The staff was not very engaging. We were greeted by a guy who asked if it was our first time and he gave us instructions on picking something out to paint and said he would be with us once we were seated but no one came to help us after that. It was so great!!! I was really anxious to go, and I drove there but I didn't go in at first. Then they called and asked if I would still make my appointment, and that gave me the courage to go. And the class was amazing! I took ceramics in high school and this was so much better. The instructor came around and gave everyone a little help on their pieces and explained everything so well. We came here for our 8 year anniversary (gift is pottery). Hubby really didn't want to go, but once we started he had so much fun. V and Tory were so nice, helpful and fun to learn from. I took my son here to paint a mug for Father's Day. We were really excited to try it out! The shop is cute and they have a lot of different choices. I also love how it's at Vail Headquarters! We sat outside and painted and it was great! I'm sad to give it 3 stars but the male and female they have working there have HORRIBLE customer service. It was my first time and I had to pry for every piece of information such as where can we get all of our supplies, etc. Not once did they smile and the way they acted and their body language just screamed "I hate my job." It was definitely a downer. When we went to pick up our piece a week later, the same girl was there (I think her name is Kim.) she acted the same way. Not friendly, no smile, and as if she hated being there. I think it could be a much nicer place and better experience if you could walk in and at least feel welcomed read more

I really like the new location of Temecula Clay at Vail Ranch Headquarters. The studio is not big but it is clean, and bright and there are so many options, from dropping in and painting a pre-made clay piece (which is what we did this time), taking a class for kids and/or adults, date night events and camps. All the supplies, tools, paint, are included in one price on the bottom of each piece, there isn't a sitting fee that gets tagged on to the cost, which is nice. The atmosphere is great, and the owner/staff is there to walk you through the process and help if needed. The projects are ready for pick up in a week! Can't wait to see it!! read more

Had a great time at the couples clay date class. It was cool that it was so hands on and we came away with two pieces of custom art! It was wonderful to take an in person class that was relaxed and fun. The instructor was very skilled in working with clay and the directions were pretty clear, but she wasn't the most personable and was kind of frazzled with a large class of 10 people and having to ring people up etc. They should have two employees working during classes I think. read more

I was so excited when I found Temecula Clay in Temecula.  I started taking classes when they first opened in September at the Vail Ranch historical site.  The instructor Debbie was so sweet and patient!
