    Koobideh Kabob

Great experience here. Servers were quite nice and the koobideh was juicy and boneless chicken had a good char, yet still very tender. Raffi's is the closest comparison I can compare to and it competes very well + no wait when I went!

Enjoyed outstanding Persian cuisine in a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. We were seated outdoors which felt like a private dining experience. We started with shared appetizers of delicious hummus, eggplant, dolmeh and a yogurt cucumber sauce. For dinner my partner and I shared a scrumptious Sadaf combination #3 which included succulent and uniquely marinated rack of lamb ribs, juicy and flavorful chicken and steak. We highly recommend the Sadaf salad as an upgrade for a small price which includes dates, olives, fresh walnuts and feta. Wine available by the glass and bottle. The Persian ice cream with pistachio and rose water was a divine close to our evening. Some limited street parking available and a lot next to the restaurant.

Best Persian food in LA. Totally upto par with food in Iran. The lamb is definitely a standout. Have not found better! Definitely try to street park. Their parking lot is expensive.

I have been going to Sadaf for many years . Neda the manager stands out with her beautiful smile and she is so friendly. There is also Tina and Aiyman that always give the best service. The must things to try here are the juicy chicken and the barg. The best Persian food in Los Angeles hands down.

    Juicy Chicken with sadaf salad!

Went back for the lunch experience. The chicken was not as amazing as the first time. I still like their salad. The chicken lunch special including tip was about $32. It was a large portion. The service was challenging. Our server would forget things and appeared to be distracted. He was on his phone most of the time. It's a charming restaurant but service today was a miss. The food was still pretty good not great.

Fresh cooked meals, wide menu variety, & a great service. This place is good. Only reason it lost stars is because i've have better Persian food before. But I still really enjoyed my food. I ordered the combination 3 stews which comes with fesenjun, ghormesabzi, & one other bean stew that I forgot the name of. It was pretty good. Fesenjun is my favorite persian food but I've have better ones many times. The meat inside it wasn't very tender.

Combination of 3 Stews, all delicious - 5 stars!

I'm not too familiar with Persian food, but after dining here last weekend I'd definitely like to try more! This restaurant is cozy, chic, and the customer service was excellent!! Below is what we tried: Hummus - 4 1/2 Stars. This tahini hummus was the perfect consistency and rich in flavor. Definitely get this was a side of pita to scoop it up with, though would have been better if the pita was warm. One order is a portion big enough for 4 people. Juicy Chicken - 5 stars! Cooked perfectly, the name does it justice -- this was juicy, rich in flavor and delicious. Beet Salad - 4 stars. The beets were good, could have used a bit more feta and walnuts. (Personal preference) Plain Tahdig - 3 1/2 stars. My buddy liked this, I thought it tasted a bit stale. This is basically crispy rice that pairs well with stews. Combination of 3 Stews - 5 stars. This was excellent! Each stew was robust and rich in flavor and excellent with rice or the leftover pita from the hummus. I unfortunately can't tell you what all the stews were, but I want them again! All in all, this is a solid spot for classic Persian dishes in an intimate environment.

    Juicy Chicken + Shirazi Salad

There is no greater joy than a restaurant achieving what it has promised and Sadaf did just that during my visit. I ordered the Juicy Chicken but little did I know I'd be served the juiciest, and perfectly flavored chicken breast I've had in my life. To make matters even more impressive, the Shirazi Salad was fresh, bright, and I took the liberty of dipping the last bits of my chicken in the citrusy juice--what an absolute treat. Visit them for your next professional meeting, date, or catch-up with your best friend. It's a classy space with a super attentive staff, and at a shockingly reasonable price for BH. Enjoy!

Holy sh... This place is amazing! Funny thing I recently ate at a spot I thought was my #1, but this might just be better. The place looks both fancy and cozy. We came here after my theater performance to celebrate, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the juicy chicken it was drenched in marinade and incredibly tender, savory, and perfectly salted. We also got the koobideh kabob, which was just as juicy and full of flavor. The sautéed mushrooms were a nice surprise too really tasty! Even the tea was served in a super cozy and stylish way. The staff were kind and professional. Highly recommend! PS:Forgot to add the hummus was Delicious!!!

I would give this place 10 Stars if possible!…read more A real hidden gem in Beverly hills and I would highly recommend going here! A very exclusive Brunch menu but everything was a major hit! HUMMUS MASBACHA 10/10 was so smooth! Really flavorful and everyone wanted more of this! This was a vegetarian option which came with some chickpeas and a boiled egg on top. Just a heads up in case you don't eat egg that you should ask to take it off. PITA BREAD - This game with the hummus and it was perfectly warm and toasted and soft on the inside and crispy and the outside and just a mind-blowing pita bread! CHARRED EGGPLANT 9/10 was really soft and had a mild sweet flavor. It was cold which I was a little surprised by, but it went well with the warm Pita that came with the hummus! Only reason I took off a point is because it felt a little oily and it was the only item that didn't get fully wiped off the plate. CAULIFLOWER FLORETS 10/10 So flavorful and I think this might have been the family's favorite on the menu because it just disappeared. BREAKFAST BURRITO with FALAFEL 11/10 My in-laws don't eat meat or egg and wanted a proper vegetarian item for breakfast and we asked to customerize the burrito by replacing the eggs and bacon with falafel. Father in the thought he would not eat any of the burrito but ended up actually finishing his half of it! The restaurant needs to add this as an item on the menu! SHAKSHUKA with MERGUEZ SAUSAGE 10/10 What are really delicious and hearty breakfast item here. Husband and I shared this one and it was really flavorful and a good portion size as well. Good amount of sausage in there that went with the egg and the tomato sauce. JERUSALEM BAGEL - 12/10 This game along with the shakshuka and I think everyone on the table wanted more of it! It was actually warm and so huge and had that perfect crisp outside and a really lovely flavor. Cannot say enough good stuff for this one. SHUK SALAD with CHICKEN BREAST 10/10 Just a simple and healthy salad here but I would highly let the money if you want to balance out some of the heavy items on the menu but still get some vegetables and protein in. We did not use any of the dressing.

All of that is gone. The food is unrecognizable. The Israeli breakfast looked like a sad box lunch. The shook salad was essentially a bowl of arugula with a few stray vegetables hiding somewhere inside. And the famous Hummus Masabaha, once a signature dish worth returning for, has been reduced to a small cup of garbanzo beans with a drizzle of olive oil and a single egg, at less than half the size it used to be. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone who remembers what it once was. Bring back the real Nua!

The…read morerestaurant is not huge so it was a bit cramped in there because I think there were four groups that day. It was definitely bustling with energy and good vibes. The waiter took a little bit of time to get to us, I think, because it was so busy. Once he took our order, he was super attentive and on top of it and the food started coming out really quickly. Now they will tell you that the dishes are tapas style but as you can see from the pictures, they're actually maybe two to three times what tapas style really is. Just be mindful of that. I ordered four dishes thinking that it was going to be small plates and it actually turned out to be like regular-sized plates of food. I definitely ended up taking a bunch of stuff home. However every single thing that I ordered was really good and that was the hard part because I wanted to eat all of it but I also didn't want to be a fatty especially in front of new people. My most favorite dish was the broccoli. It was so well flavored and perfectly cooked. My next favorite dish was the oyster mushroom dish. I thought it was going to be oyster mushroom kebabs but it actually turned out to be like an oyster mushroom flatbread. The oyster mushroom was seasoned so well that it actually looked like meat and had to use a flashlight to really look closely at it. When I bit into it it was definitely an oyster mushroom and tasted so good. My next favorite dish was the beets. I got it without the cream. I also got the broccoli without the dairy as well. The beets were really fresh and delicious. I also got the bread, which I didn't expect to be as good as it was especially with that garlic oil that was so good. The bread was fresh and warm so I would definitely get that again. My least favorite dish is actually the sea bass. That's not to say that it was nasty or anything but I feel like the skin could have been crispier throughout. The skin was only crispy on the thinner end of the fish and not really on the wider end of the fish. The sea bass wasn't really well flavored in my opinion. The corn and the shishito peppers were definitely a really nice touch to the dish so I appreciated that. I also really liked that it had those tomatoes in there. All in all I would definitely come back here. I also learned that there's multiple locations so I would definitely try out one of those. I was just very well pleased with my experience.

From start to end this is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and I'm…read moreextremely disappointing. We made a reservation on their website which offered options later than what we chose. We chose 10pm. Upon arrival the host was having a conversation with another host and an employee. They didn't acknowledge us and we had to interrupt saying we had a reservation and gave the name on our reservation. They continued the conversation and didn't even make eye contact with us. The host grabbed menus and said right this way, still holding that conversation. We were seated and waited 11 minutes before the waitress came. She came and was not friendly at all. She explained that the kitchen and bar was closing and we needed to put everything in now. Which if we would have known from the very start we would have just went somewhere else, but they also charge your card to book a reservation. We put in our drinks and what we wanted to eat. She explained we would need to order multiple drinks now if we wanted them otherwise the bar is also closed. I've never been to an establishment where the bar closes at the same time as the kitchen. So we got two drinks each (of the same drink). We got one appetizer before the drinks came out. Half way through eating the drinks arrived, but we were confused why we got sent both of the drinks at the same time. We were under the impression we would order them and once we got the first one and tried it they would bring the other shortly after. My drink was horrible and tasted like a desert that was served with stale churros. The other two drinks were watered down already and it was frustrating feeling like you need to chug your drinks.. this is an upscale restaurant not a bar. We asked to talked to the manager and the server came instead to see what the issue was. We explained our confusion and expressed that we have never had drinks come at the same time, typically you order it, but you wait to bring the next one out since it'll water down or if you don't like it now you can't cancel it. I also explained to her I didn't like my drink and now I have two of them with stale churros before I even have a meal. She offered my partners second drink to me instead of offering another drink and took away my drinks + the churros. The manager came and immediately had said that he heard we were unhappy with the drinks, they're closing and he would comp them no problem, didn't ask us what was wrong or give us time to speak and was trying to walk away.... I interjected and said we should have been told by the host you were closing otherwise we wouldn't have sat down. My partner also interjected and said that there was later times on the reservation so it didn't make sense. The manager blamed the company and said they have been asking for online to be updated because it does not reflect their hours, but they won't fix it. I explained regardless of an online issue it should have been addressed by the host and those 11 minutes waiting we could have already had a drink. He had nothing more to say and rushed off which was also frustrating to not be heard at all. We kept waiting for our food. It was now almost midnight we were waiting for 40 minutes. I have watched our surrounding and noticed other waitresses still serving couples their drinks after we had been told the bar was closed. I also noticed no one else was being rushed out the way we were. The manager came up and said they forgot to put in the food and tossed a business card on the table stating the next time it was on him and to not worry about it and expressed he was sorry, but was still rushing away. Mind you other people were still enjoying their drinks and sitting. So we left with no food and wasted over an hour of our time since we do not live in the Hollywood area and drove specifically for this restaurant. It was too late to get a reservation anywhere else and we ended up having to get fast food. Overall ambiance is excellent, however not worth it. I think restaurants get too much hype online then stop trying to give excellent customer service.
