work anymore? read more

Definitely don't recommend this place they worked on my hot Rod said that they couldn't do it because of the carburetor I went and I purchased a $500 carburetor the same day they could not tune it come to find out that my line on the distributor to the carburetor had a bearing in it this Mickey Mouse job ran me $1000 read more

After spending $16,787 dollars here is my experience. Work done Trans rebuild, C notch rear end, Install new crate motor, air bags all around, and torque converter. Trans leaking since day 1 still leaking. Friends make fun of me because welds look horrific on C notch. Rear air bag fell off doing 80 on freeway ( bolt not tightened the other one was loose too) Had to replace front airbags because bump stops on A arm were not cut off. Airlines too close to headers melted line (droped to ground almost crashed also needed to get towed that day.) I took my truck to a new shop and they informed me airlines where from Home Depot drip line system. He also informed me the $1,700 upgraded Torque converter was stock. Eddie did not want to fix any issues or reimburse time or 3 tow truck rides. Don't have time for court just wanted to warn fellow truck builders. Good Luck. Almost forgot... Crate motor was not warrantied because this shop put on valve covers too small and it was hitting top of cover. Had to pay for new motor build. read more

This shop is legit!!! Didn't try to upsell me unneeded repairs. Gave me advise on my issue which they diagnosed for free. We went through with their plan and it fixed my problem. Temecula Toyota was quoting me for about $5000 cause they said I needed to buy a whole new transmission. This shop had me back on the road for about $250. Good honest and experienced staff. I appreciate this place. I first talked to the owner Eddie about my vehicle and he recommended a plan of action for my car and a price lower than the competition. While working on my car he found a problem with the air conditioning and the power steering. He didn't charge me for labor for these repairs, just the cost of the parts. When finished with my car the cost came in on the agreed amount. I took it back when a hose was leaking and he fixed it for free. It was part of the warranty. I went in to get my transmission flushed and my car only took a transmission fluid that Honda only has so he took the time to drive to the dealer and get some fluid then come back to the shop and flush my transmission. After several problems with my TCI Street fighter transmission and being highly recommended by a couple of friends I removed and took my 700R4 transmission into Temecula Transmissionfor repairs and upgrade as was not going into 3rd or 4th gear. After rebuilding and upgrading I reinstalled transmission and had car towed to Temecula Transmission to have them set TV cable and adjust transmission. Took car home very happy then in less than 60 miles transmission failed again. I had car towed back up and it sat there from Monday to Friday and they did zero investigation as to why it failed again. They did return my money but I would NEVER recommend these guys to anyone. They told me I revved the engine too high (Never over 5000 rpm) and my car had too much horsepower. Transmission rated for 725 hp car engine rated at 469 hp. A Chevy High Performance ZZ454. I brought my car in to have a problem diagnosed, and was told what the problem was. Spent over $500 to have new parts installed, and the initial problem didn't go away. Took it to another shop to find out that Temecula Trans & Diff missed the initial problem entirely, and neglected to catch the bad U-joint. Won't go back, didn't like it there. read more

On December 15, 2020, I brought my 2017 Colorado diesel to Temecula Transmission and Differential for a 50,000 mile service of my transmission and differential and to install a deep pan, a specialized transmission sensor, and cabling. BEST MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT ON MY TRUCK. Eddy and every member of the team were beyond outstanding in the way they managed the service of my vehicle and the way they responded to and engaged with me as a customer. The knowledge I gained about servicing my transmission and diff helped me tremendously. WORTH EVERY PENNY. This was the first service on my transmission and diff since purchasing it new from Chevrolet. The truck is so much fun to drive again that I find myself making up reasons to drive and make extra trips. I was shocked at how much of a difference a professional and competent service of my transmission would make for my vehicle. My MPG's are even up 1 to 2 MPG (hwy driving). While the owners manual said that I didn't need to even service either unit at this time, everyone I trusted said to ask around.
