I would not recommended. I called Teejay about fixing the brake line on my daughter's car. He came and did a diagnostic for $95 and said that fee would be applied to the labor fee. Once he came and did the diagnostic he said he would try to find the part for her vehicle. The next day or so he informed us that he was unable to find the part and it would have to be ordered. I asked him if he could order it because mechanics usually get a better price, as well as to insure we had the correct part. He told me he was unable to find the part at the auto store or the pull apart and we would have to do it. We found the part for $150 and sent him a screenshot of it and he confirmed it was the correct part. After ordering the part, I found another mechanic to because I wasn't feeling great about our interaction when asking him about the part. The other mechanic came to put the brake line on but the break line,Teejay confirmed was the right part, did not fit. Hence, why I previously asked him to order it. Nonetheless, the other mechanic said he would get the part himself. He was able to find the part at several locations as well as pull apart. He got the part for $12. Once we were able to get everything taken care of I reached out to Teejay to see if he would refund the money that was to be applied to the labor. He said he would not refund the the money he would have only applied that to the labor. I said ok but also the part you said we needed was incorrect. He became argumentative and rude about the whole situation. I can understand if you have a no refund policy as far as the diagnosis goes, but there is no reason to be rude and, hostile about it. He was definitely unprofessional as far as my overall experience goes, even when asking about him ordering the part. Professionalisim goes a long way when providing a service. *and if you read some of his responses to the other reviews the tone says it all *never asked for anything for free. I asked for the refund for what he said he would apply to the labor. And AGAIN, if that is the policy, no worries. My overall point was the rudeness and unprofessional, as highlighted in his response. Never the money. read more

I had reached out to TEEJAY because he had great reviews and seemed to be a mobile mechanic who could handle suspension issues. We set the appt and 40mins later, he pulls into the meeting spot, looks at me and pulls out. I then received a text saying "call someone else". I absolutely couldn't believe his level of unprofessionalism I don't know if I was profiled, or he just believed I was younger than I am and didn't think I could afford his services. not sure, but he was completely unprofessional and a waste of time . Teejay is amazing! I'm in LA and my Mom lives in Atlanta... her van broke down and she had it towed to Pep Boys - Duluth. They quoted her $780 for repairs, which was odd, because they had just worked on her van 30 days before... charging her $1750+ for a tune up and filter changes! I felt like they were taking advantage of my Mom (who's 75) and immediately started looking for another mechanic! Found Teejay here and gave him a call... he answered the phone (!) and said he could come take care of it later the same day... His communication was great! He met my mom at her house and found the issue. Teejay did the same repairs as the PB quote... and charged my mom - parts AND labor - less than what Pep Boys was trying to charge for ONE part!! terrible I was referred to him by a++ pro since Monday we have been in communication said he was going to fix my car on Tuesday morning tuesday came nothing then Wednesday came nothing we set up appointment for noon on Thursday. He is a no show! I text him let him know how unprofessional he is and how we been going at since Tuesday. He is going to say I call you after 430 he says that all the time and don't call nor show up. Absolutely awesome service. I had no idea what was wrong with my son's car. I explained it to Teejay and he was able to tell me in detail what the problem was and the steps that needed to be taken to fix it. I would highly recommend TeeJay for all your vehicle repairs. My truck wouldn't start after work one evening. I contacted TeeJay and he came out right away. He immediately identified the issue as the fuel pump. The part had to be ordered, TeeJay gave me the option to have him get the part or I could get it myself. I opted to get it myself. I got the part and he repaired my truck the next day. His price was great and I've had no issues since the repair, over a month ago. Also, TeeJay heard my Mustang's brakes squeezing and explained why I should have the brakes replaced. He picked up new brakes and came to my house and changed my brakes. This guy is the Consumer's Dream in auto repair. He is 24/7 and once he is on site at your service. He knows automobiles very well. You can save you tow truck fees, he will service you vehicle where it broke down. He will pick up your part if you order online (best to have a data plan) you can save up to 25% off of your part. He made my repair in half the time he quoted. He also is able to multitask without skipping a beat. If you can get the part TeeJay can put it in. If there is need for a two man job, Rod B. steps in with him like a "Tag Team " and the Dynamic Duo kicks in to high gear. The next thing you know, they are shaking your hand and checking the Cash App before the drive out. I was able the make it to church on time!!!! BTW the job was a fuel embedded in my gas tank which had half a tank of gas. They pulled the gas tank replaced the fuel pump and kept the gas in the tank. Everything started out good. He was very communicative came on time and he gave us a quote for 150 but said if we did the service within 2 days the diagnostic price ($75) would go towards the service and it would be ($85) we got the part yesterday and called and told him we were ready and he said he would be there yesterday afternoon. He didn't show. He didn't call to tell us he wasn't coming. My husband had to reach out to him and he said when he finished the job he would call us and set up a time for the morning. It's 10 am we've called and text . He's reading our messages but no response. Communication is key especially when we've already given half the money. Battery died in my garage - looking at expenses to jump/tow/dealer service & time, decided to look for Mobile Car Repair and found TeeJay. He offered to take me to buy a battery if I had no other transportation but i was able to pick up a battery, let him know I had it and he was on-site within an hour, texting me his approx arrival time.
