Got to my car today after a long day at work and a long shuttle ride home... only to look and see that my tire looked like it was low on air. Jumped inside and yup.... Psi was 12 on one tire. Uhhhh. Googled tire shops near me and this one came up. Had never seen it before but I also don't frequent that particular area in McDonough so I see how I could have missed it. Stopped by and walked in.... Place was clean and very presentable. I was immediately greeted by Mike. I will say that again... IMMEDIATELY. So shoutout to Mike first and foremost for the welcome and the professionalism. I told him the issue and he walked right out to check. I was following him and he stopped me and told me I could stay inside. GREAT because Mike... I am exhausted. Long story short.... Mike had me pull my car into the bay. The team assessed and I had a long nail in my tire. The team fixed the tire and voila I was done. I don't even think I was there for 25 min. I went in for a flat tire came out $600 less with four brand new tires, which is actually not the bad deal and their payment options are very good and reasonable. The gentleman I worked with was extremely professional and polite. They took photos of everything else that was wrong with my car and did not pressure me to get anything else fixed. Went to tire south in McDonough a couple weeks ago to have them check my breaks for new pads they tell me I don't need any pads then I say well the light is on the dashboard and now I'm told we have to take a deeper look into it long story short they come back saying I needed calipers in the rear which would be $1500 plus and the only reason that is was because they did not do my breaks and rotors correct the first time I will never bring my 2017!Land rover to them ever again once they put my car back together all of sudden my brakes are scraping up against the rotor I feel they sabotage my car so that would have to come back to have all this cost that they caused read more

I purchased in October 2024 brand new tires and four Chevrolet rally wheels when they installed my wheel it was tire a real bad vibration. They me $140 for a new tire and said the rim was not bent. I took it to another tire store and they put it on the balancer and the rim was definitely bent the center caps on the wheels don't fit they rattle all the time you cannot get them tight I feel like I got ripped off for $1200 from this place. Take my advice and stay away from them cause I will not let them touch my vehicle with a 10 foot pole. read more

Super friendly and fast! My wife and I were on a road trip to Atlanta in her new car and we found out she had a bad valve in one tire. After it went flat, we got the spare on and showed up maybe a half hour before closing time. My wife was very concerned we wouldn't be able to get it fixed in time to make our destination. Not only did they immediately diagnose the issue, but they did the fix and put the spare back under a bunch of heavy suitcases within minutes. We were back on the road by closing time and able to get to our hotel successfully. I truly can't recommend this crew enough if you're in the area! read more

The facility is nice and interesting. But you're not there for the facility are you? You're there because you need tires and you need them done expediently but correctly. Am I right? Well thankfully they do have a nice waiting area because you're going to be waiting there a LONG time. People will come and go, you will run out of things to do and the free snacks that they offer will stave off the hunger for real food for so long. You will notice that throughout your 1to 2 hours plus wait time that no one will keep you updated or make any attempt to make eye contact with you and be generally pleasant. Once you finally get to leave be sure to check their work. Since when we last went, not only were the air caps missing in one of of our tires but the air in the tires was all wrong. I guess the lesson learned is not to be one of the last ones since everyone is itching to go home and will likely mess up! Oh and although we paid for alignment we didn't get it because of some obscure reason that isn't even true. Something to do with our tire rods needing replacement. Completely off base since we don't do the type of driving that would necessitate that the tire rods need replacement quite so soon. All in all if you must go here do yourself a favor and go first thing in the morning and not at the end of the week. Also check their work before leaving; check that all your lug nuts are tight, that the air caps are on all tires and that all tires have about the same amount of air pressure in them. Quick speedy service when I was there, they took care not to scratch my wheels while mounting tires. Only gripe is just wondering if mounting and balancing is one flat rate no matter what is done, I carried my two tires up there in the bed of my truck they were mounted and balanced and disposed of only, no valve stems and no pressure sensor re-learn but my invoice reflects both. I will return in the future for additional work but will ask about pricing before work is accomplished. read more

Got some tie rods put on by Tire South, when I picked up my truck, the jam nuts weren't screwed down tight (which is a HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!!!) (a car cannot be driven without the jam nut tight on the tie rod. Also, "the professionals" destroyed the plastics on my fender well from turning the wheel too much on a lifted Silverado. I will NEVER be back here. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. It will cost you more money in the parts that have to be fixed after they tear them up. read more

The first thing I noticed after paying $2500+ for a set of 4 tires is they put the wrong sidewall facing outwards when I picked up the truck. Not that big of a deal I thought. Then I check the oil the next morning to find it's a half a quart high which told me one of two things. They either overfilled it or didn't replace the oil filter, in my experience it is the second option because the tech didn't feel like removing my skid plate to get to the oil filter. Fast forward a month and I hit something to flatten my tire. I bring it up here expecting no charge since Jason at the front desk specifically told me when I made the purchase I was buying the warranty and road hazard coverage. Now I'm being told they don't cover the road hazard and I must purchase a new tire for almost $600. Please keep in mind from the quotes I got elsewhere TireSouth was by far the most expensive. I'm extremely unsatisfied with Jason's professionalism to solve the issue and the overall price I payed for the tires in the first place that came with NO WARRANTY. Do yourself a favor and use anyone else for your new tire purchase and oil changes. This place is a joke. Update: picked up my truck today with the new tire and I must say Jason was much more professional and helpful which I appreciate. I'm still not thrilled at the overall price or the oil service I received but they did allow me to purchase the road hazard for all 4 tires at a good discount so I would be fully covered from here on out. Changed my review from 1 to 3 stars because of this. I'm not here to take business away from people just to give honest reviews. read more

I brought my 2002 in for 4 new tires and an alignment. I had an "appointment " for 8am when they opened, and ended up waiting 3 hours. They gave my car a complete inspection which I did not request or confirm. I was told my car needed $3800 worth of work and they could not do the alignment because of it. They misidentified a coolant leak as an oil leak (clearly not their area of expertise). They broke the hood strut and just left it laying on the side of the engine. To cap it off, they put their Road Hazard service on my bill without asking to the tune of $60. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

BUYER BEWARE! *changed to one star* $99 for a part that I can buy from another supplier for $35. This means that the part costs significantly less than $35. Why pricgouge on parts? I was excited about TireSouth working on truck since they had great reviews. My experience last Saturday was the worst experiences I have ever had at any mechanic. I called weeks in advance to make an appointment for a leveling kit and new tires. The morning of the installation I was told they have the tires I wanted in stock. That afternoon 30 minutes before they closed I was told they don't have the tires, but they could give me USED TIRED. For a place that is called TireSouth they should have tires in stock and not offer customers used tires. I do not recommend this place for any kind of work or buying tires from them. read more
