Cute comfy place. I was a little disappointed because I drink sugar free syrups and they hardly carry any flavors. A bit confusing to, first time there and the parking isn't the best and the girl helping me didn't really say anything, um your in customer service, help people, but she may have been quiet but she was nice. This place is beautiful and one can tell the love and care that went into the remodel of this historic building. So excited for our little town to be getting some new and diverse spaces to enjoy. My iced tea was brewed fresh from a bag of my choice and was served ICE COLD. That's never happened to me! Somehow the hot water brewing process required always translates to a watery tea. Not here! The staff was incredibly friendly and warm. Cool extra rooms upstairs where my wild brood could sort of get out of the frey and not annoy other customers. Ha. My kids loved the giant chalk board and colored chalk. Currently the baked goods are mostly Costco variety but the menu is soon expanding to fresh sandwiches and paninis and other options and the drinks are top notch. Can't wait to come back. read more

I've had a better experience. I ordered a Matcha tea and it was and it was okay, a little more bitter than I would have liked it. The reason so was that they forgot to put the sweetener in my drink. Of course I wouldn't have known that if they didn't correct themselves. So they took back my tea and fixed it. So that was good, just would have been nice the first time around. read more

What a fun place! I honestly drove past this location twice before realizing I was in the right spot. This coffee shop is located inside of an old house which from the outside blends perfectly into the surrounding area. The baristas on staff are super friendly and accommodating and the seating is full of overstuffed chairs and small tables. There is ample seating for everyone and for a Saturday morning is still quiet enough to study. Although it's a little hike from Hillsboro, I will definitely be back here. read more

Cons: I just fell in love with a coffee house 18 miles away. Pros: EVERYTHING else! I have been looking up "boba" places to get my Vietnamese Coffee fix since moving to Oregon. This place totally delivered! In fact, it was the best I've had! Their spin on it was so satisfying and delicious! They use a sweeter, thicker milk and a pinch of sea salt to counteract the sweetness. I usually finish my coffee in two minutes, but the heaviness made for a longer indulgence. The building is just gorgeous inside and out. It is minimally, yet impeccably decorated. It was very clean. The music was a perfect volume and of a neutral genre (this is important to me in any business). The menu was diverse and just funky enough to make you want to be a little more daring but still feel safe throwing your $5 out there. The two employees (I'm thinking the owners) were friendly, welcoming and informative. I tried two drinks: the perfect Vietnamese coffee, and their "pink horchata" (I had to make it worth it since I drove 25 minutes on a whim lol). The horchata was homemade and delicious with the most funky twist of adding strawberry purée. It was startling at first but delicious and addicting after the first sip! I live in Portland, so this was definitely a random drive for a place I saw on Yelp.... but I don't regret it at all. Great environment to meet friends, study (plenty of quiet spaces and tables), or sit alone and read. Even the porch was adorable! Such a gem! I can't wait to come back (hopefully this week!) and try the other menu items. I really hope this place does well! You can tell a lot of care went into opening this place! Love this coffee house, very cute and just my style. The Coffee is by far the best in Forest Grove and I have be in search for the perfect latte since I moved out here. I can only give it four stars though based on the food selection they have Costco muffins you can spot them from a mile away and I think anyone that's been to coffee shops as much as I have are just over the bulk muffins. Hopefully they will change that in the future and I can change this rating to five stars. read more

I'm currently working remote for my company in San Diego and I wanted to venture out to my new obsession, Habitat for Humanity Restore and saw there was one in Forest Grove. I had no idea where that was, but I'm up for adventure. I figured I'd drive over, find a Starbucks, do some work and take my lunch period to peruse the store. The Starbucks my Waze took me to was at a grocery store...no thanks! I had to find another option quick! Telvet Coffee popped up and I let my GPS take me there. At first I was confused coming around the corner thinking I made a wrong turn. Then I saw this little old house and realized that was it. Well, this has to be fun and cool. I walked in and ordered myself a hot chocolate (I'm not a coffee drinker). The girl asked me if I wanted chocolate or regular...I looked at her funny thinking, I just said hot chocolate! Is regular just hot milk?! She then said, "the whipped cream". Now that not only changes everything...but YUM! Chocolate, of course! I selected my seat in a corner to take a meeting as to not bother others. That chocolate whipped cream should be on EVERYTHING! If I ever end up in Forest Grove, this is the place I need to stop and spend a little time at. read more

I was really excited when I saw Telvet's drink menu for the first time. The sea cream iced black coffee was reminiscent of one of my favorite drinks in California. It's nice to finally have a close substitute in Oregon. I tried the dirty horchata as well but wasn't a fan. I love horchata but I wasn't a fan of the combination. I seem to be in the minority on that one. At some point I'll try the bubble tea or a frappe but why get something different when you've found what you like! 4.5 stars. read more

I moved back to Oregon from Hawaii earlier this year and found myself to be missing Vietnamese iced coffee. I decided to search for some and was happy to find a local coffee shop that served some. This Vietnamese iced coffee is the best! I have to practice a lot of self control to not go get it 3 times a day it's so delicious and on top of that the service at Telvet's always friendly and quick. We were in this Coffee shop a few months ago when mask mandates were still required. There was an female employee who had on a "mask" that was made of some form of fabric large mesh, totally see thru and had no filter. My friend and I asked her if that was mesh and she said, "yes" and seemed to wait for us to challenge the fact it was not any form of cloth or paper mask that would be required for the mask mandate. We said nothing, not wanting our coffee spit in or anything and when we saw the owner outside later, where we were sitting, we asked him about it. We questioned if it was a safe and effective mask and he shrugged and said, "I guess it is okay, she says its fine so I don't argue with her." When my friend questioned more about it not being safe and looked like it was a joke, the owner sighed and said he knew but did not want to argue with her. This went from our go to place on our weekly walks to us no longer stopping at. We moved to Bella Donna or Kafe, where the employees all seem to take the COVID safety requirements seriously when they were in place. read more

However, yesterday, I ordered their hot jasmine milk tea, I can say it was one of the worst bubble tea I've ever had. It was very bitter, and not milky. Their selection is unique and delicious and their staff is very welcoming and friendly. This is a family owned business and they put a lot of work into making this place the perfect coffee (or tea) spot. It's conveniently across from Pacific campus and there are tons of seating so you can do easily come here to study after class or bring a study group too. FG has been needing a coffeehouse like this for a long time. Everything about this place is on point from the design to the seating to the menu and product. As someone who has freelanced from hundreds of cafes all over the country, I'm over the moon to find this gem in my hometown. Lots of space, natural light, indoor/outdoor and upstairs/downstairs seating, converted historic house, sturdy tables and padded chairs, fast wifi, and friendly staff. Found this little coffee shop on our way to Pacific University and I'm so glad we did! It's a cute little renovated house with tons of character. It inside is a great place to study or hangout. I tried a hemp milk latte on the suggestion of the barista. It was amazing! I never had hemp milk before and he was really helpful in explaining what it was like. After I ordered he suggested I try the Vietnamese coffee next time. I told him that I'm just visiting and he offered to give me a sample so I could try it. It was amazing!
