Tehran plate with side of salad and rice(comes with order)
Lyna O.

Experience: Came here on a Sat early evening. No reservations, just walk up. We were seated outside, then once a party left we took the table inside by the window. Small space but cozy. There were people there. The food came out pretty quickly, music was lively inside. Cute location, I liked the cafe style set up. First time trying Persian food. Was fun being in this enclave. It's a good location and next to many other bakeries, shops, etc. Food: Ordered 3 small plates (roasted eggplant dip, hummus, and pickled veggies), tahdig with 2 stews, and the Tehran plate special, which came with a plate or rice and a salad. Everything was very very tasty. From the dips to the stews, rice, and juicy meets. Very fresh, seasoned well, good flavor, a great dinner meal. Service: It was more of an order at the counter experience, not much interaction, but didn't mind it. Parking: Metered parking on Westwood, on a Saturday evening, plenty of open spaces. Ended up parking in a neighborhood 2 minutes from the restaurant, very easy and convenient. Verdict: Fun date night idea and location. Would def recommend the cuisine to anyone, can't go wrong, delicious food.

Chicken Barg kabob

Amazing food and service. One of the best kabobs I've had. The two people working there did it all. A true family business. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

Cute Persian spot on Robertson

Visiting the area and found this spot near me, wow what a treat. The Lady who welcomed me and my friends is the hostess, cook and food runner. Worth the wait and I would wait again. Had the Chicken (Flat) kabob and salad with a side of pickled vegetables. YUMMY!!! Truly enjoyed the visit, sitting outside and enjoying this meal.

Great service and great and easy to order amazing Persian Food in the area. Great environment and friendly environment for family and friends. Highly recommended if you are around the area. Great customer service. She was really nice and kind to us. Definitely going back again and enjoy Ghormeh Sabzi. Great Salad Shirazi and great Persian Appetizers.

Chelo Kabob Koobideh

The Chelo Kabob Koobideh was a bit dry and just tasted like hamburger. Mast O Mosir was good. Nothing good enough for me to try anything else on the menu.

The molded pita bread

Today I placed an order through GRUBHUB. I was craving the Ash e Reshteh soup because I hadn't had it in years. I've never eaten here before but I used to get the soup in Glendale. I ordered the soup with tabouli salad and requested pita bread on the side. My order was delivered and while I was eating the soup I noticed green mold on the pita bread. I called the restaurant and spoke to a woman and told her that there was mold on the pita bread. She said that it doesn't come with pita bread anyways. I told her that doesn't justify why I received the bread with mold on it. I told her that I'm going to post a review. She said do whatever you like!

K7-Koobideh

The food was amazing in my opinion, as one of the most underrated Persian restaurants in California. I got the #K7 and the meat was very flavorful with soft buttery rice and roasted veggies. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves beef to try it. A sweet lady runs the restaurant and although it was just my friends and I inside, she was so personable and made us feel at home. The inside of the restaurant is a little small but also has lots of outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal. I personally would love to go again just to support the wonderful lady who works there but the food is definitely worthwhile as well. Overall I strongly recommend!!

Small and looks a little hole in the wall - we walked by and thought we had missed it first. Mostly outdoor seating with some cramped indoor. We ordered at counter and paid and then sat down. I think a son came in to eat at his parents place and he took the table next to us and proceeded to have two cell conversations loudly. First on one phone and then a second cell rang and he spoke on that. When I had a call come in during dinner I stepped outside to be polite but he obviously didn't show the same courtesy of those dining. Later when we left the woman from the kitchen had come out to sit at his table and talk. Mast o mousir was nice and creamy though I prefer the shallots to be diced and small not whole pieces. There were huge chunks of garlic. The photo captures how the salmon looked when it was brought out - broken pieces and not great presentation. The rice looked like it had orange food coloring poured on top, didn't look or taste like saffron. The menu had also stated that the rice that came with the dish was rice with dill and Lima beans, bagahli polo was not served. For a $17 entree I would have expected at least a full tomato but it was not - just a half of a grilled tomato and it didn't seem fresh. To make it worse, the salmon had multiple bones. When you order salmon filet you expect it deboned. I get it when they miss one but this had over 10 when I gave up. The chicken was dry and N said it didn't live up to his expectations. I was disappointed and didn't finish. I would not return.

Thankfully, the place was easy to find once you arrived off the Bloomingdale's Court elevator. At first glance, the place was a ghost town. Exposed to the rest of the mall, they have an advantage for a decent view with the glass window as their one wall. With the exception of that, I felt like you could see a place like this at LAX. I honestly though they were closed, so I did a quick walk-around then by the time I came back, a girl was at the host stand. I told her I placed an order to-go and she said she saw my order being prepared in the back. I asked to see a menu since it was slightly different than what was being offered online. As I went to the bar area, a man came by asking if they were open so I guess he encountered the same desolate environment that I had. Another woman came out from the back to see if I was being helped. Decided to go with a non-alcoholic mojito and for some odd reason, a brownie. Food was brought out and I had a brief wait as she prepared the drink for me. Service was pleasant with the ladies I had dealt with. As for the food, I actually ordered the chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu ($12). Fries were tasty, and the chicken was flavorful. I don't say this often, but it was almost a little too salty. I did ask for bbq sauce but this was forgotten, so I'm glad the meat was decent on its own. As for the brownie, it was a rather small one but it was good. The mojito was okay; I can't believe I'm saying this but I guess I prefer the real (alcoholic) version, although I'm glad they have these 'refresher' options on the menu. Not going to lie, this place is rather expensive, but it's nice to have a new option in this area where the food is actually good. I wish Noor Cafe the best!

I almost wish that I wanted to make french fries and a beautifully presented circular wooden plate, and I ordered ice cold brew coffee absolutely delicious Brenda Sestrap and they offer a lot of different items and the prices are incredible. I really enjoyed my steak sandwich with jalapeños you didn't even take me 10 minutes from order to receive in and yeah I'll share again just added you to the flavor This is a wonderful option for DaleII, lunch, or if you're only a week in visitor? FOOD -- I've been to the Manhattan Beach location, but mostly tried new items this time around. Everything was good, but the parker house rolls, mac and cheese, NY strip, and lobster fra diavolo stood out. The rolls came out hot and fresh, with lots of herbs baked into them. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was creamy and smoky; I usually dislike restaurant mac but this one is so good. And the lobster fra diavolo was perfect. Lots of lobster pieces, with a well balanced red sauce, and perfectly cooked spaghetti. We celebrated my birthday and they brought out a sticky toffee pudding for dessert at the end of the meal. It's served with a scoop of ice cream. SERVICE -- It was a slower evening, so maybe that contributed to the attentiveness, but the staff here did not miss a beat. We were never left waiting for anything. We also got great suggestions. And they were just overall very pleasant. AMBIANCE -- The restaurant is beautiful. Perfect for date night. They had a lovely outdoor seating area as well, but it was humid the evening we came so we requested we be sat inside. Inside, there are a lot of booths, which was nice and spacious for two. PARKING -- Valet is right out front. I believe it was $20 with validation.

Parking in the area is SUPER difficult! It took us 20 minutes to find parking, so definitely get there early to park if you are going in the evening. I had the Lamb Mandi as my entree - this definitely could've been split between 2 people but instead I chose to give myself leftovers. They gave us a yogurt-based white sauce on the side and it paired deliciously with my dish! The lamb was unbelievably tender, literally fell off the bone. The rice was perfectly flavored as well. I had scoops of my lamb and rice and put it on top of pieces of the Tanoor bread - DELICIOUS! We had 4 HUGE pieces of bread and that was enough for our entire group of 8 people. I really enjoyed the mint lemonade juice, it was very refreshing. It was my first time having Karak Tea and I was pleasantly surprised! There was sugar at the table but we figured out that the you actually use the sugar candy stick to stir the tea in your cup and it acts as the perfect sweeter AND treat! It was so so good. The pot of Karak Tea was also plenty for the entire table to have a few cups. For two Lamb Mandi dishes and 2 beverages, my husband and I's portion was a little over $80 (not including the tip) and we both have LOTS of leftovers.
