I took it to cpr Meridian, and they fixed my phone in 2 hours charging me half what Forge Corners did. The CPR tech said, my phone was dirty, no corrosion had been cleaned, and nothing had been touched. Hence it only took a short time to fix, ie clean up the corrosion from the water damage. The response from Forge Corners? "...that's unfortunate..." "...our policy...."

I was constantly the one having to check in to see if they were making progress because they don't communicate whatsoever and also are incredibly incompetent. Don't waste your time or money on these clowns. I ended up having to take a broken PC after spending $150 on "service fees" along with the $350 for the part just because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. They're a joke and a scam. UPDATE: Go to LifeLine Repair in Boise. They solved all my problems within 24 hours. They were fantastic. The cleaning 4 corners pretended they were doing was going to take "at least a week" and LifeLine Repair did it within 3 hours. The only reason they are rated remotely high is because they pay Yelp to funnel their positive reviews to databases, look it up. Then run as fast as possible away from their store. It's laughable

First a little background information... I have a spine injury that thankfully allows me to walk…read morebut not very much before it's extremely painful and I can no longer feel my feet or legs. Just prior to walking in I had used up all my "good back" Time in an unsuccessful attempt to buy some thing at Winco. I walked in hot, crabby and in pain. I thought I would be able to get in and out in a snap since it was just a battery for my new phone and I brought the battery with me. I was told it would be about an hour because there were three repairs ahead of me. I knew I wasn't going to be able to make it an hour. I decided to leave knowing that I wouldn't be able to return for quite some time since I'm having my back worked on in a week or so. The employer owner (I don't know which it was) apologized and as I was in my car getting ready to leave he came up and said he called the customer prior to me and they were willing to wait. Talk about going the extra mile! I don't think I have ever had that happen before. So I returned to the store got comfortable waiting for the phone and I don't think it was even five minutes before the battery was in and ready to go. It sure as heck beat the long wait at an Apple Store! Wait. Did I mention Apple store? Well, I have an old phone and have no need of a new one but the Apple store charges more than twice the price and requires you to go through a lot of machinations before they will even work on it. So extra kudos all the way around. Outstanding service. Great price. And the ability to deal with a crabby old lady!

I left a game (NCAA Football 09) in the dvd drive so that they would have something to use when they tested the repair and informed the clerk of this when I dropped the unit off for repair. Two days later I picked up the unit, inquired as to whether or not the game was still in it, which I was assured that it was, brought it home only to discover that the game was of course not in it. I called the Handy Guys to inquire about the games possible whereabouts at which time they ensured me that they would find it and get it two me. They assured me that they would call me back as soon as they located my game. I received no call backs and when I contacted them the next day they told me that they had asked all of their employees about the game and had no recollection of ever seeing before further informing me that the repair they performed would not have required them to access the DVD drive and therefore the game must still be at my home. I'm not crazy about video games but I do expect that a business I support would protect my personal property and at least offer compensation for their mistake, which the Handy Guys of Boise, ID certainly has made no attempt to do. From a customer service standpoint the Handy Guys is one of the worst businesses in Boise, do yourself a favor take your damaged electronic equipment to someplace that respects its customers and will not steal from them.
