Definitely recommend and will be returning.

The menu, however, was a little overwhelming. There are a ton of options, and there were also quite a few handwritten instructions, which made ordering feel more complicated than it needed to be. I got the 4 with all chicken, which was fine overall but definitely had some hits and misses. The tamale was easily the best part and had great flavor. The taco was unfortunately pretty soggy, while the enchilada was about as forgettable as it gets. Overall, Kiko's has friendly staff, plenty of space, and a massive menu, but the food was pretty inconsistent. The tamale was good enough that I would be willing to come back and try some other things, but this meal itself was just okay.

They decor is lovely and festive from the giant Frida painting to the lights over the table (I'll get pics next time). Our server showed up immediately with menus. The host brought chips & salsa. The chips were warm, thin, crispy, and had just the right amount of salt. The salsa was delicious with just the right amount of heat (a little more wouldn't make me sad) and wonderful tomato flavor. We ordered drinks next. We were pleasantly surprised that they had non-alcoholic option, especially a margarita. They're my sister's favorite and she can no longer drink them due to a heart condition so this made her day! It was delicious too! I ordered the Quesabirria tacos even though I don't eat meat because the old me has been dying to try these. My sister ordered the Street Tacos which happened to be $3 since it was Taco Tuesday. The meat in all the tacos was tender, juicy, and so flavorful! My sister loved the Al pastor taco! We could have shared because it was a lot of food, but so worth it! The staff was attentive and our server (sorry I didn't catch her name) was extremely accommodating and eager to make sure we had everything we needed, not to mention sweet and friendly. We will definitely be going back. We've already referred friends who have been, now, and given their stamp of approval.
