I had a really disappointing experience at the Discount Tire in Conyers, and it honestly made what should have been a simple visit feel frustrating and embarrassing. Jake, the service advisor I worked with, was rude and dismissive from the start. He accused me of providing fraudulent information and spoke to me in a way that felt extremely disrespectful--like I wasn't even worth basic courtesy. It felt demeaning, especially with a full store of customers around. After speaking with his manager, his tone shifted--and at one point he even raised his voice while explaining that they don't price match over a certain dollar amount. That may be their policy, but it was never explained clearly upfront. To make matters worse, when he called BMW directly, the quote actually came back cheaper than what I had originally provided--so the accusation toward me was completely unnecessary. I came in needing tires immediately, so I didn't have the luxury of leaving, but if I did, I would have gone somewhere else without hesitation. No customer should be treated the way I was. I won't be returning to this location, and I would strongly recommend better training on customer respect and communication. read more

This is the 2nd time I've had this store install tires on my wife's Honda and both times they have broken a wheel stud. This time they didn't even mention it to me. I had a great experience today with Ladesta Woodson, the assistant manager. Brought my car in as my tire had a slow leak. Mr. Woodson took it right away, diagnosed a nail in the tire, and replaced the tire for free, since I had recently purchased it from another Discount Tire. In and out in 45 minutes. Superb customer service with ongoing updates as to when my car would be finished. Very polite, professional and personable. It doesn't get better than this! read more

The customer service was perfect. I never got the name of the rep, but he did a great job. The service was great, and it wasn't a long time to do the tire. The value was free of course as the tire needed to be plugged. I used to go here when they first opened, but they have more workers now. So I'm generally up on discount tire, but I'm sitting here being told my truck won't be ready until 7:30, it's 5:45 now, get the link for tracking so figure I'll go next door to get a drink and chill at arbys..guy then tells Mr not to go anywhere because if they get done and I'm not there they will keep my truck overnight. I was like you said an hour and a half. He said it might be sooner. Meanwhile, there's like 4 people telling me not to believe him, they brought there's in on appointments around 2, told it would be an hour and thier vehicle isn't even in the shop yet, one guy just needed a rotation. It's stupid, to threaten me with keeping my truck, if you can't do it say to come back tomorrow, and the bogus times? People are setting aside time to schedule this and your wasting their entire day because you can't schedule right? And if it's a manpower issue, that's not my problem, discount tire needs to factor that in to thier appointments and scheduling. People sitting here 5 hours waiting on something they were told would be done in an hour, and being threatened with seizure of their property if they don't is unacceptable read more

This is the only place to buy tires and get them fixed. The only problem is everyone knows it. You will have too make an appointment. They do have the excessive demand down to a good system. Crazy as it sounds I was allowed to stay in my car while they jacked up the car and replaced a wheel. Being in my own car I could still get some work done and make phone calls. Overall, I do agree with the positive reviews about this company/location. The problem that I encountered is that discount tire has a policy that is not posted or available in writing. If they take off your tire(s) and determine that they are "unsafe", they "can't" put your tire(s) back on, because of safety reason. This policy forces customers into an unplanned tire purchase. This is the situation that I found myself in during the purchase of four wheels. The management here told me that their policy is not available in writing or on their website. I do give the management credit for negotiating with me on the price for the tires, resulting in a decent reduction. read more

Excellent customer care, quick service, and their warranty coverage is unrivaled!! I bought my current tires with replacement coverage a year and a half ago. Today I popped a tire so I put on the spare and drove to the closest Discount Tire ( they are a national chain). They replaced the tire I popped for free. They also found a nail in a second tire so they repaired it for me free of charge too. :-) I've been a Discount Tire customer for many years. Next time you need tires, at least call them. I went to discount tire because I had a hole in my tire. Someone looked at my car and told me that another one of my tires was worn down. I told him only had the money to fix the one tire with a hole in it and that's when he told me that it's free to repair a hole. So I said OK if you can fix the tire with a hole in it then replace the other tire that's worn down. I paid $100 for the new tire, and picked it up and drove home. When I got home I noticed my right tire was completely flat. I called them and they said they couldn't fix the right tire, the wheel was bent. They put my life at risk and let me drive home with a damaged tire, and no one told me anything when I picked it up. They put air in it so I wouldn't notice, these people replaced a tire that wasn't damaged and then let me drive home without fixing the original problem. Then when I came back to get the wheel fixed they told me $96 on the phone, when I got there someone it was gonna be $109, but when it was time to pick up my car I had to pay $176. They lied to me repeatedly, I had to spend money I didn't even have just to get my car back. They are scammers and took advantage of me. read more

Have been there three times after getting brand new tires put on. First had to have a tire replaced on the side of the road because they broke the bead belt putting it on.
