Tehran plate with side of salad and rice(comes with order)
    Lyna K.

Experience: Came here on a Sat early evening. No reservations, just walk up. We were seated outside, then once a party left we took the table inside by the window. Small space but cozy. There were people there. The food came out pretty quickly, music was lively inside. Cute location, I liked the cafe style set up. First time trying Persian food. Was fun being in this enclave. It's a good location and next to many other bakeries, shops, etc. Food: Ordered 3 small plates (roasted eggplant dip, hummus, and pickled veggies), tahdig with 2 stews, and the Tehran plate special, which came with a plate or rice and a salad. Everything was very very tasty. From the dips to the stews, rice, and juicy meets. Very fresh, seasoned well, good flavor, a great dinner meal. Service: It was more of an order at the counter experience, not much interaction, but didn't mind it. Parking: Metered parking on Westwood, on a Saturday evening, plenty of open spaces. Ended up parking in a neighborhood 2 minutes from the restaurant, very easy and convenient. Verdict: Fun date night idea and location. Would def recommend the cuisine to anyone, can't go wrong, delicious food.

Amazing food and service. One of the best kabobs I've had. The two people working there did it all. A true family business. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

Visiting the area and found this spot near me, wow what a treat. The Lady who welcomed me and my friends is the hostess, cook and food runner. Worth the wait and I would wait again. Had the Chicken (Flat) kabob and salad with a side of pickled vegetables. YUMMY!!! Truly enjoyed the visit, sitting outside and enjoying this meal.

Great service and great and easy to order amazing Persian Food in the area. Great environment and friendly environment for family and friends. Highly recommended if you are around the area. Great customer service. She was really nice and kind to us. Definitely going back again and enjoy Ghormeh Sabzi. Great Salad Shirazi and great Persian Appetizers.

The food was amazing in my opinion, as one of the most underrated Persian restaurants in California. I got the #K7 and the meat was very flavorful with soft buttery rice and roasted veggies. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves beef to try it. A sweet lady runs the restaurant and although it was just my friends and I inside, she was so personable and made us feel at home. The inside of the restaurant is a little small but also has lots of outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal. I personally would love to go again just to support the wonderful lady who works there but the food is definitely worthwhile as well. Overall I strongly recommend!!

The Chelo Kabob Koobideh was a bit dry and just tasted like hamburger. Mast O Mosir was good. Nothing good enough for me to try anything else on the menu.

The Host welcomed us graciously, wished us a Happy Anniversary, and seated us immediately at a cozy table in the corner of the busy dining room. The serving team quickly approached, filling our water glasses and again welcoming us with big smiles. We'd had some cocktails before arriving, so my wife decided to stick with a Diet Coke for dinner, but I ordered a martini that was perfectly poured, icy cold, and topped with very fresh, blue cheese olives--a great start. Interestingly, Matu does not offer a filet mignon à la carte. The only way to order a filet (my wife's favorite cut) is to order the Filet Dinner, which is a 4-course tasting menu. Perhaps they just can't get enough filet at the quality they insist on -- I don't know -- but we decided to order the Filet Dinner and share the intermediary courses, with me ordering a small Ribeye and Creamed Spinach as my entree. The meal begins with a small cup of 24-hour Bone Broth that arrives steaming hot and packed with beefy flavor. The rich broth actually coats your tongue a bit, and the flavor lingers nicely. Next would have been Steak Tartare, but my wife substituted the Japanese Caesar, which was exceptionally tasty, with flavors in the dressing I simply couldn't place, but would happily eat for days. The last of the appetizers was a duo of Beef Croquettas -- also rich and flavorful with a savory sauce that amped up the richness even further. I don't know if I could eat an entire order (the full appetizer comes with 4 croquettas). Finally, on to the steak. My wife's Filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a deep flavor. My own Ribeye was equally tender, with a rich flavor from the marbling. Both steaks were served the house way, which is warm and red in the middle, with a lovely crust from live fire. These folks know how to make a steak, that's for sure. Creamed spinach was much the same as most places... still, very satisfying and a great accompaniment. For dessert, we ordered the Strawberry Panna Cotta, which was served with a celebratory candle for our anniversary. Mildly sweet with a slight tang from the berries, this was a light and refreshing way to cap the meal. I have to say, this was an excellent dinner with fine service in a wonderful atmosphere. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable for the location and the quality of the food, and our dinner here was $200 LESS than our Valentine's dinner at Cipriani, so I have to say this would be your much better bet for a celebratory night out. Though my wife insists we come back soon for lunch so she can get that amazing cheesesteak... and I'm totally willing to join her LOL!

Thankfully, the place was easy to find once you arrived off the Bloomingdale's Court elevator. At first glance, the place was a ghost town. Exposed to the rest of the mall, they have an advantage for a decent view with the glass window as their one wall. With the exception of that, I felt like you could see a place like this at LAX. I honestly though they were closed, so I did a quick walk-around then by the time I came back, a girl was at the host stand. I told her I placed an order to-go and she said she saw my order being prepared in the back. I asked to see a menu since it was slightly different than what was being offered online. As I went to the bar area, a man came by asking if they were open so I guess he encountered the same desolate environment that I had. Another woman came out from the back to see if I was being helped. Decided to go with a non-alcoholic mojito and for some odd reason, a brownie. Food was brought out and I had a brief wait as she prepared the drink for me. Service was pleasant with the ladies I had dealt with. As for the food, I actually ordered the chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu ($12). Fries were tasty, and the chicken was flavorful. I don't say this often, but it was almost a little too salty. I did ask for bbq sauce but this was forgotten, so I'm glad the meat was decent on its own. As for the brownie, it was a rather small one but it was good. The mojito was okay; I can't believe I'm saying this but I guess I prefer the real (alcoholic) version, although I'm glad they have these 'refresher' options on the menu. Not going to lie, this place is rather expensive, but it's nice to have a new option in this area where the food is actually good. I wish Noor Cafe the best!

What a lovely option for lunch and or dinner. The ceiling is incredibly comfortable with the services from me. I love the bar but I also love the open that this fear so I ordered the cheesy Steve sandwich. I ordered it with jalapeños and it was delicious. I almost wish that I wanted to make french fries and a beautifully presented circular wooden plate, and I ordered ice cold brew coffee absolutely delicious Brenda Sestrap and they offer a lot of different items and the prices are incredible. I really enjoyed my steak sandwich with jalapeños you didn't even take me 10 minutes from order to receive in and yeah I'll share again just added you to the flavor This is a wonderful option for DaleII, lunch, or if you're only a week in visitor? Oh, it presents as a textbook Jewish deli of old, with traditional brown booths and paneled dividers, dark Formica tables, and a menu featuring the greatest hits of deli dining. But the food here is overpriced and underwhelming, like so many of the other delis around town these days. The staff is nice, for sure. They welcome you with smiles, seat you quickly, and immediately offer you drinks. Everything is clean and well-preserved, so you feel like you're in for a great meal. I ordered my usual: Pastrami on Rye, Russian Dressing on the side, with Potato Salad. To drink: Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray, the very best soda for cutting through the richness of deli meat. The sandwich came promptly, and looked quite nice. The portion was appropriate for a normal sandwich (as opposed to being ridiculously stuffed), and the pastrami was nicely marbled. But looks can be deceiving. The bread was a bit too dense -- possibly made that way, or possibly a touch stale. Either way, after 2 bites I abandoned the bread and just ate the meat. The pastrami, while juicy with a soft texture, lacked flavor. I believe they bring their meat in from a purveyor, and the lack of inspiration is evident. Potato salad was also generously portioned, but had far too much mustard, and the result is a side dish that feels more Southern Picnic than Lower East Side. Again, this is a Deli serving a so-so sandwich at a price nearly the same as Katz's in NYC, and it's a shame. It's just not worth it. I've come to find that the best pastrami in Los Angeles is being served at places Johnny's in West Adams or on special at BBQ places, and usually at 2/3's the price. When it comes to Nate & Al's, I wouldn't say never go, but I wouldn't expect much bang for your buck -- or in the case of the pastrami sandwich, your 27-bucks.
