I found them on a quick search and called them up to see if they could help. They are an authorized Rega dealer so it was exactly what I was looking for. Took it in and they did a complete service: general cleaning, lubrication of components, de-oxify contacts, etc. I chose a Rega ND7 cartridge as the replacement and that was installed as well. They do a very thorough listening test to ensure it's all dialed in optimally. I got my P5 home and....oh my!! Absolutely MASSIVE improvement in sound quality and couldn't believe it sounded this good with the cartridge not even broken in. Really can't recommend them enough, they are vinyl experts and super nice too, it's always great to meet fellow audiophiles! Thanks again guys.

It's refreshing, especially after dealing with the "geniuses" at Apple where it seems as though the solution to every problem is a new iPhone. I refused to believe a hairline 1/8 inch crack in screen doomed me to spend 1/2 a paycheck on a new phone. A co-worker told be to come to "uBreakiFix" when my tpuch screen was not responding. Apple insisted that it was a "motherboard issue" that reqd a new phone. uBreakiFix wasn't surprised to hear the "genius'" take. After trying all they could to save me from having to pay them a DIME, uBreakiFix replaced the screen for about $150 (OLED). I came in today, frantic, bc I need my cell to login. I had updated new iOS and my phone was unresponsive afterwards (apparently an issue with many iPhones updating to 16.?). Forced restart didn't work/charge/nothing. I wasn't feeling too optimistic when I dropped it off at 4pm. They ran diagnostics on my 14+ (free) and told me that they'd have it fixed or have an answer for me in 1-1.5 hrs. When I returned it was working like a charm. The county IT dept couldn't do it but these guys/girls did. They said it was a simple fix, appreciated my return business and I walked out...NO CHARGE. Can't recommend this place more. 5/5 all around. THANK YOU GUYS!!

So many repair shops either didn't want to bother or quoted a ridiculous, "eff-off" price just to send a message that they didn't want to work on them. He did not. Very knowledgeable and friendly "nerd" owner with a great, customer-oriented attitude. And he underpriced the competition by almost half! (My suspicion is that the others break a lot of screens doing this repair, so they build in the cost of making a mistake into their price; whereas he is careful enough and uses methods to not break the screen so as to not need to build the cost of his mistakes into the price.) FWIW, I have high standards, sometimes think I know too much, and can ask too many questions. Mike indulged me on all questions regarding a simple iPad repair and then some. (Other repair shops didn't want to talk about their methods or ideas). Cleaned my iPhone port for free, too! Very good communication of the risks and options for the iPad repair. I've been having issues with my Samsung phone where the phone will be fully charged and less than 4 hours later, while only on standby, be totally dead. On Saturday, I took the phone to The Best Buy (I originally purchased the device at a Best Buy) in Round Rock, which is the only one of their stores in the Austin area that services the device. The "technician" tested my device and said the battery was fine and they couldn't replace it because it past their "thorough test". Not one to take things at face value, I went over to iTech in the Domain. The technician was knowledgeable and pleasant and agreed there was something up with the phone. He opened up the device (with me standing there) and to both of our surprise the battery was swollen to twice it's correct size and ready to explode. Remember all those people who couldn't get on airplanes last year because their Galaxy Note 7's were ticking time bombs?...yeah like that! New battery installed and I've had zero issues with it since. Apparently, Best Buy's rigorous test was to ask "is it a battery?" and if the answer is "yes" it passes. I will NEVER give Best Buy my business again. Not only did they fail to correctly diagnose the issue with my device but they let me walk out the door with a device that could have caused physical harm or fire damage. (and yes, I'll be leaving them a review also.) So, in short, bring your device to iTech in the domain with the confidence that it's in good hands. Best Buy....I hope Amazon puts you out of business.

I needed to change my battery which I bought for $25 on Amazon for my HP Envy. Seemed like a pretty…read moresimple and cheap solution as I'm not ready to buy a new laptop yet. Welp, I unscrewed all the visible screws on the bottom of the laptop but the base would not come off, so I pried it off.....which was a bad idea. Once I got it off, a few things naturally came loose, one piece even snapped in half, now I was in trouble. For all you HP users that don't know this, there are HIDDEN screws under the lower rubber piece. I tried to put everything back together but now my laptop wasn't reading the Boot Drive. Enter Star Electronics, I found them on google and they are literally half a mile from me. All the reviews about their service and prices are accurate! I was lucky enough to he helped by Ramazan, who told me he'd do his best to recover my Hard Drive for $80 (a brand new hard drive was only $40 more). My laptop is my life, and I was very nervous about a self inflicted fatal error. Thankfully Ramazan was able to recover my hard drive and got me my laptop back good as new in about 5 hours!! Highly recommend them for any electronic repair, their shop in the Lakeline Mall is really nice too! Thank you Star Electronics you saved the day!
