My truck blew a brake line on the way to the Atl airport. Triple A had my truck towed here by noon on Monday 11/9/2021. I was in contact with the shop daily. One excuse after another but was promised all 4 Rusty brake lines would be replaced for $700. The truck was supposedly repaired by my return trip on Friday the 12th. Well it wasn't. It cost almost $300 to Uber home to SC, 197 miles. I was again told the truck was ready at 5:50pm on Monday when it clearly says the shop closes at 6 pm. After swapping work days I was able to get a ride there Wednesday morning and was told only 2 of the 4 brake lines were replaced. dissatisfied and feeling majorly ripped off. If you don't live local, don't go here for repairs. read more

I went to this place because it was close and had five stars. I needed my AC fixed, and that was my initial reason for going. Called and the gentleman was nice and had great customer service. He made jokes on the phone, and I felt comfortable going to this place. I have since been there three times, and my AC is still not fixed. Each new time, there's something new that needs to be done, but no sense of urgency to do it. I am still waiting on an estimate promised in October. Additionally, I asked them to do a safety check and change my oil, which they did. Only to have my car notify me that my oil needed to be changed just two weeks after. There's little to no paperwork given to me, so only the Lord knows what's been done to my car. That part, I'll take onus for. I should've asked. It's a friendly establishment, but jokes don't fix cars. I do not recommend this location. read more

I just want to say how I have received top of the line service from Toyo..Automotive Service in Conyers GA. I have nothing but praise for this business. The first time I went there, I had a broken door handle. I could not open my door from the inside, which can be dangerous in certain situations. They fixed the door handle and I got an oil change and they fixed a rubber guard near my engine. They are fair and at no time did I feel I was being coaxed into repairs not needed. I have never posted a review before but had to warn you about this shop. The unbelievable thing is that I am actually a repeat customer. I really thought that I had a repair shop that i could depend on when in reality they literally charged me for work they clearly did not do. My car's check engine light was on and they charged me for "completed" work when in reality they simply reset the check engine light. When I came back with the car, I was charged again for more work that needed to be done. Again the light came back on and it failed emissions for the same original problem. I had the work done at another mechanic and the light has not come back on and passed emissions with no problem. Do what you wish, but I would NOT use this shop to so much as change my oil. read more

Loved this place! You can tell the owner really values his customers. My car stopped and I decided to have it brought here; it was after they closed but the owner was still there and offered to take the car and put me in the system! Right off the bat, let me say these folks are great! I'm not sure why there are only 2 reviews, maybe customers just don't think about it after the great service. I moved into the Conyers,GA ( Atlanta suburb) area about a year ago and of course needed to find a good mechanic. I took my Inifiniti suv to the dealer a few times, but then the dealer moved! It took almost an hour in atlanta traffic to get to the new loacation. Yeah, that wasn't going to work especially in case of emergency. I asked a few people at the gym for names of a good mechanic and Toyo kept coming up. So when I had a problem with a coolant leak and I thought my water-pump went up I took it over there. When I tell you these guys are thorough, they are thorough! They did a pressure test to determine the source of the leak and verified it wasn't the water pump ( $800 savings right there!) . They replaced 2 hoses, replaced the thermostat and did some more stuff. The total bill was under $300 . Another instance my truck wouldn't start and I charged the battery and drove it to Toyo for them to check it out . Of course I'm thinking it's the alternator (The dealer quoted me $700) since I replaced the battery a few months earlier. They checked the battery and verified it was good , checked the cables, did a charging system test , and a test to see what was draining the battery. They said everything was good and didn't charge me a dime! So what happened ? The owner asked about a power inverter I had on the seat that I use for my laptop. Well, I forgot that the night before I had the radio on with accessories plugged into the cigarette lighter and the laptop still charging in the power inverter . And no the truck wasn't running - yeah, yeah I know don't say it I know better. Anyway, good honest folks, very professional work and the cleanest shop you will ever see . read more

I went to this shop twice before. On the third time around, the service was very poor. I came in to have my car inspected due to whenever I stop at street light while pressing on the brakes, my car engine shakes but they couldn't find exactly what the problem was. They told me it was the motor mount then said it could be my cv axle then they threw in they gave me an oil change (which I DID NOT ASK FOR) and I didn't need an oil change at the moment. the girl at the front desk and the mechanic (old guy with full beard) looked at each other and smirked at each other. They walked away from front desk leaving the other male representative at the front desk explaining what's "possibly" wrong with my car all the while NOT looking me in the eye and speaking to me with truthfulness. Something told me these guys are being shady. They didn't give me a copy of inspection sheet. It was very unprofessional. They lost a customer and I'll never send anyone to this shop!! read more

Toyo Automotive are always my go to people for auto issues. My LS460 would not start last night in my garage. After a jump start I called Toyo about the issue. I could not go until 5pm the next day, but they agreed to take a look and find the problem. They diagnosed that the battery was the issue and replaced it along with a needed oil change within the hour. Once again, I was on my way a happy customer. read more
