Easy Appliances came to my home to repair my stove top, but the technician said they could not source the part needed to complete the repair. During the visit, he mentioned that a large portion of his job involves telling customers that repairs cannot be completed, and that I was the third customer that day who had paid for a service call without receiving a repair. More concerning was the technician's conduct. He raised his voice at me inside my home, in front of my three children who were eating lunch. This was unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. If parts are frequently unavailable, that should be clearly communicated before charging customers. Based on both the lack of service provided and the unprofessional behavior, I would not recommend this company. read more

Branden, the owner of Easy's Appliance, and I had a misunderstanding on work that he committed to but was unable to complete. When I called to discuss it with him he was combative and clearly stated he wasn't interested in my side of the story and that he knew everything he needed to know. He hung up on me. When I called him back he hung up on me again. Worst customer service I've ever experienced and from the owner no less. I would never recommend Easy's Appliance to anyone. read more

After searching for several months for a repairman to fix the lights on my Zephyr venthood, Branden came out and correctly determined what was wrong and ordered the parts needed. Zephyr eventually filled the order and Branden came back to change out the face and the button module. Beware of the service charges for Easy Repair. I did not do enough research and had them come out. The charged me an $86.00 service call PLUS a $104.00 labor charge. Most companies credit back the service call by applying it to the labor charge. Also, was told by the service rep that he thought the parts for the ice maker would be in by the end of the week. Three weeks later, after hearing nothing from them, I called and was told the items were on back order. When I asked what the estimated delivery time would be, she said she did not know. I asked why they had not informed me of the delay, and she said she had too many customers to do that kind of follow up. This is after they cashed my check for $665. Not a happy customer here. read more

When I called Monday morning to schedule a repairman to check out the chest freezer that had died over the weekend after a cellar flood, they were able to send someone out immediately. That's the only good news. The repairman arrived. He said [quoting invoice] "Tested bad compressor getting proper voltage not turning over." He said it couldn't be repaired, the freezer was dead, here's the service charge bill, and he wouldn't charge me for labor. The rest of the story is that our family talked about it and decided to go for a second opinion and scheduled an appointment with a competing local repair company. The 2nd company's repairman evaluated and determined the starter needed replacing and fixed it within 1/2 hour. The freezer works. I won't ever call Easy's Repair Service again. read more

I called Easy's repair services on Wednesday, Nov. 20, when our washer stopped working. The lady who answered explained that it is hard to get somebody over so close to weekend, and scheduled a technician for Monday, Nov. 25. He came as scheduled, tested our washer and said that a new motor, as well as some other new parts were needed. He said that somebody would call us the next Monday to schedule installation. The next Monday came, Dec. 2, and nobody called. So, I dialed again, only to learn that a shipment from GE would be arriving the next day, Tuesday Dec. 3, and somebody would call me to schedule. Can you guess? Right, no call at all for the rest of the week. I call back again, the next Monday now, Dec. 9. Now, oh great luck!!! The parts are in and the technician is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11 to install first thing in the morning. And he certainly calls on Wednesday, Dec. 11, first thing in the morning, but not to confirm the installation! No, he is telling us that one of the parts is missing, and ... yes, you guessed it, somebody would call us TOMORROW to re-schedule the installation (once they find the part, of course). But, nobody called tomorrow or the day after, and now it is the weekend again, December 14, almost 1 month from our first call. If somebody told us we would be without a washer that long, we would have called a different company. Very disappointing indeed! I like how your web site promises "Easy's Repair Service will be there quickly to reduce down time." We have been loyal customers to Jim's Appliances, your affiliate, and purchased numerous items over the years: washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher. Not sure why we are treated like this... read more

This company has the worse customer service I have ever dealt with. They came out checked the microwave to see what wrong and said they couldn't find anything but a blown fuse and two days later fuse blew again. Person who answered phone for them could be the most unfriendly person ever in a customer service role. They indicated their work is guaranteed and when the technician came out again his first response was oh no not this one. The microwave is an over the range and has to be removed to work on and we could tell he didn't want to do the work. His response was what did you do to blow the fuse again and he indicated that he was going to charge us again to pull the microwave and look to see what else it could be despite their 90 guarantee. He mentioned he was the owner of the company and if that is true and he and his receptionist handle other customers in this manner I can't foresee why anyone would want to do business with them. We have purchased all of our appliances through the years from Jim's appliance and they are the company Jim's sent us to for doing the repair work. This doesn't reflect very favorably on Jim's appliance. read more

I've used Easy's Repair for 16 years and they've always done a good job. Prompt scheduling and service. Recently, I had some repair work on 2 different kitchen appliances and there were some "glitches" along the way, mostly due to slow delivery of ordered parts from the manufacturer. I was ready to find another repair service...but the technician, Brandon, was able to help me understand the breakdown in service/communication and deliver some good customer service. Our dryer gave up the ghost on a Sunday afternoon. After scrambling to finish up the laundry I went looking for an appliance repair company. I took advantage of an internal employee bulletin board at work, and Easy's was the company most enthusiastically recommended. I called and spoke to a very friendly woman, told her my tale (a friend had been able to determine that the belt was broken). They were able to schedule a technician to come out on a Veteran's Day, which was great because it meant I didn't have to take time from work to be home. The technician arrived promptly, he was friendly and knew his business. Fortunately he also had the belt we needed on his truck. While installing it he cleaned some lint out of the dryer and our vents. It took less than an hour for the work to be completed, and I was able to pay with my credit card. I am very pleased to have found Easy's, I know that in the future I can count on them to work to meet my schedule and to be prompt and efficient in repairing our appliances. read more

I searched online for a refrigeration repair "free estimate". Easy's Repair showed up at the top of the list, so I called. At no time did they tell me that I would be charged for an estimate until after the estimate was done. It turned out the refrigerator's compressor went out, so it wasn't worth fixing. That was when the repairman told me I would be charged $76.50 for the estimate. This tells me that Easy's Repair is involved in false advertising. They purposely have embedded keywords into their website and done Search Engine Optimization that places them at the top of a search for "free estimates." Otherwise, they would not be listed at all in an online search. They should have told me when I called and asked for a free estimate, but they did not. I just received their invoice in the mail, and I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. This company is dishonest if they use the keywords "free estimate" in Google Adwords or another search company platform, but don't actually give free estimates. If they had told me they were going to charge me, I would have called a different refrigeration repair company that clearly advertises "free estimates." read more
