No one answers the phone. If you show up the door is locked . No website no way to leave an email or a voicemail because the phone goes to a fax . I didn't really want to work this hard to pay someone for a washer . If I hear from them I might improve this rating. I needed a new refrigerator after my fancy LG refrig quit with a repair cost of $1,800. I looked around and was so impressed with this store. Ron was very helpful and knowledgeable and I really appreciated the help. I bought a nice refrig and picked the day for delivery. They were here first thing and setting it up was easy and it was over before it began almost. I will be going back here for any other appliances I need to replace. I score them a 10 plus. We found washer and dryer set to replace aged pair. Salesperson explained good & bad of different mfg, features his warranty and delivery cost. My wife and I went to bank to get funds withdrawn and went back to business. A different store person assisted us. We asked her to write up the sale with tax, delivery/setup and old machine haul away. She asked for address and immediately stated we don't do Melba. I told her not actually Melba but 4 miles closer on highway 45. She got testy and stated again we don't support Melba. OK I said and put my (7) $100 dollars bills away and we are finding another vendor who believes in customer service. I guess buy local is a joke. My residence is closer than driving across the town of Nampa, and what is $50.00 delivery charge for anyway. read more

Went to one nearby store and was disappointed in the selection of used refrigerators, and the associate there wouldn't acknowledge my daughter and I walked in because he was on the phone, even when we said hello. Came to Garritys, received a nice welcome, a simple run down of the selection, and no pressure! Great prices, great deal on delivery, and a special discount on my fridge of choice. Bought used washing machine here in October 2021. The price was a bit higher than a couple nearby competitors, but the promised warranty was much better. In our case, it ended up that we needed the warranty service, and the warranty proved to be 100% legit. I'm pretty sure now that we've got a good machine, delivered very fast, and at a good price. Warranty service happened the next day after my call too. These people are good and responsive. read more

Recently, I purchased an Over-range Microwave with Exhaust Fan and light from them. Again, the product was very reasonably priced. The installers were on time and did a really good job. I called this place to see if they could fix the door on my elderly Mom's Dishwasher. She was unable to close and lock. I had been told by a previous repair person she needed a new locking mechanism which would cost over $400.00 plus labor. Reps from Garrity, showed up quickly, and advised, all that was wrong, was the "dishwasher" was out of balance. Whatever they did, she is now able to open and close the door with ease. The owner of this shop is rude to customers and went as far to curse using the F word when questioned why the packaging on a new part he ordered had been opened, had no packaging around it and had grease on areas that should be clean. His unprofessionalism is astounding!! I would recommend not stepping foot in his shop go somewhere that treas their customers right. Our 5yr old fridge stopped cooling properly. I looked online and found it was probably the start relay. I called Garrity Appliance and talked with Randy. He came out promptly, and agreed it was a $60 start relay. Then he checked the motherboard and found a solder burnout. He said that would be an additional $200, plus his $60 service fee. So I started writing out the check and then he realized the compressor was not firing properly. He said: "Look, a new compressor is going to be another $700 ... save the $1020 we're up to - I'll only charge you the $60 for the service call - and come into the store tomorrow and check out our used fridges." Randy could have charged us $320, then left us to deal with another $700 problem. Instead, he recommended another solution. We took his advice and went to the store the next day. We were pleasantly greeted by the owner's wife. She showed us a great selection of clean, used appliances. We found a nice fridge that fit our needs. She immediately took $100 off the $750 price, then told us that $40 of the $60 service fee from yesterday would also be applied, so the fridge was now $610 with $35 delivery. These guys had just saved us over $410!! The owner Ron and tech Randy delivered it the next day and they were both courteous and professional. The new-used fridge had one small issue, and they both came back the next day and fixed it without any charge. These guys rock! Local, small business that isn't handcuffed to corporate commission-hungry sales or fee-per-incident shady service techs. If your appliances crap out on you, give them a call!! read more

We have purchased two fridges and a washing machine from Garrity Appliance over a 10 year span. The first fridge was wonderful, it lasted about 5 years and customer service was great helping us select it as well as delivering it and removing the old one. Then a couple of years ago we purchased another fridge. They installed an ice maker in it for us, which was nice. The ice maker has quit working twice, but it may be because of our hard water. But I don't know. Also the door handle and a piece off the bottom of it keep falling off. It is only a minor annoyance. These are used appliances, after all. But this last year we purchased a washing machine. The man argued with me about the capacity size, he insisted that all washing machines have the same capacity and it is just a marketing gimmick to get people to pay more for larger capacities. So he talked me into a used kenmore washer. When he installed it he was a bit rude. It would only hold a medium sized load and lasted 6 months and 3 weeks. So we just purchased a brand new Maytag, and will likely never step foot in Garrity Appliance again. This store has changed. read more
