The clerk behind counter at the Stone Mountain store has a really bad attitude. After my car was serviced with an oil change, I went to the counter. The clerk said nothing but pointed to the credit card machine. No price, no details of the work, nothing. How ignorant can your employees be?! Customer courtesy? Not here. Then when I pointed out that the tire leak they could not find has been causing a problem for months, he told me I could not expect them to fix the problem if I did not provide with all the information. My low tire pressure light was on; I am not an expert on tires. Fixing a leaking tire is your business! What difference does it make if the tire loses two pounds of pressure a week or a month?! I have another car that I am certain needs new tires, but Mr. Tire will not be considered for that work. Do something with your personnel or continue to lose customers. read more

I called ahead to see if they had time for an oil change when less than 10 minutes away. They stated they were free so i drove over. When I got there Daryl who was not super friendly from the beginning let me know it would be 1 hour and 30 minutes at least. He also was quite condescending and belittling when i was asking for a quote. I ended up going to the guys right next to them because they were nice and told me if i was looking for Mr.Tires i was in the wrong lot but they can still do it. Avoid this place at all costs! I made an appointment online, confirmed it on the phone with someone the night before but when I got there they had no record of my appointment and said it would be at least an hour and a half wait. What is the point of allowing people to make reservations online if you can't even pull them up? Then this guy at the counter said it would be $80 to get a regular oil change for a 2019 Nissan Altima! I had a coupon for $17.99 oil change, yet I couldn't use that I had to get an oil change that costed $80, but I could use the $17.99 coupon to get $5 off... like wow ok thanks I guess? I just moved to GA from up north and I NEVER paid that much for an oil change. I called the Nissan dealership (which I should've done in the first place) and they said for my car and what I need it would be $34.99! Dont ever go to this guys..Totally unprofessional and care less people.J went to change oil in my Mercedes c230 and after 2 weeks I noticed oil leak and have to take it to the Mercedes and they said previous oil changer guys did not put back oil filter cap and that did cost me 120$ and I had to wash my whole engine because of leak that was another 65$. Second experience on the same day I took my sisters Chrysler for tyre change and alignment but they never did alignment for next 2 days they kept telling me to come back and on third day they did it,but its been 1 month and I see my sisters cars front tyre are already eaten from side because they never did alignment and one more thing they did not put my spare wheel back,because they said they dont have tool for that..WTF..repair ahop does not have tool read more

I pulled into this business' lot with flat Goodyear tires on my front right and rear right side. There was well over an hour and a half to their close. They treated me like I was a bother, and offered no solutions. They didn't check the size of the tires, they just said they didn't have them and couldn't get them. They recommended I go down the road to Tires Plus, which I did to excellent and immediate service. If you're in the area and need tire help, I suggest you take their advice and do the same thing. read more

The guy on Thursday agreed with me, but wanted me to come back on Friday to talk to manager for a refund. I am very, very disappointed with the service I received at Mr. Tire. I went into Mr. Tire two weeks ago for an oil change and also requested that my two front headlight bulbs be changed as they were both out. I was charged $255.06 for these two services. I was in between client appointments and was in a bit of a rush but was struck at how much my total came out to be. When I got home and was able to speak with some friends, I realized how overcharged I was. I called two other places to get an estimate over the phone and each place stated that labor for replacing headlights is free and that I was significantly overcharged. I have reached out via email to Mr. Tire corporate 4 times via email over the last two weeks, and my email has not yet been responded to. I have however, received seven automatically generated emails from them requesting that I complete a survey on my experience. I have also been in communication with the store manager, who at first stated that there was not an error in the price of what I was charged. He stated that if I was able to get a quote from another service provider, that though they do not have a price match guarantee, he would be willing to talk to corporate to see what he could do if I got an estimate. I drive a Hyundai, so I intentionally went to a Hyundai service center to get an estimate in person though it was out of the way for me to do so. Hyundai printed out a quote for the same service totaling $81.90. When I submitted the estimate to the store manager, I was told that estimate would not suffice for a price match as it was not on letterhead and that corporate needed an estimate on letterhead that also included my name. At this point, the store manager said there was a price match guarantee. I then went to another service dealer to get a second estimate. This time, I went to a mechanic shop close to my job. They quoted me $67.09 for this same service that Mr. Tire performed for over THREE TIMES as much. This estimate is on letterhead and includes my name. I sent this estimate to corporate and to the store manager on Tuesday of this week and have not heard back. At first, I was outraged at how much I was charged for such a simple service that come to find, every other service dealer I spoke to does not do not even charge labor to perform. Mr. Tire charged me $31.06 for the cost of labor to change each headlight bulb. I paid $62.12 for the labor alone to switch out two bulbs. I was hoping that after two weeks (I called in the day after I received service to begin this process), Mr. Tire would have rectified this situation, but they have not. Neither this local branch, nor the corporate office. This was my third experience with this location. What can I say-they do a great job every time! Nate is always very helpful and explains what they are going to do. They are always upfront about the cost and time it takes. If they tell you it will be ready between 12-1230- IT WILL BE READY! The whole staff is courteous, helpful, and they always do a great job. I came again for another oil change. Once again these guys are so nice. They aren't pushy at all for you to get other services. They make a few suggestions and recommendations. They ACTUALLY rotate the tired as promised as opposed to other places that say they did, but really didn't. Will be back again in a few thousand miles for another oil change. read more

I stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation. After nearly an hour, they called me out to show me some wear on the very inside of my front tires. They said they really should do an alignment and put on two new tires. I agreed until I saw the bill; they wanted to charge me an exorbitant rate for this. I declined and asked just to have the oil change. They demanded to know where I could get a better price and then insisted on calling the other places I've had work done! When I insisted that I just wanted the oil change, they said, "well, then I'll tell the guys to go ahead and do the oil change."
